IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Before use check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to the one shown on the
rating plate.
3. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
4. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a authorized
service agent or a qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
6. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or hot surface.
7. Do not immerse upper part of blender into water due to the risk of electric shock.
8. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children.
9. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
10. Ensure fingers are kept well away from moving parts.
11. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used
only when the blender is not running.
12. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base without first putting
bowl properly in place.
13. The use of accessory not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries to
persons.
14. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
15. Do not use outdoors.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

NOTE: The blending blades are extremely
sharp, use caution when handling.
Before using the unit for the first time,
wipe the outside of the unit with a clean
damp cloth to remove any dust from
shipping, dry it thoroughly. Refer to p.8
for complete cleaning instructions.
USAGE - Blender
Before first use, hold the unit with blender attachment in the cup half filled with water
and turn on for a few seconds.
IMPORTANT: Do not operate unit without food or liquid, unless performing
a Quick Cleaning on p.8.
CAUTION: Blade is very sharp, handle with care. Ensure that the unit
with blender attachment is unplugged from the power outlet before
assembling or removing attachments.
1. To assemble the Blender Attachment with the
motor unit, turn the attachment clockwise
until tightened. To disassemble, just turn the
attachment counterclockwise.
2. Plug the unit with blender attachment into the
power outlet.
3. IMPORTANT: Maximum operation time on high
speed cannot exceed 60 seconds (1 minute). To
avoid spatter, don’t turn the unit on until the blade is submerged in the
food mixture. Lower the unit with blender attachment into food and
depress the switch on the top of the main body.

CAUTION: Blade is very sharp, handle with care.
1. Unplug the appliance. To disassemble, just turn the attachment counterclockwise.
Note: Do not immerse the blender attachment in water because overtime the
lubrication on the bearings may wash away.
2. Wash the blender attachment under running water, without the use of
abrasive
cleaners or detergents.
3. After finishing cleaning the blender
attachment, place it upright so that any water
which may have got in, can drain out. The blender attachment is dishwasher safe.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
QUICK CLEANING
Between processing tasks, hold the unit with blender attachment in the cup half filled
with water and turn on for a few seconds.
MAIN BODY
1. Unplug and remove the attachment. To disassemble, just turn the attachment
counterclockwise.
2. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water for cleaning as
electric shock may occur.
3. Dry thoroughly. Place the attachment back onto main unit.
4. You can use the provided Mixing Cup for blending and easy pouring.
5. For best results, use an up and down motion to blend the ingredients. For easier
blending, chop or cut the ingredients prior to blending. To avoid possible damage to the
blade, remove all of the hard materials such as pits and/or bones from the mixture before
blending.
6. If mixing soups and sauces, or any other liquids, make sure that there is about 1 inch
clearance from where the main body connects to the blender attachment.
7. To avoid spatter, turn the unit off first, letting the blade stop completely before lifting
the unit out of the food mixture. To stop the unit, simply release the switch at the top of
the main body.
8. Unplug after use.
