CONTENT
Do not use gas other than that which is specified on the
label attached.
do not place anything, e.g. flame tamer, asbestos mat,
between appliance and pan support as serious damage
to the appliance may result. (Fig 1)
Do not remove the pan support and enclose the burner
with a wok stand not supplied by Electrolux as this will
concentrate the flame and deflect the heat onto the top
plate. (Fig 2)
Do not use large pots or heavy weights which can bend
the pan support or deflect the flame onto the top
plate. (Fig 3)
Locate pan centrally over burner so that it is stable and
does not overheat the appliance. (Fig 4)
Use only wok support supplied or recommended by the
manufacturer of the appliance ( Fig 5)
The unit to be used for cooking only, do not
dry towels, clothes, etc., over it, if this is done, there is
danger for fire if a gas leak is found, close stop cock,
open up all windows and call your dealer, do refrain from
turning an electric switch on or off, lighting a match
smoking or using a lighter.
Use the appliance in a well ventilated room.
Do not use vinyl gas hose. It is liable to be softened
by heat, use only a rubber hose.
Be sure to turn off the ignition knob and regulator of
the cylinder after use.
Avoid touching the burner, pan stand etc., immediately
after use. Otherwise you will get hurt.
Ensure that the rubber hose does not touch any part of
the unit or lies underneath it.
Connect the rubber hose to the gas inlet and fasten it
with a hose clamp.
The pan stand leg nearest to the flame will have
discolorations after use. Such phenomenon is normal.
SAFE INSTRUCTIONS
In the event of burner flame
being accidently extinguished,
turn off the burner control knob
and do not attempt to re ignite
the burner for at least 1 minutes.
For burner fitted with a flame
supervision device, if after 15
seconds of ignition operation the
burner has not lit, stop operating
the device and open the
compartment door and wait at least
1minute before attempting a further
ignition of the burner.
If nozzle holes are blocked,
use a thin wire or pin to pierce and
clean the nozzle holes.
WARNING:
1. Open the box, take out the polyfoam, and put it on the even ground, remove and abandon
the poly bag.
2. Take out the gas stove, and put it upside down on the polyfoam, take out the legs,
knob sets and burner caps bag, release the trivets by unfasten the ties.
3. Install four legs on the four square yard by nuts as followings show

MARKED, DIFFERENT GAS TYPE AND PRESSURE WILL CAUSE SERIOUS
RESULT OF BODY INJURY AND FORTUNE DAMAGE, EVEN DEATH.

10. It is recommended to install range hood above the stove, and the distance between
top of the stove to bottom of the range hood is about 700mm
9. The distance between the stove and cylinder
should be around 1m, the proper length of the inlet gas
hose is 1m-2m. One side of the hose connect the
cylinder, the other side connect the gas inlet. The hose
cannot contact any other parts of stove and thrill through
the bottom of the stove, cannot bend it forcedly.

1. Make sure all knobs are on the “off” position, then open the main gas valve
2. Press the knob down by 3mm as the follow drawing shows, then turn it counter-clockwise
until you hear ignition click, ignite the burner, then release the knob. ( it may fail to ignite
at the first time because of there is air in the hose, you have to repeat this procedure)
6. Model ETG729GTK with flame failure safety device (FFD), and the gas
supply will be cut off automatically when the flameout occurred accidently.
7. The stove has two type of trivet that be designed to heat convex bottom utensils (wok)
and pans (cookers), proper diameter of convex bottom utensil is 32cm, proper
diameter of pan is between 26-30cm. The weight of food should less then 10kg.

Detatch the stainless steel or teflon panel as following indication, and assemble
it back after clean.
Note: Deformation of the panel shall be happened after several disassemble and
assemble for several times.

Check whether there is gas in the cylinder and the
valve has been opened or damaged
