36" Gas Drop-In Cooktop Specifications
•Product Weight – 59 Lbs.
• Voltage Rating – 120V /60 Hz / 15 Amp
• Always consult local and /or national electric and
gas codes.
•Access to the underside of cooktop and junction
box must be provided for inspection and service.
•Cooktop ships with 3/4" factory regulator.
•Allow 30" minimum clearance between top of
cooktop and bottom of unprotected wood or metal
overhead cabinetry.
•Allow 24" minimum clearance when bottom of
wood or metal overhead cabinet is protected by
not less than 1/8" flame-retardant millboard
covered with not less than No. 28 MGS sheet steel,
0.015" stainless steel, 0.024" aluminum or 0.020"
copper.
•Recommended distance from rear edge of cooktop
to nearest vertical combustible surface is 2-1/2" to
backsplash or 3-1/8" to rear wall.
•Allow 7-1/2" minimum clearance from edge of
cooktop to nearest combustible wall on either side
of unit.
•Allow 2-1/2" minimum clearance between bottom
of cooktop chassis and all combustible surfaces
including upper edge of drawer installed beneath
cooktop.
•Beneath cooktop, allow 35-1/4" minimum width
between cabinet sidewalls.
•A fixed shelf should not be installed beneath
cooktop.
•Overhead cabinetry should not exceed a 13"
maximum depth.
•To reduce risk of fire when using overhead
cabinetry, install range hood that projects
horizontally a recommended minimum of 5"
beyond bottom of cabinets.

5 Sealed Burner Configuration
Five burners, one 14,000 BTU, two 12,500
BTU and two 8,500 BTU provide the
capacity to cook nearly any meal entirely
on the cooktop. The burners are sealed
for easy cleanup.

surface contains spills and aids in cleaning.
