Socket 740 939 940 CPU Installation Steps
1.
Apply heatsink compound onto the surface of installed CPU
2.
Put the heatsink on the top of the CPU and lock the retention
bracket on the both side.

at one of the side
4.
Use the screw driver to hook up the bracket at the
another side
5.
Buckle up the black plastic bracket reversely until the
“ka” sound appeared.
6.
Plug the fan power connector to the CPU fan’s power
connector on the M/B
