Diese Gebrauchsanweisung gehört zum Ehrenkind Sprossenbaum. Sie
enthält wichtige Informationen zur Inbetriebnahme und Handhabung. Lies
die Gebrauchsanweisung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise, sorgfältig
durch, bevor du den Ehrenkind Sprossenbaum einsetzt. Die Nichtbeachtung
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder zu
Schäden am Produkt führen. Die Gebrauchsanweisung basiert auf den in
der Europäischen Union und im Vereinigten Königreich gültigen Normen
und Regeln. Beachte im Ausland auch landesspezische Richtlinien und
Gesetze. Bewahre die Gebrauchsanweisung für die weitere Nutzung auf.

Sicherheit
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Produkt ist für Kinder ab 18 Monaten zum Klettern im Innenbereich
konzipiert. Es darf mit maximal 40 kg belastet werden und ist ausschließlich
für den Hausgebrauch bestimmt und nicht für den gewerblichen Bereich
geeignet. Die Benutzung des Produkts ist nur unter unmittelbarer
Aufsicht von Erwachsenen erlaubt. Verwende das Produkt nur wie in
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben. Jede andere Verwendung gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sachschäden oder sogar zu
Personenschäden führen. Der Hersteller oder Händler übernimmt keine
Haftung für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen oder falschen
Gebrauch entstanden sind.

Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG!

Verletzungsgefahr!
Unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem Produkt kann zu ernsten Verletzungen
führen.
• Achte darauf, dass der Sprossenbaum stets durch die vorgesehene
Aufhängung xiert wird.
• Beachte, dass der Sprossenbaum immer nur von einem Kind gleichzeitig
genutzt werden darf.
• Belaste den Sprossenbaum nicht mit mehr als 40 kg.
• Wenn der Sprossenbaum zwischen zwei Spielgeräten als Brücke
verwendet wird, darf seine Oberkante maximal 60 cm hoch sein . Das
entspricht z.B. beim Ehrenkind Kletterdreieck der fünften Sprosse.
• Beaufsichtige die Kinder auf dem Sprossenbaum ununterbrochen.
• Strangulationsgefahr: Achte darauf, dass kletternde Kinder keine
zu lockere Kleidung, Kordelzüge an Kapuzen, Fäustlingschnüre,
Hutschnuren, Schals, Helme, Ponchos oder schweren Halsketten tragen.
• Sichere den Sturzbereich mit einer stoßdämpfenden Matte.
• Stelle den Sprossenbaum nicht an einem Ort mit starker
Sonneneinstrahlung auf. Kinder können beim Spielen Schwindelanfälle
oder Sonnenbrand bekommen.
• Platziere den Sprossenbaum mindestens 2 m in alle Richtungen von
anderen Strukturen oder Hindernissen wie Wänden, Schränken oder
anderen Möbeln entfernt.
• Nutze den Sprossenbaum nur in Kombination mit Ehrenkind Produkten,
die dafür vorgesehen sind.
• Verwende den Sprossenbaum nur in trockenem Zustand.
• Befestige keine anderen Gegenstände wie Springseile, Wäscheleinen
oder Hundeleinen am Sprossenbaum.
• Stelle sicher, dass sich unter dem Sprossenbaum keine anderen
Gegenstände wie Kisten, Spielzeuge oder andere Gegenstände benden.
• Kontrolliere den Sprossenbaum vor jeder Benutzung auf
Verschleißerscheinungen oder Beschädigungen.

und ausreichend stabilen Fläche auf.
• Stelle den Sprossenbaum nicht an den Rand oder an die Kante einer Fläche.
• Verwende den Sprossenbaum nicht mehr, wenn die Holzbauteile des
Sprossenbaums Risse oder Sprünge aufweisen oder sich verformt haben.
Ersetze beschädigte Bauteile nur durch passende Original-Ersatzteile.
Sturzhöhe und Untergrund
WARNUNG!

Verletzungsgefahr!
Ein ungenügend stoßdämpfendes Material kann zu ernsten Verletzungen
führen.
• Stelle den Sprossenbaum auf einen geeigneten, stoßdämpfenden
Untergrund. Dazu zählen: weiche Teppiche, Matratzen (nicht zu dünn,
nicht zu dick), Turn-, Sport- & Yogamatten. Der Untergrund darf nicht zu
weich sein, ansonsten hat der Sprossenbaum keinen festen Stand. Wir
empfehlen dir als Untergrund die Ehrenkind Krabbelmatte.
• Stelle den Sprossenbaum nicht auf harte Oberächen wie Beton, Parkett
oder Laminat. Es kann zu gefährlichen Stürzen kommen.
• Kontrolliere regelmäßig, ob der stoßdämpfende Untergrund richtig
platziert ist.
• Das stoßdämpfende Material muss mindestens 2 m weit in alle
Richtungen über den Rand des Sprossenbaums hinaus ragen. Da
Kinder vom Sprossenbaum fallen oder springen können, schützt das
stoßdämpfende Material vor schweren Verletzungen.

• Achte bei allen Materialien darauf, dass sie gut gepegt und regelmäßig
geprüft werden. Beachte, dass die maximale Fallhöhe für dieses Produkt
60 cm beträgt.
Aufbauanleitung
• Hänge den Sprossenbaum sicher ein und achte darauf, dass er richtig sitzt.
• Soll der Sprossenbaum waagerecht, als Brücke, verwenden werden,
hänge beide Enden des Sprossenbaumes sicher ein. Die Oberkante des
Sprossenbaumes darf dabei maximal 60 cm hoch sein (z.B. bei zwei
Ehrenkind Kletterdreiecken: max. 5. Sprosse).
• Befestige anschließend den Sprossenbaum, durch sorgfältiges schließen
des Sicherungsmechanismus.

• Verwende keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel, Bürsten mit Metall- oder
Nylonborsten sowie scharfe oder metallische Reinigungsgegenstände wie
Messer, harte Spachtel und dergleichen. Diese können die Oberächen
beschädigen.
• Wische das Produkt mit einem trockenen Tuch ab.

Aufbewahrung
• Schütze das Produkt vor Minusgraden. Lass es im Winter nicht in der
Kälte stehen.
• Alle Teile müssen vor dem Aufbewahren vollkommen trocken sein.
Bewahre das Produkt stets an einem trockenen Ort auf.
• Schütze das Produkt vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung.
• Lagere das Produkt für Kinder unzugänglich, sicher verschlossen und bei

Reading and retaining the instruction manual
This instruction manual is part of the Ehrenkind single-stile ladder. It contains
important information on initial set-up and handling. Read the instructions
carefully, especially the safety instructions, before using the Ehrenkind
single-stile ladder. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to serious
injuries or to damage to the product. The instruction manual is based on the
standards and rules applicable in the European Union and United Kingdom.
When abroad, make sure that you also observe country-specic guidelines
and laws. Retain the instruction manual for future reference. If you pass on
the product to another user, make sure that you also include this instruction
manual.

Safety
Intended use
The product is a climbing toy designed for use indoors by children aged 18
months and above. It can carry a maximum load of 40 kg and is intended for
domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial applications. The product
must be used only under direct adult supervision. Use the product only as
described in this instruction manual. Any other use is considered improper
and may lead to material damage or even personal injuries. The manufacturer
or retailer assumes no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect
use.

Safety instructions
WARNING!

Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the product may lead to serious injuries.
• Make sure that the single-stile ladder is always secured using the
provided hardware.
• Ensure that the single-stile ladder is used by no more than one child at
any given time.
• Do not subject the single-stile ladder to loads greater than 40 kg.
• If the rung tree is used as a bridge between two pieces of play
equipment, its top edge must not exceed 60 cm of height. This
corresponds to the fth rung on the Ehrenkind climbing triangle, for
example.
• Children must be supervised at all times while using the single-stile
ladder.
• Risk of strangulation: Make sure that children do not wear overly loose
clothing, hood drawstrings, mitten cords, hat strings, scarves, helmets,
ponchos or heavy necklaces when they are climbing the product.
• Secure the fall area with a shock-absorbing mat.
• Do not place the single-stile ladder in a place exposed to strong sunlight.
Otherwise, children may become dizzy or sunburnt whilst playing.
• Place the single-stile ladder at least 2 m away from other structures or
obstacles, such as walls, cabinets or other furniture.
• Use the single-stile ladder only in combination with Ehrenkind products
that are compatible with it.
• Use the single-stile ladder only when it is dry.
• Do not attach any other objects such as skipping ropes, clothes lines or
dog leads to the single-stile ladder.
• Make sure that there are no other objects under the single-stile ladder,
such as boxes, toys and so on.
• Check the single-stile ladder for signs of wear or damage before each use.
• Do not let children play with the packaging lm. Children can get caught
in it while playing and suocate.

suciently stable surface.
• Do not place the single-stile ladder on the edge of a surface.
• Do not use the single-stile ladder if its wooden components are cracked,
split or deformed. Replace damaged components only with suitable
original spare parts.
Fall height and surface
WARNING!
!
Risk of injury!
Using a material with insucient shock-absorbing ability can lead to serious
injuries.
• Place the single-stile ladder on an appropriate, shock-absorbing surface.
Examples of an appropriate surface include soft carpets, mattresses (not
too thin or thick) as well as gymnastics, sports & yoga mats. The surface
must also not be too soft. Otherwise, the single-stile ladder would be
unstable. We recommend placing the product on the Ehrenkind play mat.
• Do not place the single-stile ladder on hard surfaces, such as concrete,
parquet or laminate. Otherwise, fatal falls may occur.
• Regularly check whether the shock-absorbing surface is correctly placed.
• The shock-absorbing material must extend at least 2 m beyond the edge
of the single-stile ladder in all directions. As children may jump or fall
from the single-stile ladder, the shock-absorbing material protects against
serious injuries.
• Regardless of the materials used, make sure that they are well maintained
and checked regularly. Take note that the product has a maximum fall
height of 60 cm.

Assembly instructions
• Mount the rung tree securely and make sure that it sits correctly.
• If the rung tree is to be used horizontally, as a bridge, mount both ends
of the rung tree securely. It‘s top edge must not exceed 60 cm of height
(e.g. with two Ehrenkind climbing triangles: max. 5th rung).
• Then fasten the rung tree by thoroughly closing the safety mechanism.

Cleaning

bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning tools, such as knives, hard scrapers
or similar. These can damage the surfaces.
• Wipe down the product using a dry cloth.

• Regularly check whether all components are intact before a play session
and check the product for breaks and signs of wear on a weekly basis.
• Inspect the product for sharp edges before use.
Storage
• Protect the product from freezing temperatures. Do not leave it out in the
cold during winter.
• All components must be completely dry before storage. Always store the
product in a dry place.
• Keep the product away from direct sunlight.
• Store the product out of children’s reach in a securely locked place and at
a temperature between +5 °C and +20 °C (room temperature).
