Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
Alle Tätigkeiten, an und mit diesem Gerät dürfen nur insoweit ausgeführt werden, wie sie in
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben sind.
Falls Sie das Produkt einmal an eine andere Person weitergeben möchten, legen Sie bitte
diese Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten
Spannung übereinstimmt bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
Personen (einschließlich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physischen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ihrer nerfahrenheit oder
nkenntnis nicht in der Lage sind, das Gerät sicher zu benutzen, sollten

Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, da das
Gerät keinen An-/Aus-Schalter besitzt.
Bereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel zu, die zum Backen und zum Verzehr geeignet sind.
Die antihaftbeschichteten Platten reinigen Sie am besten mit einem weichen und
feuchten Tuch. Benutzen Sie keine metallischen, spitzen und kratzenden Hilfsmittel. Das
Gehäuse kann man ebenfalls mit einem weichen feuchten Tuch mit etwas Spülmittel
reinigen.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates
Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.

Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen

GEB AUCHSANWEISUNG
•Vor der ersten Benutzung wischen Sie die Backflächen mit einem feuchten Tuch ab, um
Staub oder Verpackungsreste zu entfernen.
•Fetten Sie die Backflächen leicht ein.
•Nach dem Anschließen des Gerätes an das Netz werden die rote (3) und grüne (2)
Kontrolllampe auf dem Oberteil leuchten und das Gerät beginnt zu heizen. Der
Regelknopf (4) sollte hierbei in der Stellung „6“ stehen.
•Während des Aufheizens sollte das Gerät geschlossen bleiben, um einen unnötigen
Wärmeverlust zu vermeiden. Eventuell auftretender Geruch oder Rauch ist bei
Erstbenutzung normal und verliert sich nach kurzer Zeit.
•Nach Erreichen der Backtemperatur schaltet das Thermostat die Heizung ab und die
grüne Kontrolllampe (2) schaltet ab. Jetzt können Sie mit dem eigentlichen Backvorgang
beginnen.
•Füllen Sie den Waffelteig in die Mitte des Waffelautomaten und schließen Sie den Deckel.
Drücken Sie den Deckel einen Moment fest herunter, damit sich der Teig gleichmäßig
verteilt. Füllen Sie nicht zuviel Teig ein, dieser läuft ansonsten an den Seiten heraus.
•Backen Sie die Waffeln je nach gewünschten Bräunungsgrad. Sie können dazu am
Regelknopf stufenlose Einstellungen zwischen „1“ und „6“ wählen und auch die
Backzeiten variieren. Wenn die Waffel fertig ist, nehmen Sie diese bitte mit einem
Kunststoffspachtel heraus. Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder spitzen Gegenstände, da
ansonsten die Beschichtung der Backfläche beschädigt werden kann.
•Die Arbeitstemperatur wird durch das Thermostat gesteuert. Jedes weitere Aufheizen wird
durch Aufleuchten der grünen Kontrolllampe angezeigt.
•Bei Bedarf können auch niedrigere Backendtemperaturen mittels Regelknopf eingestellt
werden. Der Regelbereich liegt zwischen „ 1“ und „6“.
•Nach Beendigung des Backens ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
HINWEISE ZU EINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
•Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz und lassen Sie es abkühlen bevor Sie es reinigen.
•Reinigen Sie die Außen- und Innenseite des Gerätes nur mit einem Tuch oder Schwamm.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Feuchtigkeit, Öl oder Fett in das Gerät dringt.
•Reinigen Sie niemals mit metallenen Gegenständen und verwenden Sie keine Schleif- und
Scheuermittel.
•Reinigen Sie das Gerät nie unter fließendem Wasser. Tauchen Sie es nicht in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten.



Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder

Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens

Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum mtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als auch Reinigung, Wartung
oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig!

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
When giving your appliance to a third person, make sure to give him/her the instruction
manual as well.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never use the
appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, all repairs should
be made by a competent qualified electrician

Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, make use of the handles.
Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire might occur.
Be careful not to scratch the special coating of the baking plates with sharp or metallic
objects, as you might get little pieces of this coating into the food. se a classical wooden
spatula or a heat-resistant plastic one.
The baking plates should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool, scouring
pads or abrasive cleaners. To clean the housing, a damp cloth and some mild detergent
can be used.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use, especially since it is not equipped with
an on/off switch.
Only use the appliance for food that is supposed to be cooked.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.

UK STYLE PLUG WI ING INST UCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp
plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour
coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).
HOW TO BAKE PE FECT WAFFLES
•Before the first use, wipe the baking plates with a damp cloth to remove all packaging
residues.
•Lightly brush the baking plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil.
•After having plugged in the appliance, the red pilot light (3) and the green ready light (2)
situated on the top cover will illuminate and the appliance will start heating. Put the
regulation knob (4) on the "6" position.
•Leave the appliance closed during heating in order not to avoid a waste of energy. A
smell might occur when using the appliance for the first time. This will disappear after a
short while.
•When the temperature is reached, the appliance stops heating and the green pilot light
(2) goes out. Now you can start the baking process.
•Pour dough evenly onto the middle of the bottom baking plate but not all the way to the
edges. Press the lid down in order to spread the dough evenly on the baking plates. Do
not overfill as dough might come out of the appliance.
•Bake until golden brown. The regulation knob allows you to gradually select a position
anywhere in between the „1“ and „6“ positions and to vary the baking times. Remove the
waffles with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use scratching objects, as these might
damage the non-stick coating.
•The operating temperature is regulated by the thermostat. The green pilot light comes on
every time the appliance will start heating.
•If necessary, you can also set a lower temperature with the regulation knob. The
regulation field is between 1 and 6.
•nplug the appliance after use.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
•Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the waffle maker is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
•Clean the cooled baking plates with a damp cloth or towel to remove crumbs and
absorb excess oil.
•Do not use abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. You do not
need to take the appliance apart for cleaning.
•To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth. On no account
must the appliance be immersed in water.



and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if
attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held
responsible in case of accidents.
If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete
appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only
be valid if the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs
repair.
Or send the appliance cleaned, well packed and with a short, easily readable description of
the default as well as the receipt freight prepaid to our customer service in our firm in Bad
Blankenburg.
In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of
worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!

Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.

vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon doux et un détergent doux.
Débranchez votre appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas en utilisation d’autant qu’il ne comporte pas
d’interrupteur.
Ne faites cuire que des aliments appropriés à la cuisson et propres à la consommation.

Votre appareil ne doit jamais être mis en fonctionnement par le biais d’une minuterie
extérieure ou d’un autre système de commande à distance séparé.

danger. Dans tous les cas, veuillez retourner l'appareil auprès de ce service.
UTILISATION
•Avant la première utilisation, frottez les plaques avec un chiffon légèrement humide pour
les nettoyer et ainsi éliminer les résidus d'emballage.
•Enduisez légèrement les plaques de cuisson de matière grasse.
•Après avoir branché l'appareil, le témoin lumineux rouge (3) et le témoin vert (2) situés sur
le dessus de l'appareil s'allument et l'appareil se met à chauffer. Placez le bouton de
réglage (4) sur "6".
•Pendant le préchauffage l'appareil doit rester fermé afin d'éviter une perte de chaleur.
Lors de la première utilisation, vous pourrez constater une odeur ou de la fumée. Ceci est
normal et disparaîtra rapidement.
•Lorsque l'appareil a atteint la température adéquate, le témoin lumineux vert (2) s'éteint.
Vous pouvez maintenant procéder à la cuisson.
•Déposez un peu de pâte au milieu de l’appareil et refermez-le. Serrez la poignée un
instant de façon à ce que la pâte se répartisse de manière uniforme sur la plaque de
cuisson. Ne mettez pas trop de pâte sinon celle-ci risque de déborder sur les côtés.
•Faites cuire selon vos goûts. Le thermostat vous permet de choisir une température
comprise entre "1" et "6" et de modifier ainsi le temps de cuisson. Lorsque la gaufre est
cuite, retirez-la de l’appareil à l’aide d’une spatule en bois ou en plastique. N'utilisez pas
d'ustensiles griffants car ceux-ci pourraient abîmer le revêtement antiadhésif.
•La température est réglée par le thermostat. C'est pourquoi le témoin lumineux vert
s'allumera à chaque fois que l’appareil commencera à chauffer.
•Si vous le désirez, vous pouvez aussi régler la température à l'aide du bouton de réglage.
La plage de réglage va de "1" à "6".
•Lorsque vous avez terminé d’utiliser l’appareil, débranchez-le.
NETTOYAGE
•Débranchez l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
•Nettoyez les parties intérieures et extérieures avec un chiffon ou une éponge humide
après les avoir laissé refroidir. Assurez-vous que la graisse ou tout autre liquide n'entre pas
dans l'appareil.
•N’utilisez pas d’ustensiles métalliques ou pointus car ils pourraient endommager le
revêtement antiadhésif de l’appareil.
•Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.



entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations

l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que le ticket de caisse. Les réclamations
introduites dans le cadre de la garantie sont uniquement valables si le ticket de caisse ou la
copie d’une facture de réparation éventuelle est joint(e).
Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description
du défaut en majuscules à notre service après-vente dans notre firme à Bad Blankenburg en
joignant également votre ticket de caisse.
Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant. L'échange des accessoires soumis à
l'usure ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas couverts
par la garantie et l'échange de ces pièces sera donc payant!

Let erop dat u de speciale bekleding van de bakplaten niet schramt, vermits u hiervan
stukjes in uw voedsel zou kunnen vinden. Gebruik een klassieke houten spatel of een
warmtebestendige plastic spatel.
De bakplaten reinigt u het beste met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen metalen
schuurspons of schuurmiddelen. De behuizing kan u ook met een vochtige doek en een
mild detergent reinigen.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het toestel niet in werking is, vermits het geen
schakelaar bevat.
Kook enkel eetwaren geschikt om te koken en voor consumptie.
w toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een externe timer of een
separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.

•Veeg de bakplaten voor het eerste gebruik schoon met een vochtige doek en droog
deze dan af om stof of verpakkingsrestjes te verwijderen.
•Vet beide bakplaten in met boter, margarine of bakolie.
•Nadat u de stekker in het stopcontact heeft gestoken, zullen het rode controlelampje (3)
en het groene controlelampje (2) die zich op de bovenkant van het toestel bevinden
gaan branden, en zal het toestel opwarmen. Plaats de regelknop (4) op stand 6.
•Laat het toestel tijdens het opwarmen gesloten zodat er geen warmteverlies optreedt.
Tijdens het eerste gebruik zal de antiaanbaklaag gaan roken en kan er wat geur
vrijkomen. Dit is niet schadelijk en zal na korte tijd verdwijnen.
•Wanneer de gewenste temperatuur is bereikt, stopt het toestel met opwarmen en gaat
het groene controlelampje (2) uit. kunt nu wafels beginnen bakken.
•Giet het deeg op de onderste bakplaat. Giet niet te veel deeg, want anders zou het
langs de zijkanten uit het toestel kunnen lopen. Druk het deksel een kort ogenblik naar
beneden om het deeg gelijkmatig over de bakplaten te verdelen.
•Bak de wafels naar believen. kunt met de regelknop geleidelijk een stand van “1” tot
“6” kiezen en de baktijd variëren. Wanneer de wafels gebakken zijn, open dan het deksel
en gebruik een houten of hittebestendige plastic spatel om de wafels uit het apparaat te
halen. Gebruik nooit scherpe of metalen voorwerpen, want deze zouden de
antiaanbaklaag van de bakplaten kunnen beschadigen.
•De temperatuur wordt door de thermostaat geregeld. Daarom zal het groene
controlelampje oplichten telkens het toestel opnieuw opwarmt.
• kunt de temperatuur indien nodig aan de hand van de regelknop aanpassen. De
temperatuur kan tussen “1” en “6” ingesteld worden.
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact na gebruik.
EINIGING
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt.
•De binnen-en buitenkant kunt u met een vochtige doek of spons reinigen. Verwijder de
deegresten tussen de groeven. Zorg ervoor dat er geen vet of andere vloeistof in het toestel
sijpelt.
•Gebruik nooit metalen voorwerpen of schuurmiddelen om het toestel te reinigen, want dat
zou de bakplaten kunnen beschadigen.
•Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of enige andere vloeistof.



waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er
pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet
aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking

Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare
beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek
in Bad Blankenburg.
Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!
