Dieser Verwendungshinweis ersetzt nicht die Gebrauchsanwei-
sung des verwendeten Kryochirurgiegeräts! Lesen Sie die Ge-
brauchsanweisung des Kryochirurgiegeräts und fragen Sie in
Zweifelsfällen Erbe oder Ihren Vertreiber!
1 Zweckbestimmung
Mit den Fußschaltern können die dafür vorgesehenen Geräte von
Erbe aktiviert bzw. deaktiviert werden.
2 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Dieses Produkt ist zum Anschluss an das ERBECRYO 2 Kryochir-
urgiegerät bestimmt.
Das Produkt ist AP-geschützt.
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen von IPX8.
WARNUNG!
3 Sicherheitshinweise
Dieses Produkt darf nur von ausgebildetem medizinischen Per-
sonal, das anhand des Verwendungshinweises in dessen Ge-
brauch eingewiesen wurde, verwendet werden.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Magnetre-
sonanztomographen (MRI) verwendet werden.
Das Produkt, insbesondere die Isolation des Anschlusskabels, vor
jeder Anwendung auf Beschädigungen prüfen.
Andere Kontrollen, als in diesem Verwendungshinweis beschrie-
ben, müssen nicht durchgeführt werden.

Falls schadhaft, dieses Produkt nicht verwenden!
Niemals auf dem Patienten oder in dessen unmittelbarer Nähe
ablegen!
Schützen Sie das Produkt vor jeglicher mechanischen Beschädi-
gung! Nicht werfen! Keinerlei Gewalt anwenden! Falls vorhan-
den und nicht anders erwähnt, Kabel weder knicken noch um das
zugehörige Produkt wickeln!
Erbe Elektromedizin warnt ausdrücklich davor, das Produkt zu
verändern. Jede Veränderung führt zum Ausschluss der Haftung
durch Erbe Elektromedizin.
4 Anwendungshinweise
4.1 Nur gereinigte und desinfizierte Produkte
verwenden
Produkt vor der ersten Anwendung und vor jeder Wiederanwen-
dung reinigen und desinfizieren.
4.2 Produkt akklimatisieren
Wenn das Produkt bei Temperaturen unter +10 °C transportiert
oder gelagert wurde, lassen Sie das Produkt ca. 3 Stunden bei
Raumtemperatur akklimatisieren.
4.3 Produkt kontrollieren
Das Produkt, insbesondere die Isolation des Anschlusskabels, vor
jeder Anwendung auf Beschädigungen prüfen.
Falls schadhaft, dieses Produkt nicht verwenden!

4.4 Produkt anschließen und aufstellen
Stecken Sie den Fußschalterstecker in die Fußschalterbuchse auf
der Rückseite des Gerätes. Sichern Sie danach den Stecker, in-
dem Sie die Überwurfmutter zudrehen.
Stellen Sie den Fußschalter auf ebenem Boden kippsicher auf.
Fußschalterkabel nicht über dem Boden aufspannen, sondern
auf dem Boden verlegen (Stolpergefahr).
4.5 Funktionstest durchführen
Führen Sie vor jeder Anwendung einen Funktionstest durch.
4.6 Funktion des Fußschalterpedals
Mit dem weißen Pedal des Fußschalters aktivieren Sie die Ge-
frierfunktion des ERBECRYO 2.
5 Reinigen und Desinfizieren
5.1 Sicherheitshinweise für die Aufbereitung
Temperatur von max. 75 °C nicht überschreiten!
Erbe empfiehlt eine Wisch- oder Sprühdesinfektion mit einem
geeigneten Desinfektionsmittel. Beachten Sie die Angaben des
Desinfektionsmittelherstellers zu Eignung und Konzentration.
Nicht sterilisieren!

5.2 Manuelle Reinigung und Desinfektion
Produkt unmittelbar nach Gebrauch mit Wasser abspülen und
mit einer alkalischen Reinigungslösung waschen.
Produkt nach der Reinigung desinfizieren. Dabei die Angaben
des Desinfektionsmittelherstellers zu Eignung und Konzentrati-
on des Mittels unbedingt beachten.
Produkt bei einer Temperatur von max. 75 °C trocknen.
5.3 Maschinelle Reinigung und Desinfektion
Bei starken Verschmutzungen kann dieses Produkt mit einem
chemisch-thermischen Verfahren in der Waschmaschine aufbe-
reitet werden. Dieses Verfahren kann die Lebensdauer des Pro-
duktes verkürzen. Temperatur von max. 75 °C nicht überschrei-
ten! Produkt unbedingt sicher fixieren!
6 Entsorgung
Das Produkt, Verpackungsmaterial und Zubehör (wenn vorhan-
den) nach den jeweils geltenden länderspezifischen Vorschriften
und Gesetzen entsorgen.

IMPORTANT!
Please read all information carefully.
These instructions for use do not replace the user manual of the
cryosurgical unit used! Read the user manual of the cryosurgical
unit and ask Erbe or your distributor in case of doubt!
1 Intended use
The footswitches can be used to activate or deactivate the Erbe
units intended for this purpose.
2 Normal use
This product is intended for connection to the ERBECRYO 2 cryo-
surgical unit.
The product is AP protected.
The product satisfies the requirements of IPX8.
WARNING!
3 Safety instructions
This product may be used only by trained medical staff, who
have been shown how to use it according to the instructions for
use.
This product must not be used in the immediate vicinity of mag-
netic resonance tomographs (MRI scanners).
The product, and in particular the connecting cable's insulation,
must be checked for damage before each use.
Checks other than those described in these instructions for use
do not need to be carried out.

If damaged, do not use this product!
Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Protect this product from any form of mechanical damage! Do
not throw! Do not use force! If there is a cable, and unless stated
otherwise, do not kink it or wrap it around the accompanying
product!
Erbe Elektromedizin expressly warns against modifying the
product. Any modification exempts Erbe Elektromedizin from
any and all liability.
4 How to use
4.1 Only use cleaned and disinfected products
Clean and disinfect the product before using it for the first time
and before each subsequent use.
4.2 Acclimatizing the product
If the product has been stored or transported at temperatures
below +10 °C, allow the product to acclimatize at room tempera-
ture for approx. 3 hours.
4.3 Checking the product
The product, and in particular the connecting cable's insulation,
must be checked for damage before each use.
If damaged, do not use this product!

4.4 Connecting and setting up the product
Connect the footswitch plug into the footswitch socket on the
rear of the unit. Secure the plug in place by tightening the lock
nut.
Place the footswitch on a level floor where it cannot tip over.
Do not allow the footswitch cable to stretch above floor level
(risk of tripping). Instead, lay it on the floor.
4.5 Conducting a performance test
Before every use conduct a performance test.
4.6 Function of the footswitch pedal
Use the white footswitch pedal to activate the ERBECRYO 2
freeze function.
5 Cleaning and disinfection
5.1 Safety instructions for processing
Do not exceed a temperature of max. 75 °C!
Erbe recommends wiping or spray disinfection with an appropri-
ate disinfectant. Comply with the disinfectant manufacturer's
stipulations as to its suitability and concentration.
Do not sterilize!

5.2 Manual cleaning and disinfection
Rinse the product with water immediately after use and wash it
with an alkaline cleaning solution.
Disinfect the product after cleaning. When doing so, always
check the instructions provided by the disinfectant manufacturer
to ensure that the agent is suitable and of the correct concentra-
tion.
Dry the product at a temperature of max. 75 °C.
5.3 Cleaning and disinfection by machine
If heavily soiled, this product can be cleaned using a chemical/
thermal process in the washing machine. This method can short-
en the product's life span. Do not exceed a temperature of
max. 75 °C! It is essential that the product is fixed securely in
place!
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product, packaging material and accessories (if
available) in accordance with the national guidelines and legis-
lation applicable in each case.

cryochirurgie utilisé. Veuillez s'il vous plaît lire le mode d'emploi
de l'appareil de cryochirurgie et vous adresser à Erbe ou à votre
distributeur si vous avez des questions ou des doutes.
1 Destination
Les pédales permettent d’activer ou de désactiver les dispositifs
appropriés de Erbe.
2 Utilisation conforme
Ce produit est destiné à être raccordé à l'appareil de cryochirur-
gie ERBECRYO 2.
Le produit présente une protection AP.
Le produit satisfait aux exigences de la norme IPX8.
AVERTISSEMENT !
3 Consignes de sécurité
Ce produit ne doit être utilisé que par un personnel médical com-
pétent qui a été formé pour utiliser ce produit conformément aux
instructions d'utilisation.
Ce produit ne doit pas être utilisé à proximité immédiate de to-
mographes à résonnance magnétique (IRM).
Avant chaque utilisation, contrôler l'intégrité du produit, en par-
ticulier celle de l'isolation du câble de raccordement.

Il n'est pas nécessaire d'effectuer d'autres contrôles que ceux
décrits dans cette notice d'utilisation.
Ne pas utiliser ce produit s'il est endommagé.
Ne jamais déposer sur le patient ni à proximité immédiate de ce-
lui-ci.
Protéger ce produit contre tout dommage mécanique. Ne pas je-
ter. Ne jamais forcer. Sauf mention contraire, ne pas plier le câble
éventuel ni l’enrouler autour de l’équipement dont il fait partie.
Erbe Elektromedizin met expressément en garde contre toute
modification du produit et décline toute responsabilité dans un
tel cas.
4 Consignes d'utilisation
4.1 Utiliser uniquement des produits nettoyés et
désinfectés
Nettoyer et désinfecter le produit avant la première utilisation et
avant chaque réutilisation.
4.2 Acclimater le produit
Si le produit a été transporté ou stocké à des températures infé-
rieures à +10 °C, laisser le produit s’acclimater à température
ambiante pendant env. 3 heures.
4.3 Contrôler le produit
Avant chaque utilisation, contrôler l'intégrité du produit, en par-
ticulier celle de l'isolation du câble de raccordement.
Ne pas utiliser ce produit s'il est endommagé.

4.4 Raccorder le produit et le mettre en place
Introduire le connecteur de la pédale dans la sortie qui se trouve
à l'arrière de l'appareil. Serrer l'écrou pour immobiliser le
connecteur.
Placez l'interrupteur à pédale sur un sol plan de façon à ce qu'il
ne puisse pas basculer.
Ne pas tendre le câble de l'interrupteur à pédale mais le poser
au sol (risque de chute).
4.5 Effectuer le test de fonctionnement
Vérifier le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil avant chaque em-
ploi.
4.6 Fonction de la pédale
La pédale blanche sert à activer la fonction congélation de
l'ERBECRYO 2.
5 Nettoyage et désinfection
5.1 Consignes de sécurité appliquées au retraitement
Ne pas dépasser la température max. de 75 °C!
Erbe recommande de désinfecter l’appareil par essuyage ou va-
porisation avec un désinfectant approprié. Pour savoir si le dé-
sinfectant est approprié et connaître la concentration à utiliser,
suivre les indications du fabricant du désinfectant.
Ne pas stériliser.

5.2 Nettoyage et désinfection manuels
Immédiatement après utilisation, laver le produit avec de l’eau et
une solution de lavage alcaline.
Désinfecter le produit après le nettoyage. Respecter ici impéra-
tivement les indications du fabricant du désinfectant ainsi que la
concentration du produit.
Sécher le produit à une température n’excédant pas 75 °C.
5.3 Nettoyage et désinfection en machine
En cas de fortes salissures, ce produit peut être nettoyé avec un
procédé chimico-thermique dans le lave-linge. Cette procédure
peut réduire la longévité du produit. Ne pas dépasser une tem-
pérature max. de 75 °C! Fixer impérativement le produit de ma-
nière sûre!
6 Élimination
Éliminez le produit, le matériau d’emballage et les accessoires (si
disponibles) conformément aux règlements et lois en vigueur
dans le pays.
