1 Important Safety Warnings and Instructions
Read carefully and keep forfuture reference:
zThis appliance is intended for use by children 8 years old and older and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they
are under supervision or have been given instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe
manner and they understand the potential hazards.
zChildren must not play with the appliance.
zCleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
zUnpack the product carefully and be careful not to throw away any part of the packaging material
until you find all the parts ofthe product.
zRemove all packaging and marketing materials from the product before first use.

zIf the maximum weighing capacity (100 g) is exceeded, remove part or all of the raw material from
the weighing area immediately, otherwise irreparable damage to the weighing sensors or the entire
product may occur.

5 Service
Preparation for weighing
1. The battery is already installed at the bottom of the scale in the battery compartment.
2. Open the battery compartment and remove the insulating strip marked REMOVE BEFORE USE to
prevent the battery from discharging before delivery to the consumer from the factory and dealer.
3. Close the battery compartment.
4. Place the scale on a flat, stable, and hard surface with the display side-up.
Caution:
If you place the scale on an uneven, unstable or soft surface (e.g. a kitchen towel), inaccuracies
in weighing may occur (the scale will display higher or lower readings).
Switch-on the scale and switch on/off the display backlight
1. To switch on the scale, press the ON/OFF button.
2. The symbol will briefly appear on the display to indicate the scale is in the operating mode.
3. You can turn the display backlight on/off with the LIGHT button.
Note:
If the scale is inactive for more than 30 seconds, the display backlight will turn off automatically.
If the scale remains idle for more than 2 minutes, it will automatically shut down.
Choice of the unit ofweight and number of pieces
1. Switch on the scale by pressing the ON/OFF button.
2. The symbol will briefly appear on the display to indicate the scale is in the operating mode.
3. With the g/pcs button you can switch between the unit of weight and the number of pieces.
Note:
In the factory default setting, the unit for weighing is pre-set in grams (the display shows
the symbol).
Tip:
The unit you set remains stored in the internal memory of the scale even after the scale is
switched off and switched on again. The exception is when removing or replacing the battery;
when the scale is switched back on, the unit for weighing in grams is displayed (the display
shows the symbol).
Measurement ofweight and number ofpieces
1. Switch on the scale by pressing the ON/OFF button.
2. The symbol will briefly appear on the display to indicate the scale is in the operating mode.
3. As soon as a zero value appears on the display, you can start measuring the weight or counting
the pieces according to the selected option.

Weight zeroing function forcontainer weight
1. Switch on the scale by pressing the ON/OFF button.
2. The symbol will briefly appear on the display to indicate the scale is in the operating mode.
3. When the display shows zero, place a utensil on the scale, the weight of which you wish to zero,
and wait for its weight to be displayed.
4. Now press the ZERO button to reset the weight of the utensil.
5. The symbol will briefly appear on the display to indicate the weight was zeroed and then the
zero weight will be displayed. The weight of the utensil is then no longer included in the weight of
the raw materials.
Caution:
The function is only active for weights up to 4 g. In case of higher weights the scale
automatically uses the Tare function (see the next section).
Tare function (gradual weighing)
1. Switch on the scale by pressing the ON/OFF button.
2. The symbol will briefly appear on the display to indicate the scale is in the operating mode.
3. When the display shows zero, place the first raw material on the scale and wait for the weight
to be displayed.
4. Now press the ZERO button.
5. The symbol will briefly appear on the display indicating the weight was zeroed and then
the symbol will appear indicating the weight of the first raw material was stored in the memory.
6. Now place the next raw material on the scale and again wait for its weight to be displayed.
7. Press the ZERO button again.
8. The symbol will briefly appear on the display indicating the weight was zeroed and then
the symbol will appear indicating the weight of the second raw material was stored in the
memory.
9. Repeat the procedure until all required raw materials are imported.
10. Finally, press the ZERO button and the display will showthe sum of the weights of all raw
materials.
Caution:
The function is active only if the weight of the first weighed raw material is more than 4 g.
In case of lower weight, the scale automatically uses the weight zeroing function and does not
display the total weight (see previous point).
Piece number measurement function
1. Switch on the scale by pressing the ON/OFF button.
2. The symbol appears briefly on the display, indicating that the scale has switched to the
operating mode.
3. Now press the g/pcs button, the symbol PCS will appear on the display, indicating that you have
entered the piece counting mode.
4. Hold down the g/pcs button for 3 seconds. Now select one of the preset values 25/50 or 100
pieces by pressing the g/pcs button again. Each time you press the button, the preset values
change gradually and cyclically.
5. After selecting the desired value, place the same amount of raw material on the scale and wait
until the selected value stops flashing on the display.
6. The scale now recognizes the weight of the selected amount of raw material and calculates the
average weight of one piece of the selected raw material.

7. If you want to change the setting to another raw material, repeat the process from the beginning.
Caution:
Your last setting remains in the scale’s internal memory even after it is switched off and on
again. The exception is if you remove or replace the battery, when you must reset the scale
after it is switched on.
Tip:
For the most accurate measurement, use the preset value of 100 pieces.
Switching off the scale
To switch off the scale, press the ON/OFF button.
Error messages
6 Replacing the Battery
1. The battery is in the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one (type
CR2032).
3. When doing so, observe the correct polarity, which is marked on the bottom ofthe battery
compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment.
7 Cleaning and Maintenance
zCleaning and maintenance carried out by the user shall not be made by children unless they are at
least 8 years old and under supervision. Children underthe age of 8 must be kept out of the reach
and power supply of the appliance.
zNever clean the scale under running water, do not rinse or immerse it in water!
zUse a soft cloth dampened in lukewarm water to clean the outside parts ofthe product. Do not
use harsh cleaning agents, thinners or solvents, otherwise the surface of the product may be
damaged.
zAvoid contact ofthe weighing surface and the surface of the weighing bowl with citric acid, citrus
juices, vinegar and similarly aggressive food. In case of contact with such food, clean the surface
immediately with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
Lo Indicates low battery. Replace the battery with a new one.
Err The maximum weighing capacity of the scale (100 g) has been exceeded. Remove the raw
material from the scale up to a maximum value of 100 g.

Packaging materials and old appliances shall preferably be recycled. The packaging materials of this
product can be disposed of as sorted waste. The same applies to the plastic bags made of polyethylene
(PE) and other materials – please hand them over for recycling.

to indicate that this product shall not be treated as household waste. It must be disposed of at

of this product helps to prevent adverse impacts on the environment and human health,
which could otherwise result from improper waste disposal. The disposal shall be carried out
in accordance with waste management regulations. For more detailed information about the

5 Bedienung
Vor dem Erstgebrauch
1. Die Batterie ist im unteren Bereich derWaage im Batteriefach bereits installiert.
2. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und ziehen Sie den Isolierstreifen mit der Aufschrift REMOVE BEFORE
USE heraus. Dieser Isolierstreifen verhindert das Entladen der Batterie vor derAnlieferung vom
Werk und Verkäufer an den Verbraucher.
3. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.
4. Stellen Sie die Waage mit der LCD-Anzeige nach oben auf eine ebene, stabile und harte Oberfläche.
Hinweis:
Sollte die Waage auf einer unebenen, instabilen oder weichen Oberfläche stehen (z. B. auf einem
Küchentuch), kann das Wiegen ungenau sein (die Waage würde einen höheren oder niedrigeren
Wert anzeigen).

Einschalten der Waage und Ab-/Einschalten der Hintergrundbeleuchtung
der Anzeige
1. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol the ON/OFF-Taste, um die Waage einzuschalten.
2. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Umschalten der Waage in den
Betriebsmodus signalisiert.
3. Mit der LIGHT-Taste kann die Hintergrundbeleuchtung der Anzeige ab-/ eingeschaltet werden.
Anmerkung:
Bleibt die Waage länger als 30 Sekunden inaktiv, erfolgt eine automatische Abschaltung der
Hintergrundbeleuchtung der Anzeige Bleibt die Waage länger als 2 Minuten inaktiv, wird sie
automatisch ausgeschaltet.
Wahl der Messeinheit für Gewicht und Stückzahl
1. Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste, um die Waage einzuschalten.
2. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Umschalten der Waage in den
Betriebsmodus signalisiert.
3. Mit der g/pcs-Taste kann zwischen der Messeinheit für Gewicht und Stückzahl gewechselt werden.
Anmerkung:
Die Werkseinstellung gibt die Wiegeeinheit für das Gewicht in Gramm an (die LCD-Anzeige zeigt
das Symbol an).
Tip:
Die von Ihnen eingestellte Einheit bleibt im internen Speicher der Waage auch nach dem
Ausschalten und erneuten Einschalten der Waage erhalten. Eine Ausnahme gibt es, wenn die

Messung von Gewicht und Stückzahl
1. Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste, um die Waage einzuschalten.
2. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Umschalten der Waage in den
Betriebsmodus signalisiert.
3. Sobald die Anzeige einen Nullwert anzeigt, kann mit der Gewichtsmessung oder Stückzahlzählung
gemäß der gewählten Möglichkeit begonnen werden.
Funktion zum Zurücksetzen des Gewichts auf Null
1. Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste, um die Waage einzuschalten.
2. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Umschalten der Waage in den
Betriebsmodus signalisiert.
3. Sobald die LCD-Anzeige den Nullwert anzeigt, stellen Sie einen Behälter auf die Waage, dessen
Gewicht Sie auf Null zurücksetzen möchten, und warten Sie, bis sein Gewicht angezeigt wird.
4. Drücken Sie jetzt die ZERO-Taste, um das Gewicht des Behälters auf Null zurückzusetzen.
5. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Zurücksetzen des Gewichts signalisiert.
Anschließend wird ein Null-Gewicht angezeigt. Der Behälter wird dann nicht mehr im Gewicht des
Wägeguts eingerechnet sein.

Hinweis:
Die Funktion ist lediglich für ein Gewicht unter 4 g aktiv. Bei einem höheren Gewicht nutzt die
Waage automatisch die Tara-Funktion (siehe nächster Punkt).
Tara-Funktion (Zuwiegen)
1. Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste, um die Waage einzuschalten.
2. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Umschalten der Waage in den
Betriebsmodus signalisiert.
3. Sobald die LCD-Anzeige den Nullwert anzeigt, legen Sie das erste Wägegut auf die Waage und
warten Sie, bis sein Gewicht angezeigt wird.
4. Drücken Sie jetzt die ZERO-Taste.
5. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol an, was das Zurücksetzen des Gewichts signalisiert.
Anschließend wird das Symbol angezeigt, was das Speichern des Gewichts vom ersten
Wägegut signalisiert.
6. Legen Sie jetzt das nächste Wägegut auf die Waage und warten Sie wieder auf die Anzeige
dessen Gewichts.
7. Drücken Sie erneut die ZERO-Taste.
8. Die LCD-Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol n, was das Zurücksetzen des Gewichts signalisiert.
Anschließend wird das Symbol angezeigt, was das Speichern des Gewichts vom zweiten
Wägegut signalisiert.
9. Wiederholen Sie die Vorgehensweise, bis alle erforderlichen Zutaten gewogen sind.
10. Drücken Sie zum Schluss die ZERO-Taste und die LCD-Anzeige zeigt die Gewichtssumme aller
Wägegüter an.
Hinweis:
Die Funktion ist nur dann aktiv, wenn das Gewicht vom ersten gewogenen Wägegut
4 g überschreitet. Sollte das Gewicht niedriger sein, nutzt die Waage automatisch die
Nullstellungsfunktion für das Gewicht und die gesamte Gewichtssumme wird nicht angezeigt
(siehe vorgenannter Punkt).
Stückzahl-Messfunktion
1. Die ON/OFF-Taste drücken, um die Waage einzuschalten.
2. Die Anzeige zeigt kurz das Symbol 8888 an, was den Wechsel der Waage in den Betriebsmodus
signalisiert.
3. Jetzt die g/pcs-Taste drücken. Die Anzeige zeigt das Symbol PCS an, was den Wechsel in den
Stückzahlmodus signalisiert.
4. Die g/pcs-Taste für 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten. Danach die g/pcs-Taste erneut drücken, um
einen der voreingestellten Werte 25/50 oder 100 Stück zu wählen. Mit jedem Tastendruck ändern
sich nacheinander die voreingestellten Werte im Zyklus.
5. Nach der Auswahl des Soll-Wertes die gleiche Menge des Wägeguts auf die Waage legen und
abwarten, bis der gewählte Wert auf der Anzeige nicht mehr blinkt.
6. Die Waage kann jetzt das Gewicht der gewählten Wägegutmenge erkennen und berechnet das
durchschnittliche Gewicht pro Stück des gewählten Wägeguts.
7. Soll die Einstellung für ein anderes Wägegut geändert werden, ist der Ablauf zu wiederholen.

Lo Signalisiert einen niedrigen Ladezustand der Batterie. Tauschen Sie die Batterie gegen eine
neue aus.
Err
Die maximale Wiegekapazität der Waage (100 g) wurde überschritten. Das überflüssige
Wägegut muss von der Waage entnommen werden, damit der maximale Gewichtswert 100 g
eingehalten wird.
Hinweis:
Die letzte Einstellung wird im internen Speicher der Waage auch nach dem Aus- und
erneuten Einschalten der Waage gespeichert. Dies triff jedoch nicht zu, wenn die Batterie
herausgenommen oder gewechselt wird. Danach muss die Waage nach dem erneuten
Einschalten wieder eingestellt werden.
Tip:
Um eine genauere Messung zu erzielen, ist der voreingestellte Wert 100 Stück zu wählen.
Waage ausschalten
Die ON/OFF-Taste drücken, um die Waage einzuschalten.
Fehlermeldungen
6 Batteriewechsel
1. Die Batterie befindet sich im unteren Bereich der Waage im Batteriefach.
2. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie und legen Sie eine neue Batterie
(Typ CR2032) ein.
3. Achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Polarität, die immer auf dem Boden des Batteriefachs
markiert ist.
4. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.
7 Reinigung und Wartung
zReinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie
sind 8 Jahre oder älter und werden beaufsichtigt. Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät und der
Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.
zReinigen Sie die Waage nie unter fließendem Wasser. Die Waage darf weder gespült noch ins
Wasser getaucht werden!
zBenutzen Sie für die Reinigung derAußenteile des Geräts ein sanftes, nasses Tuch und lauwarmes
Wasser. Benutzen Sie keine rauen Reinigungsmittel, Verdünner oder Lösungsmittel, die die
Oberfläche des Produkts beschädigen könnten.
zVermeiden Sie den Kontakt der Oberfläche von der Wiegefläche und -schale mit Zitronensäure und
Saft aus Zitrusfrüchten, Essig und ähnlich aggressiven Lebensmitteln. Sollte es zu einem Kontakt
mit solchen Lebensmitteln kommen, reinigen Sie die Oberfläche sofort mit einem feuchten Tuch
und trocknen Sie die Oberfläche anschließend sorgfältig ab.
