Energy Sistem would like to thank you for your trust and for buying this Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi. We hope you
enjoy it.
This Wi-Fi system gives an amazing 2.1 sound with 60 W output power and lot of possibilities to play your
favourite songs around the house either via Bluetooth, external memories or audio-in connections.
We recommend you to read this manual in order to enjoy your device safely and with maximum performance.
Care and maintenance
Do not expose your Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi to humidity or high temperatures.
Do not press the speaker cones.
Do not use corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.
Please do not dismantle the device. All repairs should be done exclusively by qualified staff of Energy Sistem
Technology, S.A.

Please make sure that your Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi is off if you are not using it.

Connectivity and commands
In order to select different functions, press CHANGE FUNCTION (4). You will be able to see the selected function on
screen. If no device is connected to the USB and SD/MMC inputs, the CHANGE FUNCTION (4) button will change between
APP, Bluetooth and Audio input 2.
In case that you connect a device to any of the USB or SD onputs, the Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi will change automatically
to that function. If one or all inputs are being used, you will be able to change between all the available functions by
pressing the CHANGE FUNCTION (4) button.

Switching the tower on and off
Once the Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi has been plugged into a socket, turn it on by moving the ON-OFF SWITCH (16) on the
back side of the tower to the "ON" position. From that moment on, you can turn it on or off by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE
button (8) on the top display for 2 seconds or the ON/OFF button (23) on your remote control.
If you are not going to use the tower for a long period of time, we recommend, not only to switch it off from the top
display but also to turn the ON-OFF SWITCH (16) to the "OFF" position.
Downloading the Wi-Fi app
Please download the Wi-Fi app and make the most of your speaker:
Control the speaker from your smartphone or tablet. You can control it from several devices at the same time.
Connect several Wi-Fi speakers to play the content you want in a synchronized way or individually (Multiroom
Mode).
Explore online radio stations with TuneIn.
Listen to your favourite music on Spotify.
Download the app from the Play Store or the App Store directly by searching for the "Wi-Fi" application.
Initial settings
Follow these instructions to define your speaker's settings:
1) Switch your Wi-Fi speaker on and wait 15 seconds. A sound will indicate that the speaker is ready to be used in APP

mode.
2) Run the app and select the "Add Device" option. Please verify that the device is connected to your private Wi-Fi
network.
3) Enter the password that you use to connect to your private Wi-Fi network and press "Next".

4) Press and hold your speaker's Wi-Fi SYNC (4) button until you hear "Wating for Wi-Fi connection". A voice message
will confirm that the synchronization has been established successfully. If this does not happen, please repeat once
again the process starting at point 1).
5) Choose the name you want to give to your speaker. You can choose your speaker's name from a list or predefined
names but also have the option of creating the name you want through the "custom" option.

Once you have selected your speaker's name, press "Done". Your speaker is now ready!
Note: there is an alternative option to establish the connection between your speaker and your private Wi-Fi network.
Please take a look at the "How to make your speaker connect to your Wi-Fi network" section.
Playback settings
Once you have definded your speaker's settings, you have the following options to playback your favourite music:
How to use the Wi-Fi app
In the app's main menu you will find 4 categories:

Favourites
This option will enable you to access the songs that you like most and that have been previously saved quite fast. This
list has been conceived to add and delete songs more easily.
My music
Playback the songs that you have stored on your device. In order to make it easier, songs are sorted out into Albums
and Artists. Furthermore, you will be able to create your own playlists and access the last played tracks. In case that
one USB stick or SD card is connected to your speaker, you will also have the possibility of accessing these external
memories and select the song you want to hear. If you access the additional information of a certain music track, you
will be able to add this song to favourites or to the current playlist as well as take a look at the additional information.
TuneIn
Use this option to enjoy a wide selection of online radio stations. You will be able to listen to all types of music from all
over the world as well as your favourite sport programmes.
Spotify
If you have a Spotify Premium account, you can also listen to your favourite music on your Multiroom speaker with this
option. This option is available on the app's main menu.
Play modes that don't need the Wi-Fi app
Apart from the above mentioned play options, you can control all other external play modes through the app. However,
it is not necessary to use the app to enable the following external inputs:
Bluetooth
Change the play mode by pressing your speaker's MODE (4) button and select the Bluetooth mode (the letters "-bt-" will
appear on your speaker's screen). Once you have selected this mode, connect to your Multiroom via Bluetooth. You
won't need any code to establish the connection.
This is the perfect option to play online videos from your device.

Removable USB/SD memories
If you connect an USB or SD external memory to your speaker, it will start the USB/SD mode automatically. You can play
MP3 and WAV files that have been saved to your external memories and change the mode by pressing the MODE (4)
button on your speaker.
Audio inputs
Your Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi has two audio inputs to connect any external device.
AUX 1. It is on one side of the top display. 3.5 mm mini jack input. All other play modes will be muted when the
speaker detects the input signal.
AUX 2. Is is on the tower's back part. RCA stereo input. This input has been conceived to connect your TV or
music system permanently. You will be able to enable and disable the use of these inputs through the MODE (4)
option.
Do you have more Wi-Fi speakers?
Connect them and enjoy the Multiroom mode
You can connect several speakers to your private Wi-Fi network and control them using your smartphone, tablet or
different devices simultaneously.
Once the first speaker's initial settings have been set, select the "+" option and follow the steps described in the "Initial
settings" section to connect your second Wi-Fi speaker.
Repeat the same steps to connect more speakers. You can connect up to 8 speakers in Multiroom mode.

Control the music on each speaker with this app. Each speaker is represented by one track. You can play different music
content on each speaker or the same song through all of them simultaneously.
Individual Multiroom Mode
This Multiroom mode is set by default. Each speaker will play music independently and you can control each of them
using the application or interacting directly with the device by touching the top display. You will know that this play
mode is active by looking the app since each device will appear in one line within the "List of devices" menu.
Synchronized Multiroom Mode
This synchronized Multiroom mode enables to play the same music on all speakers at the same time. In order to define
the play mode settings using the app, please go to "List of devices" in the app and press the device that you want to
connect to other speaker and then, drag it to another track maintaining contact. Wait a few seconds and you will see
that both devices are now synchronized. The synchronized tracks will appear on the app screen. This way, you will
create groups comprising a master speaker and the rest of speakers.

You can assign a different channel to each speaker.
L = Left channel
R = Right channel
LR = Stereo
The synchronized mode remains active until it is disabled manually, so if you change the master speaker's play mode
through the CHANGE FUNCTION (4) button, for instance, to Bluetooth mode, you will be able to stream the contents via
Bluetooth to all synchronized speakers.
To enable the Individual Multiroom Mode again you only have to press on the synchronized secondary speaker and once
selected, drag it under the dotted line on screen. You will see that the white broken line disappears. Wait a few seconds
and the processto end the synchronized mode will be completed.
How to connect to the speaker's own network
The Multiroom speakers create their own Wi-Fi network in order to interact with all other devices that belong to the
same product range. These networks can be identified easily since the default name follows the "Multiroom_XXXX"
structure in which XXXX is a unique indicator of each device. The network's name can certainly be modified accesing
the device setup wizard. For more information, please see "Wi-Fi setup wizard".
You can connect directly to the Wi-Fi network created by your speaker. This network is encrypted by default and uses a
WAP-PSK (AES) password. The default password is 0123456789. We recommend to change this password for another
one that you can easily remember. You will be able to do this from the application, through the "Device information"
menu, or from the device setup wizard. For more information, please see "Wi-Fi setup wizard".

The main advantage of this mode is that:
You don't need a router.
Limitations:
You won't have access to the Internet on the device that you're currently using.
How to connect your speaker to your PC
The Multiroom speakers use a wireless communication protocol from Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) to
communicate with each other via the Wi-Fi network that they have created. This gives you the possibility to connect the
speaker to other devices that work with these types of protocols such as devices with Linux or Windows operating
systems. It can also be used with AirPlay protocol (Mac OS).
1) Windows 10:
1.1) Connect to the device's network. For more information please see "How to connect to the speaker's network".
1.2) Access the Device Manager (Control Panel->Hardware and sound->Add device->Active devices). Wait for the
device to appear and add it as an external device. It will appear with the net's name. Please wait until the connection is
set up correctly.
1.3) Stream your music to your speaker. Access the Windows Media Player, select the songs that you want to stream to
your speaker, open the additional settings menu (right click) and once there search for the "stream to a device" option.
To finish, you just have to select your speaker in the list that appears.
2) Linux:
2.1) Connect to the speaker's Wi-Fi network. For more information please see "How to connect to the speaker's
network".
2.2) Open the terminal and enter the following commands to install the pulseaudio-dlnam package, which enables
streaming to other devices using DLNA protocol:
sudo add-apt repository ppa:qos/pulseaudio-dlna
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pulseaudio-dlna
pulseaudio-dlna
2.3) Access the Audio Manager of your operating system and select the Multiroom Wi-Fi speaker as audio output.
3) Mac OS:
3.1) Connect to the speaker's Wi-Fi network. For more information please see "How to connect to the speaker's
network".
3.2) Open iTunes, use the AirPlay protocol and select the device as external player.
Sound equalizer
Your Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi has two controllers at the back that enable users to adjust equalization:
Adjust Treble (17). This function is indicated as "Treble".
Adjust Bass (15). This function is indicated as "Bass".
You can also choose one of the five preset equalizers by pressing the EQUALIZATION button on the top display (3) or on
the remote control (26):
EQ 0: Normal.

EQ 1: Pop.
EQ 2: Rock.
EQ 3: Jazz.
EQ 4: Classic.
Charging devices
Your Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi includes two USB CHARGING PORTS (12) to connect an USB cable and charge other devices
such as smartphones, tablets or MP3 Players, even if the tower is playing music.
Technical specifications of USB CHARGING PORTS:
Voltage = 5V
Current = 2A
Any device that requires more than 5V voltage cannot be charged.
How to change the speaker's language
You can change the speaker's language using the app. Access the speaker's settings by pressing the Settings icon that
appears on the right upper corner of the audio track:
Then, select "Speaker info" and the menu to select the speaker's language will appear. There are two languages
available: English and Spanish.

Restore default settings.
You can delete the current settings and restore factory settings. To do so, select the "APP" mode and press and hold
Restore settings (5) for 10 seconds. You will hear a voice message indicating the process has started. Wait for
approximately 2 minutes until the process finishes.
How to make your speaker connect to your Wi-Fi network
You have two alternative options to establish the connection apart from the standard procedure that has been
described in the "Initial settings" section.
The first option consists in connecting to the speaker's network. For more information please see the "How to connect to
your speaker's network". Once the connection has been established, you need to access the device intallation wizard
and force the speaker to connect to a specific network, as explained in the "Wi-Fi setup wizard" section.
The second option to connect the speaker consists in using the app. This option is only available for Android devices. If
after completing the device connection process you get an error message, you can access a window with the steps to
set up the Wi-Fi network and restart searching. Press "Manually connect to a network".

At this moment you have to run the app in the background (without closing it) and access your device Wi-Fi settings.
You will have to connect to the speaker's Wi-Fi network next. For more information please see "How to connect to the
speaker's network". Once you have done this, restore the app to full-screen again so that you return to the point where
you were. Now the "Next" option, which was hidden, will appear on the screen upper corner.

Press this button to access the menu with all networks that can be accessed from the speaker. Select the network you
want and set it up if necessary. This way, you will have forced the speaker to connect to your private network.
Minimum router requirements
In order for the speakers to work via Wi-Fi correctly, the router of your private network must fulfill the following
requirements:
For the Wi-Fi, you will need a 2.4 GHz band. The Multiroom system is not compatible with 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands.
It is necessary that the net to which you connect the speaker is encrypted with a WAP PSK key via AES or that it
doesn't use a password at all.
The router has to support the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) in order to enable the communication
with the speakers.
The net to which you want to connect the speaker has to enable the SSID broadcast.
Considerations related to advanced router settings that can cause problems:
Assign static IP addresses.
Filter the connections by MAC adresses.
The router is being used as a portal. If in order to access the Internet it is necessary to set up a net
access code from an Internet browser, it won't be possible to set up the speaker so that it can connect to
these type of routers.
Network environments with high levels of noise or a low performance level between router and speaker can
result in mistakes that affect settings. Please verify that the distance between the speaker and the router is not
excessively long and that the Wi-Fi channel is not overflowed.
Wi-Fi setup wizard
Your Multiroom Tower Wi-Fi comes with a Wi-Fi setup wizard to adjust all the Wi-Fi parameters of your speaker.
There are two options to run the setup wizard:

The first one consists in connecting to the network's Tower. In order to know how to connect to this net, please1.
see the "How to connect to the speaker's net" section and access the 10.10.10.254. IPS address from an
Internet browser.
The second option consists in accesing the speaker's IP address from a device connected to the same network2.
as the speaker using an Internet browser. This IP address appears in the "Speaker info" option within the apps
settings menu.
Once you have accessed, the "Wi-Fi" menu will appear. You will access the speaker's network information through this
settings menu. The active network's name will appear on top of the screen while a list of all available networks will be
shown below. If you select any network from the list, the active Wi-Fi network selected for your speaker will change to
that one.
Within the "Settings" menu we will find three tabs. The "Status" tab contains general information on the device such as
specifications, firmware versions or the IP address if we are connected to any network.
In the "System" tab you will find the option to change the language of the Setup wizard. It is necessary to save all
modifications by pressing the "Save" button. The speaker's firmware can be updated manually or online. You can also
restore the default settings to return to the state by default.
The "Network" tab offers you the possibility of changing the password, the type of encryption as well as the name of the
speaker's Wi-Fi network.

This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any failure of the product
