LOCATION OF CONTROLS AND INDICATIONS
POWER SOURCE
Battery Installation:
To install the batteries, (1.) Open the battery compartment located
on the rear of the unit by rotating the battery lock to the left or right.
(2.) Lift off the cover from the bottom edge. (3.) Insert three ‘AA’
batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram in the
compartment. To put the battery compartment cover back on, slide
the top edge in first, pressing down on the bottom edge until it
locks in place. Rotate the lock back to the original position.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
The precautions below should be followed when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. If the batteries are loaded
incorrectly the unit will not operate.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. alkaline and carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the device is not be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and repture.
CAUTION:
This unit is “Water Resistant” but it should not be placed in the direct path of the shower spray, and
it should never be fully immersed in water.
DESK OR TABLE TOP USE
This unit incorporates a stand which allows it to be used on a table or other flat surface. Just pull out
the built in stand on the back of the cabinet and let the unit rest on a desk, table or other flat surface.
TO SET THE DATE AND TIME
Note: Use the point of ball pen, a paper clip, or similar object to press the MODE and SET buttons.
1. Press the MODE button twice; the month will appear.
2. Press the SET button to set the month.
3. Press the MODE button; the day will appear.
4. Press the SET button to set the day.

5. Press the MODE button; the hour will appear.
6. Press the SET button to set the hour. Be sure to set correctly AM or PM.
7. Press the MODE button; the minutes will appear.
8. Press the SET button to set the minute.
9. Press the MODE button, then the SET button and the normal clock operation will begin.
TO AUTOMATICALLY CYCLE BETWEEN CLOCK AND DATE
To have the unit automatically cycle between the time and date every two (2) seconds, follow the steps below:
1. Press the MODE button once, the display will alternately show the time or date every two (2) seconds.
2. To cancel, press the SET button once and the seconds will appear. Continue pressing the MODE button until the time
appears.
TO MANUALLY CYCLE BETWEEN CLOCK, DATE AND SECOND
To manually cycle between the time, date and seconds, follow the steps below:
1. Press the SET button once and the date will appear.
2. Press the SET button again within two (2) seconds and the seconds will appear. If the SET button is not pressed within
two (2) seconds, the display will revert to the time.
3. Press the SET button again to return to normal clock operation.
TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO
1. Rotate the ON/OFF Volume control clockwise to turn the unit on.
2. Rotate the Band switch to selectAM or FM.
3. Tune an AM or FM station by turning the Tuning control.
4. Adjust the Volume control as desired.
5. To turn the radio off, rotate the ON/OFF Volume control counter-clockwise until
a click is heard.
ANTENNAS
This radio has built in AM and FM antenna which should provide satisfactory reception in most area.
PROPER PLACEMENT OF YOUR SHOWER RADIO
You can use the built in hanger hook to hang the radio from the shower pipe or from the shower curtain rod. The radio will not
be affected by moisture, steam, or occasional splashing, but it should not be placed in the direct path of the shower spray, and
it should never be fully immersed in water.
