EIZO’s new viewing
software1can display a JPEG or
bitmap image, or any selected
part of the screen, in an overlay
window to a maximum brightness
of 280 cd/m2, as well as enlarging
or reducing it and freely altering
its brightness, contrast, chroma, hue and gamma values2. Because
DesktopViewer uses the graphics card’s video memory, capturing an
image and changing its size are performed more quickly and
smoothly than with conventional software.
PRINT IMAGE MATCHING™
P.I.M. technology, developed by Seiko Epson Corporation,
optimizes the tone, color and detail of images captured with a P.I.M.-
enabled digital camera by recording and retaining the
original settings and other print-specific data (color space,
gamma level, etc) for each image. Incorporated in the
FlexScan T766, it allows such images to be viewed, edited and (with
a P.I.M.-enabled printer) printed out at the highest level of accuracy.
FINE CONTRAST
A one-touch button on the front panel accesses five special-
ized image adjustment modes: Text, Browser, Picture, Graphic and
Movie, each with its own settings for color temperature, brightness
and contrast. An sRGB mode initiated via the OSD is also available.

Additional Features
COLOR RESTORATION
Over time, all CRT monitors are subject to slight changes in
color tonality and brightness. This function restores their
original, factory-set values, ensuring longer service life at
optimum performance level.
DUAL INPUT TERMINALS
Two video inputs (D-Sub and BNC) are provided. When two
computers are connected, either can be prioritized.
WINDOWMOVIE MODE
Alters the illumination level of the background window, to make
video in the overlay window appear clearer and brighter3.
ACTIVEGAMMA
Assigns and saves WindowMovie or any Fine Contrast mode
to an application, activating it automatically when that
application is opened4.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS
The T766 complies with a wide range of current industry
standards including TÜV ECO Circle 2001, TCO’99, the CE
Mark, and the EPA Energy Star®Program.

Powered from the monitor, this unit attaches directly to the
bezel and delivers an output of 1 watt per channel.
