Mechanical Turn Table
Installation

Note: It is highly recommended that the turn table be
firmly mounted to the floor using holes provided in base.
A cost effective dispensing system designed to pay out all sizes and varieties of weld wire. The Mechanical Turn
Table features an adjustable arm with ceramic inlet guide and quick disconnect. Guaranteed to prevent wire
shaving. Excellent for submerged arc applications.

Mechanical Turn Table Assembly Instructions:
1. Attach turn table upright to the base using the
four bolts supplied.
2. Adjust tabs on the base to fit your drum size,
as follows:
> 20.0" & 20.4" barrel diameters use inside holes
> 23.4" barrel diameter use middle holes
> 26" barrel diameter use outside holes
3. Attach the wire retainer to the top of the drum.
4. Attach locking handles to the wire guide bracket
that slides onto the upright.
5. Slide wire guide bracket onto the upright. Insert
and adjust the top wire guide bracket (by
loosening the locking handle) to where the wire
will pull off from the center tube of the drum. The
wire guide arm should be in the drum as far as
possible to avoid wire flip (ensure it is not rubbing
against the drum). See page 2 for recommended
positioning. Tighten handles to secure bracket.
6. When in position,
insert pull pin to
lock guide arm in
place. When
changing drums,
pull out pin and
remove guide
arm. Replace
drum and then
replace arm.
7. Connect the wire conduit to the quick disconnect.
8. Run wire from the drum on through the wire guide
and the conduit to your wire feeder.

Wire Guide Arm Positioning:
A. B.
Low Position: Lower the wire guide bracket down on the
upright until it is just above the drum. Insert the wire guide
arm and adjust accordingly. It should be down in the drum
as far as possible to avoid wire flip (ensure it is not rubbing
against the drum as it spins). Replace pull pin to secure arm.
High Position: Install the wire guide bracket near the top of
the upright. Insert the wire guide arm and adjust accordingly.
It should be down in the drum as far as possible to avoid wire
flip (ensure it is not rubbing against the drum as it spins).
Replace pull pin to secure arm.
