SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this
manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user
must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that
cannot be integrated into aproduct. Therefore, these factors shall be
ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not
liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, or the
modication or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
Fundamental precautions shall be observed when using the product,
including the following:
1. Makesurethatthevoltageandfrequencyinyouroutletcorresponds
to the voltage, frequency and the required capacity shown on the
device label, and that the outlet is properly grounded. The outlet
must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes
according to EN.
2. Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged if
there is afall or any damage or the device is not working properly.
All repairs, including cord replacements, must be carried out
at aprofessional service centre! Do not remove the protective
covers from the appliance; there is arisk of electric shock!
3. Do not immerse the appliance and the power cord in liquids, do
not expose to rain or humidity and use water only for cooking in
accordance with this operating manual.
4. The appliance must not be used close to water, in bathrooms,
showers or close to pools, where it might fall in water or water may
splash the product.
5. Do not bend the power cord over the edge of atable or other sharp
edges, do not twist it or leave it in the vicinity of hot surfaces.
6. Always use the appliance on alevel, stable surface to prevent it from
tipping over and to prevent spillage of hot liquids. Do not use the
product in sinks, dripping o areas and other places with uneven
surface.

7. Do not put the appliance in places where it could be exposed to
high temperatures from stoves, radiators, gas appliances, etc.
8. Do not place the appliance on top of electrical or gas stoves and
ovens.
9. If you do not use the appliance, switch it o and unplug it from
power. Disconnect the power cord by pulling the plug – never by
pulling the power cord.
10.Never connect or switch on the appliance without a properly
inserted cooking vessel in the appliance body.
11.Do not switch the appliance on when the container is empty.
12.Do not immerse the base in water or pour liquid into the body of
the cooker. Only the cooking vessel is designed for liquids.
13.Lift the lid carefully and incline so that the leaking steam is away
from you or scalding may occur. Allow the water from the lid to drip
only into the cooking container, not in the body of the appliance.
14.Check the power cord, the plug and whole appliance regularly
for any damage. If you nd any damage stop using the appliance
immediately and contact the service centre.
15.Do not use adamaged or broken lid or cooking vessel.
16.Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than it is designed
for.
17.Do not use outside.
18.The appliance should not be left unattended when in operation.
19.Store the appliance inside in adry place.
20.Do not try to repair or modify the appliance or change its parts.
There are no parts inside repairable by the user.
21.Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing it.
22.Do not place other objects on the appliance, do not insert foreign
objects in the openings and do not use it close to walls, drapes, etc.
23.The appliance warms up during operation. Do not cover any
openings. Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handles and
buttons.When you handle parts of the appliance when in operation,
use suitable utensils and oven mitts.
24.Do not try to carry ahot appliance.

25.Be careful, the steam escaping from the appliance is very hot! If
steam escapes from the valve, keep the appliance in safe distance
from yourself to avoid being burned.
26.Do not switch the appliance on if it lies on the side or is upside
down.
27.Using accessories and attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer may endanger persons and property.
28.This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas,
including:
• kitchenettes in shops, oces and other work places
• appliances used in the agricultural industry
• by guests in hotels, motels and other residential areas
• in bed and breakfast establishments
29.This appliance may not be plugged in an outlet controlled by
atimer or controlled remotely.
30.ECG is not liable for damage or injury caused by negligence
or improper use. Prior to use do not forget to read carefully all
instructions and information. The external surface of this device
heats up and may cause burns. Do not leave unattended when
children are present.
31.This appliance should not be used by children. Keep the appliance
and its power supply out of reach of children.The appliance may be
used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities
or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or if they
were instructed how to use the appliance safely and understand
potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance.
32.Pressureregulatorsthatallowsteamtoescapeshouldbeperiodically
inspected to ensure that they are not blocked.
33.The appliance must not be opened until the pressure is suciently
reduced.
34.Always keep the lid open when frying or deep frying.
35.Using pressure cooker with aclosed lid without aseal is forbidden.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STARTING
Before rst use
• Read all instructions and important information.
• Remove all packaging, including labels and stickers and wipe the surface with adamp dishwashing cloth.
Make sure that all the parts were supplied in good condition.
• Wash all accessories and the cooking vessel in warm water with asponge. Rinse o the detergent well and
dry everything thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaning products, scrubbers or metal utensils, the non-
stick surface could be damaged. Do not use dishwasher.
• Never immerse the appliance, cable or plug in water.
• Place the pressure cooker on aat, heat resistant and non ammable surface.
Opening, closing and removing the lid
Opening the lid
If the lid is closed (g. 1), turn the lid by the handle 2clockwise (g. 2) and lift the lid in vertical position (g. 3).

Closing the lid
If the lid is open (g. 4), close it by the handle (g. 5) and turn the lid counterclockwise (g. 6).

Removal of the lid
Turn the closed lid clockwise (g. 7) open the lid using both hand in the height of 15 cm (g. 8), turn the lid
counterclockwise (g. 9) and move the lid upwards (g. 10) for removal.

While turning keep the lid open 15 cm above the edge of the cooker and then smoothly remove the lid. The
hinged lid has to completely come out of the groove on the cooker‘s body.
Assembling the lid
Put the lid back using both hands (g. 11) and opened in the height of 15 cm above the edge of the cooker turn
it clockwise (g. 12). Then close the lid (g. 13) and turn counterclockwise (g. 14).

While turning keep the lid 15 cm above the edge of the cooker. Hinge on the lid must go completely into the
groove on the body of the cooker.
Using the cooker
Turn and open the lid of the cooker (g. 15 and 16).

Remove the inner vessel and place food in it. The total amount of the inserted food must not exceed / of the
height of the inner vessel (g. 17).The total amount of foods which gain volume easily (e.g. legumes) must not
exceed / of the height of the inner vessel. (g. 19). Do not use the inner vessel to rinse the food. Rinse foods
such as rice or legumes under running water in astrainer.

Warning: The total amount of food must not exceed the mark MAX or maximum allowed amount of
oil 3 l.
The minimum amount of food is determined by the MIN mark. It is always necessary to ll the
vessel up to the mark to avoid damage to the appliance or the vessel.
The total amount of food you can cook in apressure cooker (6 l) is 12 cups. With most foods the amount of
water and raw food is in the ratio 1:1. When cooking porridge the ratio of water and oatmeal is 8:1. Of course,
with dierent foods ratio may vary slightly, and based on experience and taste, you can adjust the water and
raw food ratio.
Before putting the inner vessel back into the pressure cooker, clean the surface of the heater, the outer surface
and the bottom of the vessel, and make sure that nothing is stuck on the surfaces. By rotating the inner vessel
after inserting it into the pressure cooker, make sure that the inner vessel is properly connected to the surface
of the heater (Figures 20, 21).
The vessel must be properly seated in the pot, otherwise the appliance will not work properly and
damage could occur.

Close the lid. Before closing check if the seal is properly inserted 9and slightly turn the anti-locking shield 7,
to make sure that it is properly attached to the steel ring. Close the lid by turning it counterclockwise and turn
until you hear“snap” (g. 22, 23).

When using the increased pressure function the pressure valve must be sealed, set the pressure valve
control 1in the position closed, the arrow must point against the seal symbol (g. 24).
When using the cooker without the increased pressure function, the steam must freely escape through
the pressure valve, the arrow must point against the steam escape symbol (g. 25).

Symbols on the display
The display shows the following symbols:
Selecting abeep – Press the Time (time) and Temperature (temperature)
buttons at the same time to select the volume level 1 to 4.
Delayed start mode.
If the delayed start is activated, the countdown time is running on the
display.
Note: You can set the delayed start mode only in some programs, see
the Program table.
Time setting indicator. The indicator ashes while being set.
Temperature setting indicator. The indicator ashes while the
temperature is being set.
Note: Temperature setting mode is possible to set only for some
program, see the Program table.
View time information. Displays the preset time and countdown time
during meal preparation or delayed start, or the length of time that the
food is kept by the“Keep warm”program.

Fry: For the cooking fried cheeses, schnitzels, mushrooms, meatballs, cauliower and other foods, or frying
chips, croquettes or American potatoes.
Rice: Cooking of risottos and pilafs or separate side dishes.
Multicook: Cooking meals without pressure, with the option of setting time, temperature and delayed start.
Soup: Cooking soups and stocks.
Chef: Cooking meals with pressure and time setting and delayed start.
Stew: Cooking stewed vegetables, meats and sauces.
Porridge: Cooking oatmeal, rice paste, etc.
Crispy: To cook baked meals such as baked pasta, potatoes with meat, vegetables with cheese, moussaka, etc.
Pizza: Cooking savory cakes and pizza.
Steam: Suitable for cooking vegetable dishes or cooking dumplings. In this way of food preparation
asubstantial amount of avor ingredients and water-soluble vitamins and trace elements remain in food.
Cake: Baking sponge cakes.
Jam: Cooking marmalades, ketchups or chutney.
Yoghurt: Making home made yoghurt.
Omelette: Making egg omelettes.
Slow stew and cook/Slow stew: Preparing food just below the boiling point without using the increased
pressure function, suitable for many dierent kinds of dishes.
Beans: To cook legumes.
Gelatine: Cooking llings for aspic and jellied meats.

Pressure cooker functions
Delayed start
Use the delayed start function to delay the start of aselected program. The default delayed start time is 24
hours. Use the button to set dierent time.
Note: The minimum time of delayed start is 5 minutes, maximum time of delayed start is 24 hours.
Select the program using the control knob . Start programs Fry, Rice, Multicook, Soup and Chef by
pressing an icon directly on the display.
Press the delayed start button, the symbol of delayed start appears on the display . Set the delay using the
control knob. You can change the interval by 1 minute. Turn the control knob to add or reduce the time. Press
repeatedly the button“Time”to skip between setting of minutes and hours.
When you press the button Start the time countdown starts. The display shows the icon of delayed start
and time countdown.
Note: After the countdown starts, it is not possible to change any of the set values. If you need to make any
changes to the setting at this time, you must rst cancel the program by using the CANCEL button and
set the entire program again.
Note: Changing the time or temperature setting can only be done during the heating or cooking process. In
this mode, you do not have to run the program again using the“Start” button. The program will start by
itself in about 10 seconds.
Notes
• The cooking time is not included in the delayed start time.
• You cannot use the delayed start function for Fry , Omelette and Jam programs.
• Do not leave the ingredients in the pressure cooker for more than 12 hours, some foods might spoil. When
planning adelayed start, consider the properties of the raw foods.
• Please keep in mind that after the delayed start time passes, some programs only start when the operating
temperature is reached.
• Do not use the function “Delay” for recipes with perishable ingredients, like milk products, eggs, etc.
Time setting function for cooking
Using the icon“Time”you can select the time of cooking the food, see the“Program table”.
Press the time setting button , the symbol of the time setting function starts ashing on the display and
the preset time of cooking . Turn the rotary knob to add or reduce the time by individual minutes or
whole hours. Pressing the“Time”icon repeatedly skips between entering minutes or hours.
Keeping the food warm
The keep warm function keeps the cooked meal warm. Maximum keep warm time is 24 hours. The keep warm
function will automatically start when cooking is complete, except for Frying and Yoghurt programs. Once the
Yoghurt program has been completed, it is possible to start the keep warm function manually, but it is not
possible to program this function.
If the cooking program is followed by the keep warm function, the display shows “WARM”. The display shows
the time the food is kept in the keep warm mode.
If the “WARM” message is not shown on the display, after the program has nished, the keep warm function
will not start, see “Program table”.

Cancelling the keep warm function
After completing the keep warm function, you can cancel the keep warm function by pressing the button
. The function is cancelled and the “WARM” message disappears from the display. You restart the keep
warm function by pressing again the button .
Attention
Although it is possible to set up a24-hour keep warm function, do not leave the nished food in the pressure
cooker until it can spoil.
Heating food
If you need to heat up the food, simply press the button without starting any cooking program. The
“WARM”message appears and the food starts heating up. When the heating is done, switch o the function by
pressing again the button .
Cancelling afunction or aprogram
Press the button to cancel the selected program or function.
Volume control
When you press the buttons and in the same time, you set the volume of the beep, the indicator
ashes on the display. When you enter settings, use the control knob to change the value from levels 0–4.
The set value will be shown on the display.
Cooking instructions
• Open the lid – turn the lid clockwise and lift it.
• Remove the inner vessel from the multifunctional pressure cooker.
• Place the ingredients and the necessary amount of water into the vessel, but keep to the minimum amount
of food given by the MIN line, do not overll the container above the MAX mark or the maximum amount
of 3 litres of oil.
Cooking without pressure
Use one of the following programs to cook without increased pressure: Fry, Omelette, cake, Slow cook, Jam,
Yoghurt, Crispy, Pizza or Multicook.
You can leave the lid of the pressure cooker open or close it, depending on the program and the cooking
recipe.
If you close the lid:
• Check if the seal is properly inserted. Using the pressure cooker with closed lid and without the seal
is not allowed.
• Close the lid by the handle and turn it counterclockwise until the locking pin clicks into the body of the
cooker. Set the valve control in the position “open” (the arrow must be against the escape steam symbol,
see g. 25).
• Use the control knob to select the required program, the program indicator appears on the display.
• The default values of temperature and time are shown on the display.
• The “REHEAT” message shows on the display until the operating temperature is reached. Once the
temperature is reached the countdown starts. The message “REHEAT” is replaced by the message
“COOKING”.
• Once the program is complete the beep sounds and the keep warm function starts (except for the Fry and
Yoghurt programs). The display shows the message “WARM”.
After nishing the meal preparation, disconnect the multifunctional pressure cooker from the power supply.

Cooking with increased pressure
You can use the following programs for cooking with increased pressure: Soup, Stew, Porridge, Steam, Chef,
Rice, Legumes and Gelatin.
Cooking with increased pressure:
• Check if the seal is properly inserted. Using the pressure cooker with closed lid and without the seal
is not allowed.
• Close the lid by the handle and turn counterclockwise until the locking pins clicks into the body of the
cooker. Set the valve control in the position “closed” (the arrow must be against the seal symbol, see g.
24).
• Use the control knob to select the required program, the program indicator appears on the display.
• The default values of temperature and time are shown on the display.
• The display shows the message“REHEAT”until the operating temperature is reached. Once the temperature
is reached the countdown starts. The message“REHEAT”is replaced by the message“STARTING PRESSURE”.
• Once the correct pressure in the vessel has been reached, the red pressure indicator is pushed up and the
safety pin locks the lid.
• Once the program is completed, abeep sounds and the keep warm function starts. The message “WARM”
appears on the display.
• After nishing the meal preparation, disconnect the multifunctional pressure cooker from the power
supply. It is necessary to remove the increased pressure, which is inside the multifunctional pressure
cooker after cooking is nished. By repeatedly turning the valve to the “open” position (the arrow must
be against the steam escape symbol), slowly let out the steam from inside the cooker until the pressure
drops to normal.
Warning: Be careful, the steam escaping from the cooker is very hot! Once the pressure inside the cooker
drops, the steam stops escaping, the red pressure indicator goes down and the locking pin releases
the lid. Then you can open the lid. Never open the lid by force.
Notes
• Based on your experience, you can adjust the temperature and cooking time of individual meals.
• Always remove the frying basket when you nish deep frying. Do not leave it immersed in the vessel with
oil.
WARNING: ALWAYS LEAVE THE LID OPEN WHEN FRYING OR DEEP FRYING.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always disconnect the plug from the electric outlet before cleaning the multifunctional pressure cooker!
• Always let the cooker cool before doing any cleaning and maintenance.
• We do not recommend washing it in the dishwasher. Do not use aggressive cleaners, they may cause stains
or other damage to the product.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, wires or wire brushes or sanding sponges when washing the appliance and
accessories, or the surface will be damaged.
• Prevent water getting into the body of the appliance!
• Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or other liquids.
T he body of the appliance and the upper part of the lid
• Clean the body and the lid of the appliance carefully, using wet cloth and dry it thoroughly.
• Carefully remove the plastic condensed water container located under the lid hinge in the body of the
cooker. Rinse it and return it.
The cooking vessel and the inner part of the lid
1. Remove the aluminium cover with the seal to reach the pressure valve mechanism and oating indicator.

2. Wash the cooking vessel 0, aluminium cover 8and the aluminium cover seal 9in warm water with
detergent. Rinse o the detergent well and dry everything thoroughly.
3. Remove carefully the valve 1and disassemble the cover of the pressure valve mechanism 7. Clean it in
warm water with detergent and rinse it under running water, dry it and replace it.
4. Clean the oating pressure indicator 4and its seal.
Accessories
• Wash all accessories in warm water with detergent.
• Rinse o the detergent well and dry everything thoroughly.
Remove the inner aluminium cover from the lid 8and rinse it thoroughly. Remove the circular seal 9, wash it
thoroughly with water and dry. Then replace the seal.

TROUBLESHOOTING

No indicator is lit. The appliance is not on. Check, if the power supply cable is properly
plugged in and that the electric outlet is
