Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Sie unser emmi®-pet Ultraschallgerät zur Haut- und Wundpflege Ihres Tieres
gewählt haben. Bitte lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanleitung komplett durch, damit Sie mit der Anwendung
der emmi®-pet Care, vertraut sind und die besten Ergebnisse für Ihr Tier erzielen.

Wichtig - Laden der Akkus / Nutzungsdauer pro Ladung
Bitte unbedingt darauf achten, dass das Handteil bei der Aufladung ausgeschaltet ist, da sonst keine Aufladung
erfolgt. Wenn Sie das Gerät einmal pro Tag für ca. 10 Minuten benutzen, reicht eine Akkuladung für ungefähr 10
Tage. Danach ist eine erneute Aufladung für 9-12 Stunden erforderlich.
Erstanwendung
1. Den Ultraschallaufsatz immer senkrecht aufstecken und auch senkrecht nach oben wieder
entfernen. So vermeiden Sie eine Beschädigung der Kontaktstifte des Handteils durch Verkanten.
2. Stecker der Ladestation mit der Steckdose verbinden, Handteil mit aufgestecktem
Bürstenaufsatz auf die Ladestation stecken und für 24 Stunden laden.
WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bitte die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig und komplett lesen, ebenso die beiliegenden
Warnhinweise. Um einen Stromschlag zu vermeiden, bitte Folgendes beachten:
1. Ladestation so platzieren, dass sie nicht in Badewannen oder Waschbecken fallen kann.
2. Ladestation nur auf trockenem Untergrund und in trockener Umgebung verwenden.
3. Wenn die Ladestation ins Wasser gefallen ist, nicht berühren.
Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker.
4. Ladestation nicht in der Badewanne benutzen.
LED-Anzeige
1. LED blau - LÄDT
Befindet sich das Handteil auf der Ladestation leuchtet die blaue LED.
Ist das Gerät komplett geladen, erlischt die blaue LED.
2. LED grün - AN
Ist das Gerät eingeschaltet und der Bürstenkopf aufgesteckt, leuchtet die LED permanent grün.
3. LED rot blinkend - CHECK/STÖRUNG
Ist der Akku leer oder liegt eine Störung vor, leuchtet die rote LED und das Gerät schaltet sich ab.
4. Gerät ausgeschaltet - keine Anzeige.
Zusätzliche Eigenschaften
Aufsatzerkennung (Transport Safe Funktion): ohne Aufsatz schaltet das Gerät automatisch ab und lässt sich nicht einschalten.
Die grüne LED leuchtet kurz auf und sie schaltet sich wieder ab.
Selbstabschaltung (Akku Safe Funktion): das Gerät schaltet selbständig nach 6 Minuten ab.
Ladestandkontrolle: bei voller Akkuladung erlischt die blaue LED.

Um Schäden am Gerät, Brände, Stromschläge oder Verletzungen zu verhindern, bitte Folgendes beachten:
Die Produkte dürfen nur für die in den Prospekten und den technischen Beschreibungen vorgesehenen
Einsatzfälle verwendet werden, dass heißt zur Zahnreinigung und Mundhygiene bei Mensch und Tier
und dies nur in Verbindung mit den von der Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH empfohlenen oder zugelassenen
Fremdgeräten oder Fremdkomponenten. Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als
nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch übernimmt die Emmi Ultrasonic
GmbH keine Haftung für eventuell auftretende Schäden sowie keine Garantie für ein einwandfreies und
funktionsgemäßes Arbeiten der Komponenten. Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch gehört auch das
Beachten aller Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung. Darauf weist das Symbol auf dem Typenschild hin.
Der einwandfreie und sichere Betrieb der Produkte setzt sachgemäßen Transport, sachgemäße Lagerung,
Aufstellung und Montage sowie sorgfältige Bedienung und Instandhaltung voraus. Die wiederkehrenden
Prüfungen gemäß DGUVV3 sind zu beachten. Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass der Netzstecker
der Ladestation jederzeit frei zugänglich ist.
Bestimmungswidriger Gebrauch
Bei bestimmungswidrigem Gebrauch des Produkts können sowohl Gefahren für Leib und Leben als auch
Sachbeschädigungen auftreten. Aus diesem Grund ist ein bestimmungswidriger Gebrauch untersagt.
Im Falle eines bestimmungswidrigem Gebrauchs übernimmt die Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH keine Haftung für
eventuell auftretende Schäden und keine Garantie für einwandfreies und funktionsgemäßes Arbeiten der
Komponenten. Um einen bestimmungswidrigen Gebrauch des Gerätes auszuschließen, sind folgende Hinweise
zu beachten:
Das Ultraschallgerät zur Haut- und Wundpflege darf nur mit
der Netzspannung betrieben werden, die auf dem Typenschild
(Unterseite der Ladestation) aufgedruckt ist.
Keine brennbaren oder aggressiven Chemikalien,
Säuren, Laugen o. ä. zur Reinigung verwenden.
Falls Transportschäden festgestellt werden,
die Ladestation nicht an das Stromnetz
anschließen.
Das Gerät darf nur in Innenräumen
bei Raumtemperatur betrieben werden.

Anwendung

Stecken Sie den P2 Care Aufsatz auf das emmi®-pet Handteil.
vSprühen Sie die zu behandelnde Stelle mit ausreichend Hydrogel ein.
wVerteilen Sie das Hydrogel etwas auf der Haut.
x Schalten Sie die emmi®-pet Care ein und halten Sie sie mit den Borsten auf die zu behandelnde Stelle.
x Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang 3-4 Mal pro Tag für ca. 10 min. bis die Entzündung oder Verletzung
abgeklungen ist.

Regelmäßige Anwendung
Wir empfehlen, die emmi®-pet Care zur Haut- und Wundversorgung regelmäßig anzuwenden, etwa 3- bis
4-mal pro Tag (Bis die Wunde, Entzündung oder Verletzung verheilt ist). Die Dauer der Behandlung sollte
in Abhängigkeit der Größe der zu behandelnden Stelle zwischen 5 - 10 Minuten betragen. Ultraschall ist für
Ihr Tier absolut ungefährlich. Bei kritischen Entzündungen oder starken Verletzungen werden eine längere
Behandlung und eine Kontrolle durch einen Tierarzt empfohlen.
Wie funktioniert die emmi®-pet Care in Kombination mit dem emmi®-pet Care Series
Hydrogel?
Das mitgelieferte emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel besitzt eine langanhaltende desinfizierende Wirkung
bei Wunden, Verletzungen, Entzündungen, Schnitten, Hautirritationen sowie nach Insektenstichen und
Zeckenbissen. emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel eignet sich in Kombination mit der emmi®-pet Care für schwer
zugängliche Stellen, haftet hervorragend und kann seine Wirkung über einen längeren Zeitraum entfalten.
Die zugeführten Ultraschallwellen unterstützen dabei den Heillungsprozess und die entzündungshemmende
Wirkung. Dies alles geschieht, ohne dass Ihr Tier etwas davon spürt und kann bei allen Säugetieren
jeglichen Alters angewendet werden.
WICHTIG:
Das Gerät arbeitet vibrations- und geräuschlos, um das Tier nicht zu
erschrecken oder zu verunsichern. Um sicherzugehen, dass das Gerät
korrekt arbeitet, überprüfen Sie, ob die grüne Anzeige unterhalb des
Schalters am Handteil bei Betrieb dauerhaft leuchtet. Ohne aufge-
steckten Ultraschallaufsatz lässt sich das Gerät nicht einschalten.

Wirkungsweise
Die emmi®-pet Care ist nach neuesten wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen von deutschen Ingenieuren entwickelt
worden. Im Gegensatz zu anderen handelsüblichen Hautpflegegeräten arbeitet emmi®-pet Care nicht mittels
mechanischer Reibung oder abrasiven Stoffen, sondern nutzt modernste Ultraschalltechnik ohne Abrieb. Diese
wird bereits seit Jahrzehnten in vielen Bereichen der Medizin mit großem Erfolg eingesetzt. Die Benutzung
von Ultraschall für die Hautpflege ist für Tiere absolut ungefährlich und unschädlich. Es ist wissenschaftlich
nachgewiesen, dass Ultraschall mit einer Leistung von bis zu 50 Watt für den tierischen Körper unbedenklich
ist. Die emmi®-pet Care arbeitet mit einer Leistung von 0,2 Watt.
Wirkung und Sicherheit wurde von Dermatologen überprüft. Die Ultraschallwellen werden im patentierten
Piezo-Chip im Aufsatz gebildet und erzeugen in unseren ultraschalloptimierten Produkten Millionen von
Mikrokavitäten (Mikrobläschen), die in die tiefen
Hautschichten eingeschleust werden.
Die tierische Haut besteht aus 3 unterschiedlichen
funktionalen Schichten:
• Der Oberhaut (Epidermis)
• Der Lederhaut (Dermis)
• Der Unterhaut (Subcutis)
Herkömmliche Gele wirken nur auf der Oberhaut. Dem
emmi®-pet Care Ultraschallgerät gelingt es hingegen
aufgrund seiner einmaligen Wirkweise, die Inhaltsstoffe
der emmi®-pet Care ultraschalloptimierten Produkte
bis tief in die Subcutis zu transportieren. So können
diese wirkungsvoll die Haut bei der Zellneubildung
und Regeneration unterstützen. Der positive Effekt
der Ultraschallanwendung beruht u.a. auch auf der
Freisetzung körpereigener Energien, der Verbesserung
des Lymphtransportes und der Durchblutung.
Oft wird die Meinung geäußert, Ultraschall benötige
Wasser als Übertragungsmedium. Richtig ist,
dass das geeignete Übertragungsmedium von der
Ultraschallfrequenz und der Ultraschallleistung abhängt. Dies ist zum Beispiel von medizinischen Anwendungen
her allgemein bekannt. Hier sind die geeigneten Übertragungsmedien Salben und Gele verschiedener

emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel
emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel ist eine entzündungshemmende
mittelviskose Lösung zur Ultraschallbeschallung mit der emmi®-pet Care.
emmi®-pet P2 Care Ultraschallaufsätze
emmi®-pet P2 Care ist ein Ultraschallaufsatz zur Haut- und Wundpflege.
Aus hygienischen Gründen sollte der gleiche Aufsatz nicht für mehrere
Tiere verwendet werden. Die Aufsätze müssen alle 3 Monate ersetzt
werden, da der Ultraschall die Borsten nach diesem Zeitraum weicher
macht. Je weicher die Borsten werden, umso geringer ist die Ultraschallübertragung und die Ergebnisse der

Akku-Pflege und Entsorgung
Die Akkus befinden sich im wasserdichten Handteil des Gerätes. Das Handteil kann nach Gebrauch wieder auf
die Ladestation zurückgestellt oder, wenn es voll aufgeladen ist, für bis zu ca. 10 Tage ohne Wiederaufladung
benutzt werden. Wenn die Gesamtreinigungszeit pro Tag länger als 10 Minuten beträgt, die Akkus in
einem entsprechend kürzeren Zeitraum wieder aufladen. Unbedingt darauf achten, dass die Akkus nie völlig
entladen werden. Wenn die Akkus einen kritischen Entladungswert erreicht haben, leuchtet beim Anschalten
die Anzeige nicht grün, sondern rot und beginnt zu blinken. Wenn das der Fall ist, muss das Gerät unbedingt
erneut aufgeladen werden, um eine mögliche Beschädigung der Akkus zu vermeiden. Das Gerät enthält einen
speziellen umweltfreundlichen Lithium Akku, der trotzdem nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf.
Für die Entsorgung stehen Ihnen die Sammelbehälter des GRS (Gemeinsames Rücknahmesystem) sowie
andere Rücknahmestellen zur Verfügung (z. B. alle Verkaufsstellen ähnlicher Akkus).

Garantie
Für dieses Produkt gilt eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Defekte, die während dieser
Garantiezeit in Form von Material- und /oder Herstellungsfehlern auftreten, werden kostenfrei behoben.
Dies erfolgt durch Reparatur oder Austausch. Soweit gesetzlich zulässig, sind andere Ersatzansprüche
ausgeschlossen. Die Garantieleistung entfällt beim Eingreifen Dritter bzw. bei Demontage seitens Dritter
ohne unsere vorherige schriftliche Zustimmung. Die Garantieleistung entfällt auch bei willkürlicher
Beschädigung oder fehlerhafter Handhabung. Bei Erbringung einer Garantieleistung verlängert sich der
Garantiezeitraum nicht. Für nicht gerechtfertigte Reklamationen, z.B. Installations- oder Bedienungsfehler,
behalten wir uns das Recht vor, die entstandenen Kosten in Rechnung zu stellen. Für die Inanspruchnahme

Important - Charging of batteries / Performance per charge
Please make sure that the handpiece is switched off during charging, otherwise charging will not be
possible. If you use the unit 10 minutes once a day, you can use it on the battery for approx. 10 days.
Afterwards, charging during another 9-12 hours is required.
First Use
1. Always insert the ultrasound attachment in vertical direction and remove it also vertically.
This avoids damage to the handpiece contact pin due to jamming.
2. Connect the plug to the socket, place the handpiece with ultrasound attachment
on the charging station and charge the unit for 24 hours.
IMPORTANT SECURITY ADVISE
The ultrasonic devices of Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH reflect the newest and most effective
way of dental cleaning and oral hygiene for humans and animals. Please read the user
manual carefully and completely as well as the enclosed warning notices. To avoid an
electric shock please pay attention to the below:
1. Always place the charging station in such a way that it cannot fall into bathtubs
or washbasins
2. Use the charging station on dry subsoil and in dry surrounding only.
3. In case the charging station has fallen into water, don‘t touch it.
4. Interrupt immediately the power supply.
5. Never use the charging station in the bath tub.
LED Display
1. LED blue – CHARGING
If the handpiece is on the charging station, the blue LED lights up.
When the unit is fully charged, the blue LED goes off.
2. LED green – ON
If the unit is switched on and the ultrasound attachment is inserted,
the green LED is lit continuously.
3. LED red blinking - CHECK/FAULT
If the battery is empty or faulty, the red LED lights up and the unit is switched off.
4. Unit switched off - No display
Additional features
Attachment detection (Transport Safe function): without an attachment, the unit switches off automatically and cannot be
switched on. The green LED lights up briefly and switches off again.
Automatic switch-off (Akku Safe function): the device switches off automatically after 6 minutes.
Charging status check: when the battery is fully charged, the blue LED goes out.

To avoid the risk of damages, fire, electrocution or injuries please follow the below:
Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. This means, use the device only for
the dental cleaning and oral hygiene of animals and only in conjunction with other devices and components
recommended by Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH. Any other or beyond usage is considered as not intended. In case
of not intended use Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH refuses the liabiliy for possibly appearing damages and the
guarantee for a functional operation of the components. Intended use also includes following all indications
stated in this manual. This is pointed out by the symbol on the type plate. A correct and secure operation
of the product requires appropriate transport, storage, placement and set up as well as an elaborate handling
and maintenance. The recurring testings according to DGUVV3 are to be considered. The device needs to be
positioned in a way that the power plug is freely accessible at any time.
Not Intended Use
In case of not intended use dangers for life and body as well as material damages can occur.
For this reason not intended use is permitted. In case of not intended use Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH
refuses the liabiliy for possibly appearing damages and the guarantee for a functional operation

Application

Place the P2 Care attachment on the emmi®-pet handpiece.
vSpray the area to be treated with sufficient hydrogel.
wSpread the hydrogel slightly on the skin.
x Switch on the emmi®-pet Care and hold it with the bristles on the area to be treated.
x Repeat the procedure 3-4 times a day for about 10 minutes until the inflammation or injury has

Daily Use
We recommend to use the emmi®-pet Care for skin and wound care approximately 3 to 4 times a day (Until
the wound, inflammation or injury has healed). The duration of the cleaning should be between 5 - 10 minutes
depending on the size of the treated area. Ultrasound is absolutely harmless to your animal. In case of critical
inflammation or severe injury, prolonged treatment and control by a veterinarian is recommended
How does emmi®-pet work in combination with the special emmi®-pet ultrasonic
toothpaste enriched with microbubbles?
The emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel provided has a long-lasting disinfecting effect on wounds, injuries,
inflammations, cuts, skin irritations as well as after insect bites and tick bites. emmi®-pet Care Series
Hydrogel is suitable in combination with emmi®-pet Care for hard-to-reach areas, has excellent adhesion
and can develop its effect over a longer period of time. The applied ultrasound waves support the healing
process and the anti-inflammatory effect. All this happens without your pet feeling any of it and can be used
on all mammals of any age.
IMPORTANT:
The device has a vibration and noiseless functioning in order not to frighten
or upset your animal. The correct functioning of the unit is ensured if the
green display under the switch of the handpiece is continuously lit during
operation. The unit cannot be used if the Ultrasound tip is not inserted.

How the emmi®-pet Ultrasound works
The emmi®-pet Care has been developed by German engineers according to the latest scientific findings. In
contrast to other commercially available skin care appliances, emmi®-pet Care does not work by means of
mechanical friction or abrasive materials, but uses the latest ultrasound technology without abrasion. This has
been used for decades with great success in many areas of medicine. The use of ultrasound for skin care is
absolutely safe and harmless for animals. It has been scientifically proven that ultrasound with a power of up
to 50 watts is harmless to the animal body. The emmi®-pet Care works with a power of 0.2 watts.
Effect and safety has been tested by dermatologists. The ultrasound waves are formed in the patented piezo
chip in the attachment and create millions of microcavities (microbubbles) in our ultrasound-optimised products,
which are introduced into the deep skin layers.
Animal skin consists of 3 different functional layers:
• The epidermis (epidermis)
• The sclera (dermis)
• The subcutaneous tissue (subcutis)
Conventional gels only work on the epidermis. The
emmi®-pet Care ultrasound device, on the other hand,
succeeds in transporting the ingredients of emmi®-
pet Care ultrasound-optimised products deep into
the subcutis thanks to its unique mode of action.
This means that they can effectively support the skin
in the formation of new cells and regeneration. The
positive effect of the ultrasound application is based,
among other things, on the release of the body›s own
energies, the improvement of lymph transport and blood
circulation.
The opinion is often expressed that ultrasound needs
water as a transmission medium. It is correct that
the suitable transmission medium depends on the
ultrasound frequency and the ultrasound power.
This is generally known, for example, from medical
applications. Here, the suitable transmission media are ointments and gels of various consistencies. We offer
special ultrasound-optimised products for injuries/tensions. To achieve optimum results, please always use our
ultrasound-optimised products with emmi®-pet Care.

emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel
emmi®-pet Care Series Hydrogel is an anti-inflammatory
Medium-viscosity solution for ultrasound irradiation with the emmi®-pet Care.
emmi®-pet P2 Care Ultrasonic Attachments
emmi®-pet P2 Care is an ultrasonic attachment for skin and wound care.
On hygienic grounds, a same attachment must not be used for several animals.
Replace the attachments every 3 months, because the Ultrasound softens the
bristles after this period. When the bristles are softer, the Ultrasound transmission
is reduced making the skin and wound care less efficient. Spare attachments are

Battery Care and Disposal
The battery is contained in the watertight handpiece of the unit. After use, the handpiece is to be
repositioned on the charging station. When it is fully charged, it can be used for approx. 10 days without
recharging. If the complete daily cleansing time exceeds 10 minutes, recharge the batteries within a shorter
period. Make sure that the batteries are never completely uncharged. In case the batteries have reached a
critical level, when the unit is switched on, the green display will not light up but start blinking. In such
case, recharge the unit immediately in order to avoid damages to the battery. Although the unit contains
a special environment-friendly lithium battery, do not dispose it with the normal household waste. For
disposal, community collection points as well as other containers are available (e.g. at all sale points for
similar batteries).

Warranty
For this product applies a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase. Defects which occur during the
warranty period, either material and/or production defects will be repaired or the device will be replaced at
no costs. As far as legally permissible, all other claims for compensation are excluded. The warranty doesn‘t
apply in the event of intervention by third parties or disassembly by third parties without prior written
approval by Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH. The warranty also doesn‘t apply in the event of arbitrary damage or
incorrect handling. In the event of a delivered warranty adjustment, the warranty period doesn‘t extent.
Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH reserves the right to invoice costs, incurred for unjustified complaints such as wrong
installation or operating errors. For making your warranty claim, it is necessary to store and provide the
receipt/proof of purchase stating the date of purchase. For a quick processing of your warranty claim please
send us the device, a copy of the invoice and a short written description of the defect. Please send your
claim sufficiently prepaid directly to Emmi Ultrasonic GmbH. Non-prepaid shipments can‘t be processed.
