4. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the ebode FM-66BT. Listen to your music player and make
hands-free calls through your car speakers. The FM-66BT is a multifunctional audio FM
transmitter which connects your smartphone to your car radio. Simply plug the FM-66BT
in to your cigarette lighter and pair your device to the FM-66BT. This can be done via
Bluetooth or by tuning your radio to any free local FM channel. The built-in MP3/WMA
decoder chip wirelessly transmits music from your USB stick to car stereo. When a call
comes in the FM-66BT switches automatically to hands-free Bluetooth speakerphone call
mode and back when the call is finished. Also includes dual USB charging feature to
charge your mobile phone. Easy to use and carry, enjoy your safe ride!

5. CONFORMITY OF USE
For carefree and safe use of this product, please read this manual and safety information
carefully and follow the instructions. The unit is registered as a device that does not
cause or suffer from radio-frequency interference. It is CE approved and it conforms with
the Low Voltage Directory. The safety and installation instructions must be observed.
Technical manipulation of the product, or any changes to the product, are forbidden, due
to security and approval issues. Please take care to set up the device correctly - consult
your user guide. Young children should use the device only under adult supervision. No
guarantee or liability will be accepted for any damage caused due to incorrect use of the
equipment supplied, other than indicated in this owner’s manual.
Safety warnings
To prevent short circuits, this product (except if specified for outdoor usage) should
only be used inside and only in dry spaces. Do not expose the components to rain or
humidity.
Only connect the power cord to the mains after checking whether the mains voltage is
the same as the values on the rating labels. Never connect a power cord when it is
damaged. In that case, contact your supplier. If there is any danger of a thunderstorm,
it is a good precaution to unplug the power supply from the mains network in order to
protect it from lightning. The same applies if the system is to be out of action for any
length of time.
Avoid strong mechanical tear and wear, extreme ambient temperatures, strong
vibrations and atmospheric humidity.
Do not disassemble any part of the product: the device contains live parts and no user-
serviceable parts are inside. The product should only be repaired or serviced by qualified
and authorized service personnel. Defected pieces must be replaced by original (spare)
parts.
Batteries: keep batteries out of the reach of children. Dispose of batteries as chemical
waste. Never use old and new batteries or different types of batteries together. Remove
the batteries when you are not using the system for a longer period of time. When
inserting batteries be sure the polarity is respected. Make sure that the batteries are not
short circuited and are not disposed in fire (danger of explosion).
In case of improper usage or if you have opened, altered and repaired the product
yourself, all guarantees expire. The supplier does not accept responsibility in the case of
improper usage of the product or when the product is used for purposes other than
specified. The supplier does not accept responsibility for additional damage other than
covered by the legal product responsibility.

8. BLUETOOTH MODE
1. Plug the FM-66BT into the cigarette lighter socket and switch the power on. The
product will start up and LED will display the frequency once it is powered.
2. If your phone is connected to Bluetooth hands-free for the first time, match
connection is required. Enable the Bluetooth function of your phone while the
Bluetooth hands-free is on and search the “FM-66BT”on your music device.
3. Select “FM-66BT”and pairing will be automatically done. A prompt sound will be
given after pairing.
4. For making a call, dial the number by pressing the phone number under connection
state and the sound will be given out from car audio.
5. If there is an incoming call under the connection state, press to answer the call.
While answering the call, press to switch between the mobile phone microphone
and the product microphone. Press to hang up.
6. Having an incoming call which you do not want to answer, press to reject.
7. Play music: Music will be transmitted to your car audio via FM so that you can enjoy
music with higher quality. Press to play/pause and press for next/
previous song. Note: phones with lower system version do not support this function.
9. USB PLAYING MODE
1. Plug the device into the car cigarette lighter socket, then the player detects songs
inside the USB disk and will play automatically. Press to play the next or
previous song, shortly press to play/pause. Long press for digital frequency
flash, shortly press to increase/decrease FM frequency.
2. Power on the car radio and state to FM radio, adjust the device frequency the same
as the car radio frequency, now you can play music over the car radio speakers.
3. To adjust the frequency on the FM-66BT, long press to enter the selected
frequency state (digital frequency flashes), shortly press to achieve FM
frequency increase/decrease. Hold to increase/decrease the frequency
quickly. Frequency is adjustable within 87.5 - 108MHz.
4. The FM-66BT has a dual USB port (Only nr.10 in the picture on previous page
supports playing music). Both USB ports do support charging function with
maximum output 5V/2.1A. When using both USB ports at the same time, the total
current is max. 2.1A. When using the port for playing music from USB drive, the
other port can be used as charger as well.

10. AUDIO INPUT MODE
Insert the included line in cable to the sound source and with the other end to the
product audio hole on the FM-66BT. Shortly press to turn up/down the volume
and long press to enter choosing frequency mode. At this time, the frequency point on
LED window will flash, then shortly press to increase/decrease the frequency.
Long Press and hold to increase/decrease the frequency quickly. Frequency is
adjustable between 87.5 - 108MHZ. Note: Audio cable need to be linked to the external
audio device first, before connected to the FM-66BT, otherwise it will not play music.
11. SWITCH BETWEEN BLUETOOTH AND USB MODE
Long press to switch between Bluetooth mode and USB mode, but please note that
without an inserted USB disc switching is not possible. Note: Wait for 10 seconds after
turning on the FM-66BT before switching.
12. POWER-OFF MEMORY
Every time when you power off this product, the system will memorize the information
like the FM frequency and the song you are playing. And when you use it next time, the
song will continue being played .But when you remove or change the storage or the
system detects the wrong status, the system will play the first song.
13. ATTENTIONS
1. This product contains dual USB outputs. It can charge two devices at the same time
with the maximum output of 5V/2.1A.
2. There is only one USB playing port which (please see image on page 3).
3. When the USB disc is inserted, line in function is on and Bluetooth function is turned
on. Once booted, FM-66BT will connect automatically with the phone via Bluetooth.
4. Never turn the volume too loud when FM is working, to avoid sound distortion.
Please adjust the sound volume through the car audio.
5. A built-in antenna is provided, so please avoid using the broadcasting station
frequency that is with strong signal so as to get better sound effect.
6. The method to operate Bluetooth may differ due to the difference of the phones
applied.
7. Some phones may not support automatic connection if they are powered on after
the power failure. If so, please connect them by hand.
8. This product is compatible with more than 95% phones on the market but some are
still incompatible. Please pay attention to it when purchasing our product.
9. The volume should be proper during a call to avoid affecting the other party.
10. Do not use this product in the environment with high temperature, dust or
moisture.
11. Avoid dropping the product to prevent damage to the surface or the body.
12. The Bluetooth of this product supports background play. If there is a prompt tone
when playing music with line function, it will be automatically switched to the
Bluetooth mode. To return to line function, please pull and plug the line again.
