Adapted IHome for your IPod!
The only IPod docking station for people with physical disabilities. It’s been
adapted with six 2½" switches for easy access to the docked iPod controls.
The user can control tracks forward and backward, volume up and down,
pause, and off/on. The docking station also features a dynamic speaker for
full range of sounds, dual alarm clocks; backlight LCD with time and alarm
time, line-in jack which plays CD, MP3 players and other audio devices.
Size: 4 /2"L x 0"W x 4"H. Requires AC Transformer (included) and 3
AAA Batteries.
Operation:
. The docking station requires 3 AAA batteries (Not included). Use
alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use
rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply
lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and
new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. Battery installation: Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of
the unit. Remove the battery cover. Install 3 new “AAA” batteries.
Replace cover. Reference the OEM instructions for setting date, time,
alarm settings ect.
3. Plug the one end of the AC power transformer into the back of the
iHome and the other end in your wall outlet. Next place the appropriate
plastic docking insert for your model iPod on the top of the iHome and
then doc your iPod on the base station.
4. This iHome docking station has been adapted with large activation
switches for easy access to the docked iPod controls. The user can be in
command of the tracks forward and backwards of his chosen album or
playlist, control of the volume up and down, pause, off /on of the unit
and charging of the iPod.
5. This station also has a dynamic speaker for full range of sounds, dual
alarm clocks for separate wake times which allow the user to awaken to
his favorite song. It has a programmable snooze, backlight LCD with
time and alarm time, line-in jack which plays CD, MP3 players and other
audio devices.
Please Reference the original manufacture instructions for all of the
docking station functions and features and any additional
troubleshooting info.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: docking station does not work.
Action #1: Check all connections, AC power cord and connection of your
iPod in the docking Station...
Action #2: Make sure you have the proper plastic insert for your model iPod
in the top of the docking station.
Action #3: Make sure that there is nothing inhibiting the depression of the
control plates or holding any of the control plates down.
Care & Maintenance:
. Keep the docking station clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth
when needed.
2. Keep the docking station out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heat source.
4. Do not drop the docking station on a hard surface and do not expose it to
moisture or immerse it in water.
