WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
 Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
 Alle Handlungen, an und mit diesem Gerät dürfen nur insoweit ausgeführt werden, wie sie
in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben sind.
 Falls Sie das Produkt mal einer anderen Person weitergeben möchten, legen Sie diese
Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
 Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten
Spannung übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
 Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät niemals beim Gebrauch unbeaufsichtigt.
 Personen (einschließlich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physischen,

könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät, oder knicken Sie diese nicht.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht mit den heißen Teilen des Gerätes in
Kontakt kommt.
 Beachten Sie, dass die Platten des Gerätes und das Gerät selbst beim Gebrauch sehr heiß
werden. Benutzen Sie das Gerät mit der entsprechenden Vorsicht. Benutzen Sie die Griffe.
 Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
 Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät erkaltet ist, bevor Sie es reinigen und wegräumen.
 Die antihaftbeschichteten Platten reinigen Sie am besten mit einem weichen und
feuchten Tuch. Benutzen Sie keine metallischen, spitzen und kratzenden Hilfsmittel. Das
Gehäuse kann man ebenfalls mit einem weichen feuchten Tuch mit etwas Spülmittel
reinigen.
 Benutzen Sie einen Holzspatel oder einen wärmebeständigen Plastikspatel, um die
Nahrung aus dem Gerät zu nehmen.



 Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, da das
Gerät keinen Ein-/Aus-Schalter besitzt.
 Bereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel zu, die zum Backen und zum Verzehr geeignet sind.

Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen
Kundendienst.
GE RAUCHSANWEISUNG
• Vor der ersten Benutzung wischen Sie die Backflächen mit einem feuchten Tuch ab, um
Staub oder Verpackungsreste zu entfernen.
• Fetten Sie die Backflächen leicht ein.
• Nach dem Anschließen des Gerätes an das Netz wird die rote Kontrolllampe (3) auf dem
Oberteil leuchten und das Gerät beginnt zu heizen. Der Regelknopf (2) sollte hierbei in der
Stellung „MAX“ stehen.
• Während des Aufheizens sollte das Gerät geschlossen bleiben, um einen unnötigen
Wärmeverlust zu vermeiden. Eventuell auftretender Geruch oder Rauch ist bei
Erstbenutzung normal und verliert sich nach kurzer Zeit.
• Nach Erreichen der Backtemperatur schaltet das Thermostat die Heizung ab und die
grüne Kontrolllampe (4) leuchtet auf. Jetzt können Sie mit dem eigentlichen Backvorgang
beginnen.
• Füllen Sie den Waffelteig in die Mitte des Waffelautomaten und schließen Sie den Deckel.
Drücken Sie den Deckel einen Moment fest herunter, damit sich der Teig gleichmäßig
verteilt. Füllen Sie nicht zuviel Teig ein, dieser läuft ansonsten an den Seiten heraus.
• Backen Sie die Waffeln je nach gewünschten Bräunungsgrad. Sie können dazu am
Regelknopf stufenlose Einstellungen zwischen „MAX“ und „MIN“ wählen und auch die
Backzeiten variieren. Wenn die Waffel fertig ist, nehmen Sie diese bitte mit einem
Kunststoffspachtel heraus. Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder spitzen Gegenstände, da
ansonsten die Beschichtung der Backfläche beschädigt werden kann.
• Die Arbeitstemperatur wird durch das Thermostat gesteuert. Jedes weitere Aufheizen wird
durch Abschalten der grünen Kontrolllampe angezeigt.
• Bei Bedarf können auch niedrigere Backendtemperaturen mittels Regelknopf eingestellt
werden. Der Regelbereich liegt zwischen „ MIN“ und „MAX“.
• Nach Beendigung des Backens ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
HINWEISE ZUR REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz und lassen Sie es abkühlen bevor Sie es reinigen.
• Reinigen Sie die Außen- und Innenseite des Gerätes nur mit einem Tuch oder Schwamm.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine Feuchtigkeit, Öl oder Fett in das Gerät dringt.
• Reinigen Sie niemals mit metallenen Gegenständen und verwenden Sie keine Schleif- und
Scheuermittel.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nie unter fließendem Wasser. Tauchen Sie es nicht in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten.



Im Garantiefall geben Sie ihrem Händler das vollständige Gerät. Die Garantie gilt nur in
Verbindung mit dem dazugehörigen Kassenbon und der Garantiekarte bzw. der Kopie einer
eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme der Garantie unbedingt mit
vorzulegen sind/ist.

Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum mtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen (z.B. Motorkohlen, Knethaken,
Antriebsriemen, Ersatzfernbedienungen, Ersatzzahnbürsten, Leuchtmittel, usw.), als auch
Reinigung, Wartung oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen nicht unter die Garantie
und sind deshalb kostenpflichtig!
NACH A LAUF DER GARANTIEZEIT
Reparaturen nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit können kostenpflichtig von entsprechendem
Fachpersonal oder Reparaturservice ausgeführt werden.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
 Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
 When giving your appliance to a third person, make sure to give him/her the instruction
manual as well.
 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
 Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
 People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
 Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
 From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never use the
appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, all repairs should
be made by a competent qualified electrician(*). Never use the appliance if it shows
visible damage.

 Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
 Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.

 Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, make use of the handles.
 Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc... when it is in use, as a fire might occur.
 Be careful not to scratch the special coating of the baking plate with sharp or metallic
objects, as you might get little pieces of this coating into the food. se a classical wooden
spatula or a heat resistant plastic one.
 The baking plates should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool, scouring
pads or abrasive cleaners. To clean the housing, a damp cloth and some mild detergent
can be used.
 Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use, especially since it is not equipped with
an on/off switch.
 Only use the appliance for food that is supposed to be cooked.

UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp
plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour
coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).
HOW TO AKE PERFECT WAFFLES
• Before the first use, wipe the baking plates with a damp cloth to remove all packaging
residues.
• Lightly brush the baking plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil.
• After having plugged in the appliance, the red pilot light (3) situated on the top cover will
illuminate and the appliance will start heating. Put the regulation knob (2) on the "MAX"
position.
• Leave the appliance closed during heating in order not to avoid a waste of energy. A
smell might occur when using the appliance for the first time. This will disappear after a
short while.
• When the temperature is reached, the appliance stops heating and the green pilot light
(4) illuminates. Now you can start the baking process.
• Pour dough evenly onto the middle of the bottom baking plate but not all the way to the
edges. Press the lid down in order to spread the dough evenly on the baking plates. Do
not overfill as dough might come out of the appliance.
• Bake until golden brown. The regulation knob allows you to gradually select a position
anywhere in between the „MAX“ and „MIN“ positions and to vary the baking times.
Remove the waffles with a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use scratching objects, as
these might damage the non-stick coating.
• The operating temperature is regulated by the thermostat. The green pilot light goes off
every time the appliance will start heating.
• If necessary, you can also set a lower temperature with the regulation knob. The
regulation field is between MIN and MAX.
• nplug the appliance after use.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
• Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the waffle maker is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
• Clean the cooled baking plates with a damp cloth or towel to remove crumbs and
absorb excess oil.
• Do not use abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. You do not
need to take the appliance apart for cleaning.
• To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth. On no account
must the appliance be immersed in water.



In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear (e.g.. Motor brushes, dough hooks, driving belts, spare
remote controls, spare toothbrushes, lighting, etc.) as well as cleaning and maintenance or the
exchange of worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!
After the guarantee period
Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.

 Veillez à ne pas griffer le revêtement spécial des plaques de cuisson car vous pourriez
alors retrouver des éclats du revêtement dans la nourriture. tilisez une spatule en bois
classique ou en plastique spécialement étudié pour résister à la chaleur.
 Nettoyez les plaques de cuisson à l’aide d’un chiffon doux humide. N’utilisez pas de paille
de fer, d’éponges à récurer ou de produits abrasifs. Pour nettoyer le corps de l’appareil,
vous pouvez utiliser un chiffon doux et un détergent doux.
 Débranchez votre appareil lorsqu’il n’est pas en utilisation d’autant qu’il ne comporte pas
d’interrupteur.
 Ne faites cuire que des aliments appropriés à la cuisson et propres à la consommation.



Service qualifié compétent: Service après vente du fabricant ou de l'importateur ou une
personne qualifiée, reconnue et habilitée à faire ce genre de réparation afin d'éviter tout
danger. Dans tous les cas, veuillez retourner l'appareil auprès de ce service.
UTILISATION
• Avant la première utilisation, frottez les plaques avec un chiffon légèrement humide pour
les nettoyer et ainsi éliminer les résidus d'emballage.
• Enduisez légèrement les plaques de cuisson de matière grasse.
• Après avoir branché l'appareil, le témoin lumineux rouge (3) situé sur le dessus de
l'appareil s'allume et l'appareil se met à chauffer. Placez le bouton de réglage (2) sur
MAX.
• Pendant le préchauffage l'appareil doit rester fermé afin d'éviter une perte de chaleur.
Lors de la première utilisation, vous pourrez constater une odeur ou de la fumée. Ceci est
normal et disparaîtra rapidement.
• Lorsque l'appareil a atteint la température adéquate, le témoin lumineux vert (4) s'allume.
Vous pouvez maintenant procéder à la cuisson.
• Déposez un peu de pâte au milieu de l’appareil et refermez-le. Serrez la poignée un
instant de façon à ce que la pâte se répartisse de manière uniforme sur la plaque de
cuisson. Ne mettez pas trop de pâte sinon celle-ci risque de déborder sur les côtés.
• Faites cuire selon vos goûts (environ 3 minutes). Le thermostat vous permet de choisir une
température comprise entre MAX et MIN et de modifier ainsi le temps de cuisson. Lorsque
la gaufre est cuite, retirez-la de l’appareil à l’aide d’une spatule en bois ou en plastique.
N'utilisez pas d'ustensiles griffants car ceux-ci pourraient abîmer le revêtement anti-adhésif.
• La température est réglée par le thermostat. C'est pourquoi le témoin lumineux vert
s'éteindra à chaque fois que l’appareil commencera à chauffer.
• Si vous le désirez, vous pouvez aussi régler la température à l'aide du bouton de réglage.
La plage de réglage va de MIN à MAX.
• Lorsque vous avez terminé d’utiliser l’appareil, débranchez-le.
NETTOYAGE
• Débranchez l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
• Nettoyez les parties intérieures et extérieures avec un chiffon ou une éponge humide
après les avoir laissé refroidir. Assurez-vous que la graisse ou tout autre liquide n'entre pas
dans l'appareil.
• N’utilisez pas d’ustensiles métalliques ou pointus car ils pourraient endommager le
revêtement anti-adhésif de l’appareil.
• Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.



détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout autre
usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit a été
modifié ou que des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps, la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.
Pour toute intervention sous garantie, adressez-vous à votre revendeur et retournez-lui
l'appareil complet. La garantie est uniquement valable si la date d'achat et la signature du
vendeur figurent sur la carte de garantie ou si la copie du ticket de caisse ou d'une éventuelle
facture de réparation est jointe.
Il est également possible d'envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec
une courte description du défaut bien lisible avec la mention "Réparation sous garantie" à
notre service après-vente en joignant également votre carte de garantie dûment complétée
ou votre ticket de caisse.
Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant.

ELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
 Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt.
 Wanneer u dit toestel aan iemand geeft, gelieve de gebruiksaanwijzing altijd mee te
geven.

 Let erop dat u de speciale bekleding van de kookplaat niet schramt, vermits u hiervan
stukjes in uw voedsel zou kunnen vinden. Gebruik een klassieke houten spatel of een
warmtebestendige plastiek spatel.
 De bakplaten reinigt u het beste met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen metalen
schuurspons of schuurmiddelen. De behuizing kan u ook met een vochtige doek en een
mild detergent reinigen.
 Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het toestel niet werkt, vermits het geen schakelaar
bevat.
 Kook enkel eetwaren geschikt om te koken en voor consumptie.

GE RUIKSAANWIJZING
• Veeg de bakplaten voor het eerste gebruik met een vochtige doek en droog deze dan
af om verpakkingsrestjes te verwijderen.
• Vet beide bakplaten in met boter.
• Nadat u de stekker in het stopcontact heeft gestoken, zal het rode controlelampje (3) dat
zich op de bovenkant van het toestel bevindt gaan branden, en zal het toestel
opwarmen. Plaats de regelknop (2) op MAX.
• Laat het toestel tijdens het opwarmen gesloten zodat er geen warmteverlies optreedt.
Tijdens het eerste gebruik zal de antiaanbaklaag gaan roken en kan er een geurtje
vrijkomen. Dit is niet schadelijk en zal na korte tijd verdwijnen.
• Wanneer de gewenste temperatuur bereikt is, stopt het toestel met opwarmen en gaat
het groene controlelampje (4) aan. kunt nu wafels beginnen bakken.
• Leg het deeg op de onderste bakplaat. Leg niet te veel deeg, anders zou het langs de
zijkanten uit het toestel kunnen lopen. Druk het deksel een kort ogenblik naar beneden
om het deeg gelijkmatig over de bakplaten te verdelen.
• Bak de wafels naar believen. kunt met de regelknop geleidelijk een positie tussen MAX
en MIN kiezen en de baktijd variëren. Wanneer de wafels gebakken zijn, open het deksel
en gebruik een houten of hittebestendige plastic spatel om de wafels uit het apparaat te
halen. Gebruik nooit scherpe of metalen voorwerpen daar deze de antiaanbaklaag van
de bakplaten zouden kunnen beschadigen.
• De temperatuur wordt door de thermostaat geregeld. Daarom zal het groene
controlelampje uitgaan telkens het toestel opnieuw opwarmt.
• kunt de temperatuur indien nodig aan de hand van de regelknop aanpassen. De
temperatuur kan tussen MIN en MAX ingesteld worden.
• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact na gebruik.
REINIGING
• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt.
• De binnen-en buitenkant kunt u met een vochtige doek of spons reinigen. Verwijder de
deegresten tussen de groeven. Zorg ervoor dat geen vet of andere vloeistof in het toestel
sijpelt.
• Gebruik nooit metalen voorwerpen of schuurmiddelen om het toestel te reinigen, dat zou
de bakplaten kunnen beschadigen.
• Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of enig andere vloeistof.



indien er pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet

Voor herstellingen die door de waarborg gedekt worden, gelieve contact op te nemen met
de verkoper waar u het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig hem het volledige toestel in zijn
oorspronkelijke verpakking samen met uw kasticket/garantiekaart. De garantie geldt enkel
wanneer de aankoopdatum door stempel en handtekening van de verkoper op de
garantiekaart aangeduid is of indien een kopij van het kasticket bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte beschrijving van de defecten
in blokletters met als aantekening "Herstelling onder garantie" samen met de garantiekaart
en/of kasticket naar onze klantendienst.
Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar gratis vervangen.
Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte accessoires.
Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage (bijvoorbeeld motorborstels, kneedhaken,
drijfriemen, vervangafstandsbedieningen, vervangtandenborstels, verlichting enz.) evenals
reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn
worden niet door de garantie gedekt en moeten dus betaald worden.

Na afloop van de garantieperiode
Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
