• Always disconnect the power supply to the appliance before
cleaning.
• Install the appliance out of the reach of children.
• Never insert hands or other objects into the appliance while it
is connected to the power supply.
• Install the Insect killer at least 1 metre away from food
preparation areas.
• Never use near flammable objects.
• For use under covered areas, e.g. Terraces, marquees, etc.
• This product should be plugged into a suitable socket that is
designed for outdoor use.
• Keep all packaging away from children.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an
EAZYZAP agent or a recommended qualified technician in
order to avoid a hazard.
• EAZYZAP recommend that this appliance should be periodically
tested (at least annually) by a Competent Person. Testing
should include, but not be limited to: Visual Inspection,
Polarity Test, Insulation Continuity and Functional Testing.

Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read
through this manual. Correct maintenance and
operation of this machine will provide the best
possible performance from your EAZYZAP product.

EAZYZAP prides itself on quality and service,
ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents
are supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit,
please contact your EAZYZAP dealer immediately.
Installation
Note: Ensure the mounting substrate and
the fixings used can support the weight of
the appliance. If in doubt seek professional
advice or assistance.
1. Remove all packaging and protective film from
the Insect killer.
2. For best results, locate the Insect killer in the
darkest part of the room, but at least 1 metre
away from food preparation areas.
Note: Close proximity to other light sources
such as sky lights and windows will reduce
the effectiveness of the Insect killer.
Operation
WARNING: Under no
circumstances should hands be
placed anywhere near the high
voltage grid when the appliance
is operational.
The insect killer works by luring insects on to an
electrified metal grid using ultra-violet light. It
uses no chemicals and is pollution free. To use the
Insect killer:
1. Connect the appliance to mains power.
2. The light will come on and the grid will become
electrically charged.
Cleaning, Care &
Maintenance
Always disconnect the appliance
from the power supply before
cleaning.
• Clean the collection tray regularly with warm
soapy water.
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water. Wipe
the safety guard and external casing with a
damp cloth.
• Change the bulbs every 9 months.

Changing the Bulb
WARNING: Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before changing the
bulb.
1. Unscrew the collection tray [Fig. 1].
2. Lay the appliance on the side.
3. Unscrew the two screws holding the bottom plate [Fig. 2].
4. Hold the ends of the bulb and just pull to remove it from its socket.
5. Replace with a new bulb.
6. Re-locate the bottom plate and screws.
7. Screw the collection tray back into place.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

Veiligheidstips

• Alvorens dit apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd de

Inleiding
Neem de tijd en lees deze handleiding aandachtig
door. Een correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze
machine waarborgt de beste prestatie van uw
EAZYZAP-product.
Verpakkingsinhoud

EAZYZAP is trots op de productkwaliteit en
dienstverlening en controleer de inhoud van de
verpakkingen, tijdens de verpakkingsfase, op
functionaliteit en schade.
Mocht u product door transport zijn beschadigd,
neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw
EAZYZAP-dealer.
Installatie
Opmerking: zorg dat de gebruikte
montagebasis en bevestigingen het gewicht
van het apparaat kunnen dragen. Bij twijfel
vraag deskundig advies of ondersteuning.
1. Haal de insectenlamp uit de verpakking en
verwijder de beschermfolie.
2. Voor het beste resultaat, plaats de
insectenlamp in de donkerste plek van de
kamer, maar altijd op een afstand van minstens
1 meter van plaatsen waar voedsel wordt
bereid.
Opmerking: De dichte nabijheid van andere
lichtbronnen, zoals plafondverlichting
en ramen, verlagen de efficiëntie van de
insectenlamp.
Bediening
WAARSCHUWING: Plaats nooit
uw handen in de buurt van het
hoogspanningsrooster wanneer
het apparaat is ingeschakeld.
De insectenlamp lokt met UV-licht insecten naar het
stroomgeleidende, metalen rooster. Het apparaat
gebruikt geen chemicaliën en is milieuvriendelijk.
De insectenlamp gebruiken:
1. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
2. Het indicatielampje brandt en het rooster wordt
elektrisch geladen.
Reiniging, zorg &
onderhoud
Alvorens het apparaat te
reinigen dient men het apparaat
en de stroomvoorziening uit te
schakelen.
• Reinig de opvangbak regelmatig met warm
zeepwater.
• Dit apparaat NIET in water dompelen. Maak
de beschermkap en de buitenkant van de
behuizing met een vochtige doek schoon.
• Lampen om de 9 maanden vervangen.

Lamp vervangen
WAARSCHUWING: Alvorens de lamp te vervangen dient men altijd de schakelaar op Off (Uit)
te zetten en de stroomvoorziening uit te schakelen.
1. Schroef de opvangbak [Afb. 1] los.
2. Leg het apparaat op de zijkant.
3. Schroef de twee schroeven los, die de bodemplaat vasthouden [Afb. 2].
4. Houd de uiteinden van de gloeilamp vast en trek er gewoon aan om hem uit de fitting te halen.
5. Vervang de gloeilamp door een nieuwe.
6. Plaats de bodemplaat en de schroeven weer terug.
7. Schroef de opvangbak weer op zijn plaats terug.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de stekker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N
Raadpleeg bij twijfel een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling
moeten de isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.

Het WEEE-logo op dit product of bijbehorende documentatie geeft aan dat het product
niet onder huisvuil valt en ook niet als zodanig mag worden verwerkt. Ter preventie van

Conseils de sécurité
• L’installation et les éventuelles réparations doivent être
confiées à un dépanneur / technicien qualifié. Ne retirez aucun
composant ou cache de ce produit.
• Consultez les normes locales et nationales pour vous
conformer aux :
- lois sur l’hygiène et la sécurité au travail ;
- codes de bonnes pratiques BS EN ;
- précautions contre le risque d’incendie ;
- réglementations sur les branchements électriques IEE ;
- règlements sur la construction.
• Veillez à toujours éteindre l’appareil et à le débrancher de la
prise d’alimentation secteur avant de le nettoyer.
• L’appareil doit être installé hors de portée des enfants.
• Ne mettez jamais les mains ou un objet quelconque dans
l’appareil relié à une source d’alimentation.
• Installez le désinsectiseur à au moins un mètre des zones de
préparation des aliments.
• N’utilisez jamais le désinsectiseur près d’objets inflammables.
• Pour une utilisation sous des zones couvertes, par exemple
des terrasses, des chapiteaux, etc.
• Ce produit doit être branché sur une prise adaptée et conçue
pour une utilisation extérieure.
• Gardez les emballages hors de portée des enfants.
Débarrassez-vous des emballages conformément aux
règlements des autorités locales.
• Un cordon d’alimentation endommagé doit être remplacé par
un agent EAZYZAP ou un technicien qualifié recommandé,
pour éviter tout danger.
• EAZYZAP recommande de faire tester régulièrement cet
appareil (une fois par an au minimum) par une personne
compétente. Le test devrait inclure, entre autres : inspection
visuelle, test de polarité, test d’isolation et test de
fonctionnement.

EAZYZAP attache une grande importance à la
qualité et au service et veille à fournir des produits
en parfait état opérationnel, parfaitement intacts
au moment de l’emballage.
Nous vous prions de contacter votre revendeur
EAZYZAP immédiatement si vous constatez un
dommage quelconque survenu pendant le transport
du produit.
Installation
Remarque : Assurez-vous que le support de
fixation et les fixations utilisés sont assez
solides pour soutenir le poids de l’appareil.
En cas de doute, faites-vous conseiller ou
aider par un professionnel.
1. Retirez l’emballage et la pellicule de protection
du désinsectiseur électrique.
2. Pour des résultats optimaux, installez le
désinsectiseur dans la partie la plus sombre de
la pièce, mais à au moins un mètre des zones
de préparation d’aliments.
Remarque : une installation du
désinsectiseur trop près d’autres sources
de lumière, telles que des lucarnes ou des
fenêtres, en réduirait l’efficacité.
Utilisation
AVERTISSEMENT : N’approchez
en aucun cas les mains de
la grille à haute tension de
l’appareil lorsque celui-ci est en
service.
Le désinsectiseur fonctionne en attirant les insectes
vers une grille métallique électrifiée, grâce à la
lumière ultraviolette. Il n’utilise aucun produit
chimique et ne pollue pas. Pour le mettre en
service :
1. Branchez l’appareil sur une prise d’alimentation
secteur.
2. La lumière s’allume alors et la grille s’électrifie.
Nettoyage, entretien et
maintenance
N’oubliez jamais d’éteindre
l’appareil et d’en débrancher le
cordon d’alimentation avant de
le nettoyer.
• Nettoyez régulièrement le bac de récupération
à l’eau tiède savonneuse.
• NE PAS immerger l’appareil. Essuyez la protection
et le boîtier extérieur à l’aide d’un chiffon humide.
• Changez les ampoules tous les 9 mois.

Pour remplacer l’ampoule
AVERTISSEMENT : N’oubliez jamais d’éteindre l’appareil et d’en débrancher le cordon
d’alimentation avant de changer les ampoules.
1. Dévissez le plateau de collecte [Fig. 1].
2. Posez l’appareil sur le côté.
3. Dévissez les deux vis qui maintiennent la plaque inférieure [Fig. 2].
4. Tenez les extrémités de l’ampoule et tirez simplement pour la sortir de sa douille.
5. Remplacez-la par une ampoule neuve.
6. Remettez la plaque inférieure et les vis en place.
7. Revissez le plateau de collecte en place.

Raccordement électrique
La prise doit être reliée à la prise secteur qui convient.
Cet appareil est câblé comme suit :
• Fil conducteur (brun) à la borne marquée L
• Fil neutre (bleu) à la borne marquée N
En cas de doute, consultez un électricien qualifié.
Les points d’isolation électrique doivent être libres de toute obstruction. En cas de débranchement requis
en urgence, ils doivent être facilement accessibles.

Wir stellen sicher, dass alle gelieferten Produkte
zum Zeitpunkt der Verpackung voll funktionsfähig
sind und sich in einwandfreiem Zustand befinden.
Sollten Sie Transportschäden feststellen, wenden
Sie sich bitte unverzüglich an Ihren EAZYZAP-
Händler.
Montage
Hinweis: Darauf achten, dass die Fläche und
Schrauben, an denen das Gerät befestigt
werden soll, das Gewicht des Geräts tragen
können. Im Zweifelsfall fragen Sie bitte
einen Fachmann.
1. Entfernen Sie die gesamte Verpackung sowie
den Schutzfilm vom Insektenvernichter.
2. Die besten Ergebnisse erzielen Sie, wenn Sie
den Insektenvernichter in der dunkelsten
Ecke des Zimmers platzieren. Er muss jedoch
mindestens 1 Meter von Bereichen entfernt
sein, in denen Lebensmittel zubereitet werden.
Hinweis: Die Nähe zu anderen Lichtquellen
wie Dachluken und Fenstern mindert die
Wirksamkeit des Insektenvernichters.
Betrieb
VORSICHT: Kommen Sie unter
keinen Umständen mit den
Händen in die Nähe des unter
Spannung stehenden Gitters,
wenn das Produkt in Betrieb ist.
Der Insektenvernichter lockt die Insekten mithilfe
von ultraviolettem Licht auf ein elektrisches
Metallgitter. Er nutzt keine Chemikalien
und ist umweltfreundlich. Nutzung des
Insektenvernichters:
1. Schließen Sie das Produkt an das Stromnetz
an.
2. Das Licht geht an und das Gitter wird elektrisch
aufgeladen.
Reinigung, Pflege und
Wartung
Vor der Reinigung stets
zunächst das Gerät abschalten
und den Netzstecker ziehen.
• Die Auffangschale regelmäßig mit einer
warmen Seifenlösung reinigen.
• Gerät NICHT in Wasser eintauchen. Die
Schutzvorrichtung und das Gehäuse außen mit
einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
• Die Glühbirnen alle 9 Monate auswechseln.

Glühbirne auswechseln
VORSICHT: Vor Auswechseln der Glühbirne stets zunächst das Gerät abschalten und den
Netzstecker ziehen.
1. Schrauben Sie das Sammeltablett ab (Abb. 1).
2. Legen Sie das Gerät auf die Seite.
3. Entfernen Sie die beiden Schrauben der unteren Platte (Abb. 2).
4. Halten Sie die Enden des Leuchtkörpers und ziehen Sie daran, um ihn aus der Fassung zu entfernen.
5. Durch einen neuen Leuchtkörper ersetzen.
6. Befestigen Sie mit den beiden Schrauben die untere Platte.
7. Befestigen Sie das Sammeltablett erneut.

Elektroanschlüsse
Der Stecker muss in eine geeignete Steckdose gesteckt werden.
Das Gerät ist wie folgt verdrahtet:
• Stromführender Leiter (braun) an Klemme L
• Neutralleiter (blau) an Klemme N
Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte an einen qualifizierten Elektriker.
Elektroisolierpunkte dürfen nicht blockiert werden. Bei einem Notstopp müssen diese Punkte jederzeit
sofort zugänglich sein.
Konformität
Das WEEE-Logo an diesem Produkt oder in der Dokumentation weist darauf hin, dass
das Produkt nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf. Um potenziellen
Gesundheits- bzw. Umweltschäden vorzubeugen, muss das Produkt durch einen
zugelassenen und umweltverträglichen Recyclingprozess entsorgt werden. Ausführliche

Suggerimenti per la sicurezza
• L’installazione e le eventuali riparazioni devono venire eseguite
da un agente/tecnico qualificato. Non rimuovere i componenti
o i pannelli di accesso dell’apparecchio.
• Verificare la conformità alle normative locali e nazionali di
quanto segue:
- Normativa antinfortunistica sul lavoro
- Linee guida BS EN
- Precauzioni antincendio
- Normativa IEE sui circuiti elettrici
- Norme di installazione
• Spegnere e disconnettere l’alimentazione prima di pulire
l’apparecchio.
• Installare l’apparecchio fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
• Non inserire le mani o altri oggetti nell’apparecchio quando è
collegato all’alimentazione.
• Installare la lampada insetticida a una distanza di almeno 1
metro dalle aree dedicate alla preparazione di cibi.
• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio in prossimità di oggetti
infiammabili.
• Da utilizza in aree coperte, per esempio terrazze, tendoni ecc.
• Questo prodotto deve essere collegato a una presa idonea
progettata per uso esterno.
• Tenere lontano l’imballaggio dalla portata dei bambini. Smaltire
l’imballaggio in conformità alle normative locali.
• Se danneggiato, il cavo di alimentazione deve venire sostituito
da un agente EAZYZAP o da un tecnico qualificato al fine di
prevenire eventuali rischi.
• EAZYZAP raccomanda che questo apparecchio venga
periodicamente testato (almeno una volta all’anno) da una
persona competente. I test dovrebbero includere, ma non
solo: ispezione visiva, test di polarità, continuità di isolamento
e test funzionale.

EAZYZAP garantisce una qualità e un servizio
impeccabili e assicura che al momento
dell’imballaggio tutti i componenti forniti sono
integralmente funzionanti e privi di difetti.
Nel caso siano rilevati danni risultanti dal trasporto
del prodotto, rivolgersi immediatamente al
rivenditore EAZYZAP locale.
Installazione
Nota: assicurarsi che il supporto di
montaggio e i dispositivi di fissaggio
utilizzati siano in grado di sostenere il
peso dell’apparecchio. In caso di dubbio,
rivolgersi a un tecnico qualificato.
1. Rimuovere l’imballaggio e la pellicola protettiva
dalla lampada insetticida.
2. Per ottenere i migliori risultati, installare la
lampada insetticida nell’area meno illuminata
dell’ambiente, mantenendo una distanza
di almeno 1 metro dalle aree dedicate alla
preparazione di cibi.
Nota: la vicinanza ad altre sorgenti di luce
quali lucernari e finestre riduce l’efficacia
della lampada insetticida.
Funzionamento
AVVERTENZA: quando
l’apparecchio è in funzione, non
avvicinare per nessun motivo
le mani alla griglia ad alta
tensione.
La lampada insetticida attira gli insetti su una
griglia in metallo elettrificata utilizzando luce
ultravioletta. Non impiega sostanze chimiche ed
è priva di sostanze inquinanti. Per utilizzare la
lampada insetticida:
1. Collegare l’apparecchio all’alimentazione di
rete.
2. La spia si accende e la griglia si carica
elettricamente.
Pulizia e manutenzione
Prima di eseguire la pulizia,
spegnere l’apparecchio e
scollegarlo dall’alimentazione.
• Pulire periodicamente il cassetto di raccolta
utilizzando acqua calda saponata.
• NON immergere l’apparecchio in acqua. Pulire
la protezione di sicurezza e la superficie
esterna utilizzando un panno inumidito.
• Sostituire la lampada ogni 9 mesi.

Sostituzione della lampada
ATTENZIONE: prima di cambiare la lampada, spegnere sempre l’apparecchio e scollegarlo
dall’alimentazione.
1. Svitare il vassoio di raccolta [Fig. 1].
2. Stendere l’apparecchio sul lato.
3. Svitare le due viti che tengono il piatto inferiore [Fig. 2].
4. Afferrare le estremità della lampadina e tirare per rimuoverla dall’alloggiamento.
5. Sostituire con una nuova lampadina.
6. Riposizionare il piatto inferiore e le viti.
7. Riavvitare il vassoio di raccolta nella sua posizione.
