Use manual of the pressurizing machine
Poli-press EGEO
Note:
Before unpacking Poli-press EGEO check that the package is not damaged or that is has been dropped in
transit.
Read carefully all the instructions before using the machine.
Do not change the wire, the card and don’t use adapters.
Instructions:
1) Remove Poli-press from the box and place it on a smooth and resistant surface.
2) Connect one end of the hose provided to the machine liquid output, located at the rear bottom of the machine, adjusting it with
the seal provided for it. The other end of the hose should be placed in an appropriated drain for the water machine evacuation.
Consider that the hose should never be submerged in water, if not it would tend to absorb the water to the pot.
be very careful with the liquids and the gases that the machine ejects once the cycle is finished, as they are very hot and with
pressure.
3) Connect to the compressor the air inlet, located at the upper rear of the machine (hose connector), with the adequate pressure,
depending on the material you are going to use.
4) Connect the machine to a 220 volts power, with earth connection. (Do not change the wire, the card and don’t use adapters)
5) Open the cover by pushing the knob to the right and enter the work to be performed. Verify that the key on the right side is
upright (closed). Add clean water to pass the level of the work to be done, about 1 to 2 cm. close the container by pushing the
cover to the left until it stops.
6) Turn on the red key. In the display you will see the phrase "PP1" and you will hear a short alarm.
7) Press the "selection" button, indicators will light alternately for cold (green) and hot (yellow) ("f/c").
For cold press "f/c" and then accept
for hot press only accept, the yellow indicator will turn on and in the display you will observe "70" together with the indicator " °c
" to the right of the display.
8) Select the temperature with the buttons "subir" and "bajar". That temperature could be increased to 120 °c. Then press "aceptar"
to confirm.
Immediately after selecting the temperature you will see "35" in the display together with the indicator "time" on the right of the
display.
9) Select the time with the buttons "bajar" y "subir". After doing that press the button start. Know that the time is going to be
discounted once the temperature is the selected one.
In that moment the air is going to enter the pot activating the top sealed. The top couldn’t be opened before the gauge reads zero.
Once the top is sealed the pressure is going to increase, according to the pressure supplied by the compressor.( recommended to be
more than 4 kg/cm2)

10) When the cycle is finished, the alarm will sound and in the display you will observe again the frase "pp1”. Then open the
lateral key, passing the handle to the horizontal position (open), and the machine will dismiss the air and the liquids.
Be careful with the liquid because it is going to be dismissed with the temperature of work and pressure and can cause eventual
burns. In case of burns in the skin (with water or water vapour) or in the eyes, consult a doctor.
11) When the gauge indicates 0, you are being in conditions of removing your work, and the top would be free.
It is suggested to keep clean the pot’s grill, as all the impurities and remains of acrylic could block the flow. In case of happening
this situation or because another reason, the pot has been pressurized and don’t let you open the top, do this:
Press the safety valve by pulling the ring located in the rear of the machine, this would depressurized and can open the top.
"Cancelar" push button:
Pressing this button approximately during 5 seconds, you can cancel the cycle in any moment. This would close the air valve and
reset the machine, marking "pp1" on the display. To open the top, you have to open the lateral key by passing the handle to the
horizontal position and let the liquid and the air drain. Once the gauge is in position "0" you can open the top.
Warning: for an optimal performance, always use compressors that give a pressure not less than 4 kg/cm2
Recommendation: use the safety valve periodically by pulling back the ring to control the correct performance. if you don’t use
the machine for a long time, the scale and rust could block it. DO NOT MAKE ANY ADDITIONAL REGULATION, as the
valve is calibrated in the factory with appropriated instrumental.
Note: it is recommended to use always clean water, keeping the same conditions inside the pot, otherwise you could
damage the good performance of the machine by blocking the ducts and the outlet valve. Look that the hose is not
strangled.
