WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated.
Do not connect any wire to the earth terminal.
WIRING SAFETY FOR UK USE ONLY
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please
proceed as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and must
be connected to the terminal marked [N] or
coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire and
must be connected to the terminal marked [L] or
coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or the blue
wire be connected to the [EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be tted with a fuse of the same
rating already tted and conforming to BS 1362
and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug tted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an
ASTA approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of
the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician who will
be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug – disconnect
it from the mains – and then cut it o of the
mains lead and immediately dispose of it in a
safe manner. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger
of an electric shock.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Clean the stick blender by holding it in a cup half lled with water and turn on for a few
seconds.
2. Important: Blades are very sharp, handle with care.
3. Never assemble, disassemble or clean when the product is connected to the mains supply.
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Cut your ingredients into small cubes.
2. Place the ingredients into a suitable
container.
3. Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
4. Place your ingredients into a container
5. Hold the container rmly.
6. Lower the blender into the container.
7. Press the switch at the top of the stick
blender.
8. To stop the blender, take your nger o
the button you have pressed.
Rest Times:
Do not operate the stick blender for more than
1 minute at a time, otherwise it will become
very hot and can become damaged.
Do not exceed 15 seconds running time of the
unit without blending ingredients.
Do not exceed 1 minute running time when
operating under high speed.
Allow the appliance to rest for a minimum of 10
minutes between blending cycles.
If you accidentally do run the stick blender for
longer than any of the stated times, unplug it
and leave it to fully cool to room temperature
before re-using.
Tips:
Roughly chop all your ingredients before
blending for best results.
Move your stick blender in a gentle up and
down movement.
Start blending at the lowest setting before
blending with the highest speed setting.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
The mixture
splashes up
when I blend.
This can happen due to the
powerful blades of the stick
blender. Try placing the end
of the blender shaft into your
mixture before turning it on,
to minimise splash.
You can also use a larger or
deeper bowl or jug.
My mixture is
not blending
Try chopping your
ingredients into smaller
pieces.
How long
can I use
the blender
for before
it needs to
rest?
Do not exceed 1 minute
running time when operating
under high speed.
Allow the appliance to rest
for a minimum of 10 minutes
between blending cycles.
Can I switch
the blender
on when it
is not being
used to
blend?
You can run the blender
without actually blending
ingredients, but do not
exceed 15 seconds running
time without blending
ingredients.
Can I use the
stick blender
to crush ice?
No, you cannot use the
blender to crush ice as this
can blunt the blades.

afewseconds.Disposeofthedirty

Storage
1. Unplug power cord from the power outlet
and clean as above.
2. Allow the appliance to dry fully.
3. If you have a hook, hang it up right to save
space.
