If you need to use your filtration box without any activate coal filter, you have to equip it with a kit for use without coal
filter, P/N CAR50. The ventilation outlet has to be connected to the outside. It is situated on the top of the filtration box. To
evacuate the vapors, you need to connect this outlet, thanks to a connecting sleeve diam. 100 mm (P/N CHJ, not
provided) and flexible sheath diam. 100 mm (P/N KL100, not provided) to the outside. To fix the connecting sleeve, use
the self-tapping screws.
Commissioning
Your filtration box has to be installed, used and maintained as to guarantee the users’ protection.
Hour counter
When you first use your filtration box, and after every power failure, it is necessary to adjust the hour counter located in
the upper part, on the left, in front of the box. In order to do so please follow the below procedure :
▪Press the PROG button, the left number flashes
▪Press + or - as to settle 60,
▪Press the PROG button, the middle number flashes
▪Press + or - as to settle 00
▪Press the PROG button, the right number flashes
▪Press + or - as to settle 00
The hour counter will count down automatically from the time when the on/off switch has been activated
To setup the hour counter, your filtration box has to be connected to the electrical power grid BUT the on/off
switch has to be turned off.
Once the on/off switch has been turned on, you need to press the “STOP” button of the hour counter, as to stop it.
N.B. : The interruption of the hour counter can only be done manually.
In accordance with the standard NF X 15-211, you have to control the saturation of your activate coal filter every 60
hours. The hour counter will warn you every 60 hours, thanks to a sound signal.
As to check the saturation of your activate coal filter, you have to use the manual pump and the suitable
reactive tubes. Please contact us in order to find the suitable reactive tubes for your chemicals.
Your filtration box is provided with a silent fan of 220 volts - 50 Hz. You have to connect your filtration box to the power
outlet 220-240 volts - 50 Hz, then push the on/off switch to turn on the ventilation system.
In order to check the presence of your activate coal filter, look through the little window for the control. You must see an
etiquette with a yellow, green or orange color on the filter. This color coding allows to determine the type of coal used in
your filter.
