ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
OPTION 1: If dispensing wire from the top of the unit, install
the top assembly to the base using the two bolts supplied.

OPTION 2: If dispensing wire from the bottom of the unit, install
the two bottom assemblies with the Wire Guide Modules.
These attach to the base of the unit with the bolts supplied.

Vertical Dereeler for
Wood Reels

INSTALLATION & SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Install wood reels onto the spool mounts. Wood reels for
this unit must be 30” (762mm) in diameter with 1-5/16”
(33mm) center arbor hole. The maximum width of the reels
can be no more than 12” (305mm). Replace locking collar
(shown above) to secure reels in place.
2-A.) Dispensing wire from the top of the dereeler:
Install conduit from the dereeler to the wire feeder(s) as
shown. Attach the conduit to the quick disconnects and
secure to the top of the tower with the clamps. Run the
wire from the reels up through the feeder.
2-B.) Dispensing wire from the bottom the dereeler:
Install conduit from the dereeler to the wire feeder(s) as
shown. Attach the conduit to the Wire Guide Modules and
securely tighten the compression fittings. Run the wire from
the reels up through the feeder.
3.) Adjust the brake:
The brake should be adjusted so the tension is just enough
to keep the reel from coasting. To adjust the tension,
tighten the locking nut for more resistance, loosen it for less
resistance. When adjustment is complete, test the dereeler
with the wire feeder to ensure proper wire delivery.
