EIZO MX300W
Exceptional picture quality First class picture quality and
sharp text contours is achieved thanks to its high resolution of
2560 x 1600 pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio and maximum
brightness of 300 cd/m². It doesn’t matter whether you are
sitting directly in front of the monitor or look at it from an
angle, or which part of the screen you are looking at - the
evenness of colours and colour transitions at high contrasts
remain at the same high level up to the corners.
Automatic brightness distribution regulation It is
necessary to maintain a homogeneous distribution of brightness
throughout the entire display area in order to achieve precise
picture reproduction. The Digital Uniformity Equalizer, a special
circuit, automatically corrects brightness non-uniformity for
each pixel via the 12bit LUT.
Precise colour control Colour reproduction is controlled by
the internal 12 bit LUT (Look-Up-Table). This helps achieving a
much more accurate grading of colour information than with an
8bit LUT. The RadiCS LE software is used to perform the
individual calibration of the white pixel and tone curve.
DIN V 6868-57 Display features, particularly brightness and
contrast, enable the classification of picture observation into
category B in compliance with DIN V 6868-57.
CalSwitch This function offers a total of four picture modes
with various preset values of brightness, colour temperature
and tone curve. With a push of a single button or by changing
Windows settings, you can immediately achieve the ideal setup
for the given purpose of use (DICOM, Custom, CAL and Text
modes). The monitor is then able to automatically switch to the
calibrated mode (CAL). The DICOM tone curve, corresponding
to clean film, is preset.
Brightness stabilization A sensor, invisibly placed behind the
monitor, constantly measures the brightness. The defined or
calibrated values are achieved within seconds of turning on the
monitor and are maintained constant during operation.
Backlight Saver The Backlight Saver function limits the
wearing of the monitor backlight. This function can work
automatically and is part of the ScreenManager Pro Medical
software. Similar to a screen saver, the Backlight Saver
function turns off the backlight lamp, when the monitor is not in
use.
Signal inputs, Picture-by-Picture One of the two DVI-D
inputs are Dual Link, for signals with a resolution of 2560 x
1600 pixels, which are received as a whole. The MX300W can
alternatively process two Single Link signals from two
computers or two graphics cards on both inputs. Both pictures
are then displayed side by side - Picture by Picture. The
MX300W replaces the 2 megapixel two monitor solution in this
manner.
RadiCS LE Using the RADICS LE software enables testing the
brightness and DICOM tone curve and automatically perform
the calibration process based on factory settings. A brightness
sensor integrated within the device is used for this purpose.
Additional tone curves, e.g. CIE, can be calibrated using RadiCS
LE. An optional sensor must be used for the realization
described.
