Limited Five Year Functional and Finish Warranty
Elkay warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the Elkay faucet
will be free from defects in material and workmanship for Five Years from
the original installation date. Elkay will, at its option, supply replacement
parts (or if no longer available a comparable product) if the faucet fails
due to a defect in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply
in the event of produce surface damage caused by abuse, misuse or im-
proper care and maintenance. This warranty excludes damage caused
by harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials. This warranty includes
all industrial, commercial and business use. Product replacement does
not include transportation cost or labor installation cost. Elkay reserves
the right to examine product in question and its installation prior to
replacement.
OTHER WARRANTY CONDITIONS ON FAUCETS
Our warranty does not cover product failure or damage caused by
abusive treatment, misuse, environmental factors, improper care and
cleaning, or damage due to handling or faulty installations. This warranty
is extended only to the original consumer purchaser of the product. This
warranty does not cover shipping costs, labor costs, or any other charges
for such items as installation or replacement of the sink, diagnosis or re-
placement of any faucet or component part, or any other expense or loss.
ALL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARE SPECIFICALLY
EXCLUDED. NO ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
ARE GIVEN. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ONE OF MER-
CHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS
LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or con-
sequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.

Care and Cleaning Instructions
1) Never use any cleaner or cleanser based cleaning material on this product.
2) Keep the faucet dry! While drying your hands, dry the faucet as well. The water in certain parts of the world can be very caustic. Any
standing water around the faucet could damage the intrinsic coating; remove it as soon as possible.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
1. Problem: Faucet does not function.
Cause: Adhesive packaging label affixed over sensor eye.
Solution: Remove adhe ive label from en or eye.
Cause: “Permanen Off” ac iva ed.
Solution: Pre button on faucet throat one time.
2. Problem: Faucet delivers water in an uncontrolled manner.
Cause: Fauce is defec ive.
Solution: Contact Elkay In tallation Engineering Dept.
3. Problem: Faucet does not deliver any water when sensor
is activated.
Indicator: Solenoid valve produces an audible “CLICK.”
Cause: Wa er supply s op(s) closed.
Solution: Open water upply top( ).
Cause: Wa er supply s op s rainer clogged
Solution: Clean water supply stop strainer(s).
Indicator: Solenoid valve DOES NOT produce an audible “CLICK.”
Cause Ba ery low.
Solution: Replace battery.
Cause: Power failure.
Solution: Check power upply.
4. Problem: Faucet delivers only a slow flow or dribble when sensor
is activated.
Cause: Wa er supply s op(s) are par ially closed.
Solution: Completely open water upply top( ).
Cause: Wa er supply s op s rainer(s) clogged.
Solution: Remove, clean and rein tall water upply top trainer( ).
Replace trainer( ) if required.
Cause: Aera or is clogged.
Solution: Remove, clean and rein tall aerator. Replace aerator if
required.
Cause: Fauce is defec ive.
Solution: Contact Elkay In tallation Engineering Dept.
5. Problem: Faucet does not stop delivering water or continues to
drip after use is no longer detected.
Cause: Fauce is defec ive.
Solution: Contact Elkay In tallation Engineering Dept.
6. Problem: LED indicator blinks when faucet is in use.
Cause: Ba ery is low.
Solution: Replace battery.
. Problem: The water temperature is too hot or too cold on a
faucet connected to hot and cold supply lines.
Cause: Supply s ops are no adjus ed properly.
Solution: Adju t upply top .
Cause: For models wi h in egral mixing valve – Mixing valve is
se improperly for he wa er empera ure desired.
Solution: Rotate mixing valve handle clockwi e to decrea e water
temperature or counterclockwi e to increa e water
temperature.

Remove label.
Transformer must
be 24" from faucet.
Activate faucet and immediately
step away. Faucet will run for 4
seconds. Wait 10 seconds after
water shuts off before using.

Activate faucet and check for
leaks. If faucet does not function,
refer to the Troubleshooting
section in this manual.
Loosen screw with hex wrench.
Remove throat plate. Disconnect
electrical leads at connector if
required.
Close supply stop(s).
Remove battery cover using a
No. 1 phillips head screwdriver.
Remove old battery and dispose
of properly.
Insert new battery. The red LED
will flash for 1 minute. Reinstall
battery cover. Reconnect electrical
lead. Reinstall throat plate. Open
supply stops.
Adjust lever to set temperature. Optional – To fix temperature, set lever to the desired position, then remove
lever and plug hole with cap.

MANUAL RANGE ADJUSTMENT
Push button 2 times (double click). Push again for 5 seconds until LED flashes
4 times, then release button and wait 5 seconds.
One (1) flash = longest range
Two (2) flashes = long range
Three (3) flashes = medium range
Four (4) flashes = short range
Five (5) flashes = shortest range
Push and hold button in as faucet continuously cycles through the above 5 range
settings. Release button at desired setting. Then water will flow for 4 seconds
signaling confirmation of setting. Wait an additional 10 seconds before using faucet.
