main unit. The remote is used in CD/MP3 and USB mode.

UNPACKING AND SETUP
• Carefully remove the unit from the display carton and remove
all packing material from the unit
• Unwind the AC power cord and extend it to its full length
• Unwind the FM Antenna wire and extend it to its full length
• Place the unit on a stable, level surface, close to an AC outlet,
out of direct sunlight, and away from sources of excess heat,
dust, moisture, humidity, or strong magnetic elds
• Raise the lid to expose the record player. The record player has been
secured for shipment with a transit screw. Use a coin or screwdriver
to TURN THE TRANSIT SCREW CLOCKWISE – THIS WILL ALLOW
THE TURNTABLE TO "FLOAT"AND TURN FREELY.
• Remove the opaque white plastic stylus cover from the turn-table
stylus by sliding it in the direction of the arrow.
• Discard the stylus cover.
• Remove the twist-tie that was used to secure the tone arm
during shipment.
• Release the tone arm lock lever.
• Connect the plug to your AC outlet, as shown below.
POWER SOURCE
This system is designed to operate on normal 120V 60Hz AC only. Attempting to operate this system from
anyotherpowersourcemaycausedamagetothesystem,andsuchdamageisnotcoveredbyyourwarranty.
This system is equipped with a polarized AC power plug having one blade wider than the other.This is a
safety feature. If this plug does not t into your existing AC outlet, do not try to defeat this safety feature
by altering the wide blade to make it t into your outlet. If this plug will not t into your outlet, you
probably have an outdated non-polarized AC outlet. Have the obsolete outlet changed by a qualied
licensed electrician.

BATTERY INSTALLATION OF REMOTE CONTROL
• The remote control is equipped with one CR2025 (3V) lithium battery.
• To replace the battery, hold the remote level and press the clasp with
the thumb in the right direction of the arrow in the illustration, and take
out the battery compartment by sliding with forenger towards you.
Take out the battery compartment from the remote control. Install a
lithium battery (CR-2025) in the compartment with the positive polarity
turned up. Hold level and push the battery compartment into the
remote control lightly until it clicks into place.
RAISING AND LOWERING THE LID
IMPORTANT:
To open the lid, raise it as far as it will go until the lid support bracket "locks" in the open position.To close
the lid, lift it upward slightly and pull the bracket gently towards you until the bracket "unlocks", and then
gently lower the lid.
TO AVOID DAMAGING THE CABINET ORTHE LID, NEVER FORCETHE LID CLOSED. ALWAYS RAISETHE LIDTO
RELEASETHE LID SUPPORT BRACKET.
PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber "feet" to prevent the product from moving when you operate
the controls.These‘feet’are made from non-migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid
leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However, certain types of oil based furniture polishes, wood
preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber "feet" to soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue
on the furniture.To prevent any damage to your furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small
self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement centers everywhere, and
apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber "feet" before you place the product on ne wooden furniture.
POWERING ON THE UNIT
1. To turn the system ON, press the POWER button on the front panel, and set the volume to a low level.
The POWER indicator lights up.
2. Press the FUNCTION selector buttons(AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX IN/PHONO) to select your desired function.
3. Start to adjust the volume by using theVOLUME control.
4. When you have nished using the system, press the POWER button again to turn o the unit.The
POWER indicator will turn o.

OPERATION
AUX IN OPERATION
Connect your MP3 player or smartphone and listen to music via the AUX IN input. Press the AUX IN button
to select AUX MODE. Insert the audio cable (not included) into the corresponding AUX IN (L/R) Inputs at the
back of the EANOS700. Connect the other end of the cable to your device (item B). Adjust the volume using
theVolume Control knob on the front of the EANOS700.
INSERTING AND PLAYING A CD
1. Press the POWER button on the front panel to turn the system ON, set the
volume to a low level. Press the CD/USB button.
2. Press the OP/CL button to open the CD drawer. Place a CD in the tray, with
the printed label facing up. Press the OP/CL button again to close the
CD drawer.
3. The disc will spin for a few seconds while the player is reading the disc and
the total track number will appear in the display.The unit will start playing
the rst track of the disc. Adjust theVOLUME control to set the volume
as desired.
4. To skip forward or backward through the tracks on the disc, press the UP/F.F
or DN/F.R buttons.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause playback.The PLAY/PAUSE indicator
will blink in the display. Press again to resume playback. When the disc is
through playing, it will stop rotating.
6. To stop playback entirely, press the STOP button.
USB OPERATION
1. Press the CD/USB button rst and the FUNCTION button second to enter
USB mode, the "- - -" and USB icon will appear on the LED screen.
2. Insert a USB device into the USB input.The player will begin to play the
rst song of the USB.
3. The MP3 icon will be shown while MP3 is detected.
4. The PLAY/PAUSE, DN/F.R/UP/F.F and STOP functions are the same as in CD play mode.
You may press the FUNCTION button on the unit or the PLAY/PAUSE button on the remote
control to change the playing mode between CD and USB.

REMOVING THE USB DRIVE
Make sure to stop the playback and turn the unit o before removing the USB drive to avoid damage to the
USB and the system.
PLAYING IN MP3 MODE(UNDER CD/USB OPERATION)
1. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause playback of the selected track in
the CD/USB mode.
2. While playing the song, the song number and folder number of your selected
track will be shown on the screen.The MP3 icon and ►icon will be shown.
3. You can stop the playback at any time by pressing the STOP button.
TRACK SKIP AND HIGH SPEED TRACK SEARCH IN CD/USB MODE
During CD/USB playback, pressing the UP/F.F (Fast Forward) or the DN/F.R (Fast Reverse) button repeatedly
will skip to higher or lower tracks. Release the button when the desired track number is shown.The disc
will begin to play from your selected track.
Press the DN/F.R or the UP/F.F button to select a track from a folder. Both "ALBUM" and "001", "002" will
ash. Press the PLAY.MODE four times or press the RANDOM button on the remote control and you will see
RANDOM on the LED screen. Press the DN/F.R or the UP/F.F button to manually select tracks randomly.
MEMORY FUNCTION IN CD/MP3 MODE
1. Press STOP then press PLAY.MODE on the unit or PROGRAM on the remote
control to program your tracks. Both "PROG" (ashing) and "P01" will
appear on the screen. Press the UP/F.F or DN/F.R button to select your track
then press the PLAY.MODE or PROGRAM button to conrm your selection.
2. Press the PLAY.MODE or PROGRAM button to program the next track.
Repeat for all of your selected tracks.
3. To set the memory while in MP3 mode (CD/USB), repeat steps 1 and 2.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play the stored tracks, press UP/F.F or DN/F.B to select a track in the
sequence saved.
5. Press the STOP button twice to exit the program mode.This will clear the memory of your
previous selections.
OPERATION
Folders are only available when a USB is detected, not during CD playback.
You can store a total of 99 MP3 tracks and 20 CD tracks.

OPERATION
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Press the POWER button on the front panel to turn the system ON, set the volume to a low level. Press
the AM or FM button to select the band. The tuner backlighting will come on.
2. Rotate the tuning control to select a station.The backlight behind the AM/FM dial will light up. If
tuned to a strong FM station, the FM Stereo indicator will light up and the sound will be in Stereo. If
tuned to a weaker FM station, the reception will automatically switch to mono.
AM RECEPTION
The AM antenna is inside the cabinet. If reception is unsatisfactory try repositioning the cabinet slightly for
the strongest signal.
FM RECEPTION
The wire antenna is located on the back cabinet. If necessary adjust the position and direction of this
antenna for the best reception.
PLAYING RECORDS
This system includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33, 45 and 78 RPM records.
1. Press the POWER button on the front panel and set the volume to a low level. Make sure that you have
removed the stylus cover from the stylus and have released theTone Arm Lock.
2. Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed: 33, 45, or 78 RPM. Set the record onto the
turntable. If you are playing 45 RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
3. Raise the cue lever to lift the tone arm o its rest. Move the tone arm to the edge of the record. The
turntable will start automatically. Use the cue lever to gently lower the tone arm onto the record.
4. Adjust theVOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
5. To turn the system OFF, press the POWER button again and the POWER indicator will turn o.
RECORDING FROM A CD ONTO THE USB DEVICE
1. With the unit on and a USB drive inserted, press the CD/USB button and insert the desired CD; playback
will start automatically.
2. Select a track using the UP/F.F or DN/F.R buttons. Press the RECORD button twice to start recording; the
USB icon will ash in the display.
3. The song number and folder number of the recorded track will appear on the screen. Recording will
continue to until you press STOP.
Do not turn or stop the turntable manually. Moving or jarring the turntable without securing the tone arm
clamp could result in damage to the tone arm or stylus.

PROGRAM RECORDING FROM A CD or MP3 DISC ONTO A USB DEVICE
1. Perform steps 1 through 3 on page 10 to program the memory. Press the PLAY/ PAUSE button to start
program playback.
2. Select a track using the UP/F.F or DN/F.R buttons. Press the RECORD button twice to start recording; the
USB icon will ash in the display.
3. The song number and folder number of the recorded track will appear on the screen. Recording will
continue to until you press STOP.
RECORDING FROM THE RECORD PLAYER ONTO A USB DEVICE
1. With the unit on and a USB drive inserted, press the PHONO button.
2. Place a record on the turntable and start playback.
3. Press the RECORD button twice to start recording; the USB icon will ash in the display. Recording will
continue to until you press STOP.
DELETING FILES FROM THE USB DEVICE
1. Plug the USB drive into the USB input. Press the CD/USB button and press FUNCTION to select
USB mode.
2. Select a le to delete using the UP/F.F or DN/F.R buttons. Repeatedly press the FOLDER +/+10 or
FOLDER -/-10 buttons on the remote to skip to a higher or lower numbered folder (if folders are
recorded onto the USB drive).
3. Press the DELETE button on the remote once, DEL will appear on the display.
4. Press the DELETE button again to conrm that you want to delete the current track.
REPEAT/RANDOM FUNCTION IN CD/MP3 MODE
1. Press the PLAY.MODE button on the front of the unit or the REPEAT button
on the remote control ONCE to repeat the currently playing track and display
the REP icon on the track number display.
2. Press the PLAY.MODE button on the front of the unit or the REPEAT button
on the remote controlTWICE to repeat all of the tracks on the USB or MP3
disc and display the REP icon on the track number display.
3. Press the PLAY.MODE button on the front of the unit or the REPEAT button on the remote control
THREE times to play all of the tracks on the USB or MP3 disc randomly and display the RANDOM icon
on the track number display.
OPERATION
When recording (regardless of the source), the position of the volume will not aect the recording, as the
recording volume is preset.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE STYLUS
1. Lift the tone arm o the tone arm rest.
2. At the front end of the tone arm, place the tip of your ngernail between the red stylus holder and
the black cartridge housing as shown, press down on the red stylus holder until it separates from the
cartridge housing.
3. Completely remove the red stylus holder with worn stylus and discard it.
4. Place the new red stylus holder with stylus under the cartridge housing. First, press upward on the back
sideof the stylus holder, andthen pressup onthe frontedgeof the stylus holderuntil itsnaps intoplace
on the cartridge housing.
TRANSPORTING THE SYSTEM
IMPORTANT!
To protect the turntable from damage during transportation, a silver transit screw is located at the upper
right of the turntable platform.
1. Before playing, please use a screwdriver to turn the transit screw in clockwise direction (screw going
down) completely to unlock the turntable.
2. To lock the turntable again for transportation, please turn screw in counter-clockwise direction.
CARE OF THE CABINET
Care of the cabinet is the same as any piece of furniture. When the cabinet is dusty, you may wipe it using
a soft, non-abrasive dust cloth. If the cabinet becomes smudged with ngerprints, you may use any good
quality commercial dusting and polishing spray cleaner. Do not spray any plastic or metal parts of this
system. We recommend spraying the cleaner on the cloth, not directly on the cabinet, to avoid any over
spray on any plastic or metal components.

TO REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE FROM TONE ARM PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES BELOW.
1. Please unplug the unit before replacing
the cartridge.
2. Gently lift o the tone arm from the
tone arm rest.
3. By using your left hand to hold the
tone arm and using your right hand to
hold the rear portion of the cartridge.
Then push the cartridge backwards and
downwards according to the direction
as shown to the right to separate the
cartridge from the tone arm.
4. Using either a tweezer or your ngers,
carefully unplug the terminals from
the cartridge.
5. Carefully connect the terminals to the
new cartridge (not included).
6. To re-install the new cartridge to the
tone arm. First please lock the front end
of the new cartridge on the hook of the
tone arm.
7. Press the rear side of the new cartridge
upwards to lock it on to the tone arm.
CAUTION: Please don’t damage the stylus when installing the new cartridge.
CARING FOR COMPACT DISCS
• Treat the compact disc carefully. Handle the compact disc only by its edges. Never allow your ngers to
come in contact with the shiny, unprinted side of the compact disc.
• Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc. to the compact disc label.
• Clean the compact disc periodically with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive
cleaners to clean the compact disc. If necessary, use a CD cleaning kit.
• If a disc skips or gets stuck on a section of the compact disc, it is probably dirty or damaged (scratched).
• When cleaning the compact disc, wipe in straight lines from the center of the compact disc to the outer
edge of the compact disc. Never wipe in circular motions.
• Compact Discs should be stored in their cases after each use to avoid damage.
• Donotexposecompactdiscstodirectsunlight,highhumidity,hightemperaturesordust,etc.Prolonged
exposure or extreme temperatures can warp the compact disc.
• Do not stick or write anything on either side of the compact disc. Sharp writing instruments, or the ink,
may damage the surface.

If any such defects should be found in this product within the applicable warranty period, ELECTROHOME shall, at its option, repair or

equal to the unexpired portion of the original equipment warranty.

A. Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of abusive operation, negligence, accident, improper installation or
inappropriate use as outlined in the owner’s manual.
B. Any ELECTROHOME product tampered with, modied, adjusted or repaired by any party other than ELECTROHOME or
ELECTROHOME’s Authorized Service Centres.
C. Damage caused or repairs required as a result of the use with items not specied or approved by ELECTROHOME, including
but not limited to head cleaning tapes and chemical cleaning agents.
D. Any replacement of accessories, glassware, consumable or peripheral items required through normal use of the product
including but not limited to earphones, remote controls, AC adapters, batteries, stylus, trays, lters, cables, paper, cabinet,
cabinet parts, knobs, buttons, baskets, stands and shelves.
E. Any cosmetic damage to the surface or exterior that has been defaced or caused by normal wear and tear.
F. Any damage caused by external or environmental conditions, including but not limited to transmission line/power line
voltage or liquid spillage.
G. Any product received without appropriate model, serial number and CSA /cUL /cULus /cETL /cETLus markings.
H. Any products used for rental or commercial purposes.
I. Any installation, setup and/or programming charges.
Should this ELECTROHOME product fail to operate during the warranty period, warranty service may be obtained upon delivery
of the ELECTROHOME product together with proof of purchase and a copy of this LIMITED WARRANTY statement to an Authorized
ELECTROHOME Service Centre. In-home warranty service may be provided at ELECTROHOME’s discretion on any ELECTROHOME
television with the screen size of 40”or larger. This warranty constitutes the entire express warranty granted by ELECTROHOME and
no other dealer, service centre or their agent or employee is authorized to extend, enlarge or transfer this warranty on behalf of
ELECTROHOME.To the extent the law permits, ELECTROHOME disclaims any and all liability for direct or indirect damages or losses or
for any incidental, special or consequential damages or loss of prots resulting from a defect in material or workmanship relating to
the product, including damages for the loss of time or use of this ELECTROHOME product or the loss of information.The purchaser will
be responsible for any removal, reinstallation, transportation and insurance costs incurred. Correction of defects, in the manner and

ENTRETIEN
TO REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE FROM TONE ARM PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES BELOW.
1. Veuillez débranchez l'appareil avant de remplacer
la cartouche.
2. Soulevez délicatement le bras de lecture
du support.
3. En utilisant votre main gauche pour tenir le
bras et à l’aide de votre main droite pour tenir
la partie arrière de la cartouche, poussez la
cartouche vers l’arrière et vers le bas selon le
sens indiqué dans le schéma à la droite pour
séparer la cartouche du bras de lecture.
4. En utilisant une pince à épiler ou vos doigts,
débranchez soigneusement les bornes de la cartouche.
5. Branchez soigneusement les bornes à la nouvelle
cartouche (non inclus).
6. Pour réinstaller la nouvelle cartouche pour le
bras de lecture, veuillez tout d’abord, verouillez
l’extrémité avant de la nouvelle cartouche sur le
crochet du bras de lecture.
7. Appuyez sur le côté arrière de la nouvelle cartouche
vers le haut pour la verrouiller sur le bras de lecture.
AVERTISSEMENT: Veuillez prendre soin de ne pas endommagez pas la pointe de lecture lors de
l’installation de la nouvelle cartouche.
PRENDRE SOIN DES DISQUES COMPACTS
• Manipulez le disque compact avec précaution et seulement par ses bords. Ne touchez jamais le côté
brillant, non imprimé du disque compact avec vos doigts.
• Ne xez pas de ruban adhésif, autocollants, etc, à l’étiquette de disques compacts.
• Nettoyez le disque régulièrement avec un chion doux, non pelucheux et sec. N’utilisez jamais de
détergents ou de nettoyants abrasifs pour nettoyer le disque compact. Si nécessaire, utilisez un kit de
nettoyage CD.
• Si un disque saute ou se coince sur une section du disque compact, il est probablement sale ou
endommagé (rayé).
• Lorsque vous nettoyez le disque compact, essuyez-le dans des lignes droites du centre du disque
jusqu’au bord extérieur du disque compact. N’essuyez-le jamais avec des mouvements circulaire.
• Rangez les disques compacts dans un étuit après chaque utilisation pour éviter des dommages.
• N’exposez pas les disques compacts en plein soleil, beaucoup d’humidité, des températures élevées
ou à la poussière. Les eets des températures extrêmes soudaines ou prolongées peuvent déformer le
disque compact.
• Ne pas coller ou écrire quoi que ce soit de chaque côté du disque compact. Des instruments d'écriture
pointue, ou de l'encre, peuvent endommager la surface du disque.

UTILISATION
REMPLACER LE STYLET
1. Levez le bras de lecture du support.
2. Sur l’extrémité du bras de lecture, placer le bout de votre ongle entre le porte-stylet rouge et le boîtier
de cartouche noir comme dans le schéma, appuyer sur le porte-stylet rouge jusqu'à ce qu'il se sépare
du boîtier de cartouche.
3. Retirez complètement et jetez le porte-stylet rouge et le stylet usé.
4. Placez le nouveau porte-stylet rouge et stylet neuf sous le boîtier de cartouche. Appuyez (vers le haut)
sur le côté arrière du porte-stylet puis appuyez sur sur le bord avant du porte-stylet jusqu'à ce qu'il
clic en place dans le boîtier de la cartouche.
TRANSPORTER LE SYSTÈME
IMPORTANT!
An de protéger la plaque tournante de tout dommage pendant le transport, une vis de transport argentée
se trouve en haut à la droite du plateau.
1. Avant de jouer un disque, veuillez utiliser un tournevis pour tourner la vis de transport dans le sens
horaire pour (la vis descendant) complètement pour déverrouiller le plateau tournant.
2. Pour verrouiller le plateau à nouveau pour le transport, veuillez tourner la vis dans le
sens anti-horaire.
ENTRETIEN DU BOÎTIER
L' entretien du boîtier est le même que d'autres meubles. Lorsque le boîtier est poussiéreux, vous pouvez
l'essuyer avec chion à poussière doux, non-abrasif. Si le boîtier a des traces de doigts, vous pouvez
utiliser n'importe quel nettoyant commerciale de bonne qualité pour le dépoussiérage et le polissage. NE
PAS VAPORISER LES PIÈCES DE CE SYSTÈME EN PLASTIQUE OU EN MÉTAL. Nous recommendons
d'appliquez le nettoyant sur le chion plutôt que sur le boîtier,pour prévenir la surpulvérisation sur les
pièces en plastique ou en métal sur ce système.
