1Installing Android and Linux from SD card
SD 600eval board can be flashed using micro SD card. There is single SD installer image available to
install Android or Linux on SD 600eval Board. Following topics describes SD Card installation process
in elaborated manner.
1.1 Installation overview
To flash Android or Linux on SD 600eval board from the SD card, perform following steps:
Step 1. Download a SD card installer image
Step 2. Copy the SD card installer image on a SD-card
Step 3. Boot the board from the SD-card
Step 4. Flash desired OS using GUI
Step 5. Reboot and enjoy !
SD card installer image for SD_600eval is present in “SD_600eval-sd_card_android-
linux_install.tar.xz” archive.
1.1.1 Step1: Download the SD card installer image

•Extract the archive once downloaded
1.1.2 Step 2: Copy the SD card installer image on a SD-card
On Windows:
•Download the Win32DiskImager tool from here
•Start the DiskImager tool with administrator rights
•Under Image file select the path to the a SD card installer image
•Under Device choose the drive letter under which the SD-card was detected
•Click Write -> This will write the image onto the micro SD-card
