Wall/Ceiling Mounting Instructions:
RefertoFigure1andthePartsListforthefollowingsteps.
1. AttachtheU-bracket(D)tothewallorceilingusing
fastenersthataresuitableforthewallorceilingmaterial
(notsupplied).Figure2isadimensionaldrawingofthe
U-bracket.Itgivesdimensionsforthebracketsize,the
mountingholes,andtheholesusedtoattachthespeaker
tothebracket.
2. Removethepaperbackingfromoneofthefrictionwash-
ers(B)andattachthesetotheU-bracketasshown.Be
surethatthethroughholesonthefrictionwasherslineup
withthethroughholesontheU-bracket.
3. Removetheholeplugsfromthetopandbottomofthe
Sx80fortheU-bracketbygentlypryingwithasmallscrew-
driver.
4. MounttheSx80totheU-BracketwiththesuppliedM6
screws(C),ensuringthatthenylonwashers(A)are
mountedbetweentheU-bracketandthescrews.
5. Rotatethespeakersothattheinputterminalisaccessible
andattachthewires.Positionthespeakerforthede-
siredangleandtightenthescrewssufcientlysothatthe
speakerdoesnotinadvertentlyrotate.

CAUTION: Due to the weight of the Sx80 speaker system,
it is imperative that the Sx80SMB bracket be properly
secured to the wall or ceiling. The choice of fastener (not
provided with the bracket kit), will be determined by the
material and construction of the mounting surface.
