Edimax WP-S1000 is a Wireless Projector Server that can connects to any projector via a
standard VGA interface. WP-S1000 allows multiple users one-click access wirelessly to a
projector for hassle-free, cable-free of presentations. Beside, WP-S1000 provides many

Plug and Show (PnS) Installation Software
WP-S1000 adopts a new technology “Plug-and-Show”, which let users just plug the USB dongle
directly to install and setup the software. Presenters don’t need to click any button or icon to run the
software installation. WP-S1000 also provides another installation way. Users connect to the device
via browsers and click on the software icon for the installation.
Real Time Video Streaming Playback**
WP-S1000 has the ability to deliver real time animation screens for XGA and WXGA resolutions in
32-bit color. It also supports playback function for popular video streaming format in MPEG1, MPEG2
and MPEG4.
Embedded access point for wireless connection
WP-S1000 acts as a wireless access point (IEEE802.11b/g), so multiple users can connect directly
to the projector via a wireless connection. The wireless connections is used to solve VGA cable-
swapping problem when multiple users use the projector simultaneously.
Session Login Code Security for Accessing Projector
WP-S1000 supports dynamic login codes to protect presentation contents from other unauthorized
users. During presentations, the wireless transmission data also is protected by WEP64/128 bit
encryption.
Friendly Web-Based User Interface
WP-S1000 is a plug-and-play device which is easily installed and used for administrators and
presenters. In the conference meeting, the moderator can switch to the next presenter just click a
button.
