SAFETY GUIDELINES - PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
1. This product should not be used without proper instruction from a
healthcare professional.
2. This product has a maximum user weight limitation of 500 lb. -
EVENLY DISTRIBUTED. The product is NOT designed to support the
total weight of individuals.
3. GF Health Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any damage or
injury caused by improper installation, assembly or use of this product.
4. If components are damaged or missing, contact your distributor
immediately. DO NOT use substitute parts.
5. Before use, ensure tip is properly seated and straight. Check rubber tip
for rips, tears, cracks or wear. If any of these conditions exist, replace
rubber tip immediately.
6. Always use caution when using this product on wet or slippery surfaces.
7. Inspect product weekly for proper function and wear. If any component
is not in proper working order or appears worn, contact your Lumex
dealer for repair and/or appropriate replacement parts.
8. Single push button height adjustment MUST be fully engaged and
protruding through height adjustment hole on cane to ensure a
positive lock. ALWAYS test to see that cane handle is properly and
securely locked in place BEFORE using.
9. Make sure locking collet is securely tightened at all times.
10.When using a Quad cane, the cane should be placed on a level
walking surface with all four legs in contact with the surface. Use of
cane in a fashion other than this can lead to eventual cane damage
and/or personal injury.

INSTALLATION WARNINGS
• GF Health Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any damage or
injury caused by improper installation, assembly or use of this product.
• Inspect product weekly or on a set routine preventative maintenance
schedule for normal wear and tear. If any component is not in proper
working order or appears worn, contact your Lumex dealer for repair
and/or appropriate replacement parts.
• ALWAYS test to see that the product is properly secured in open
position BEFORE use and ensure all hardware is securely tightened.
• Before use, ensure that all assembled parts are secure and all hardware
is tightened.
• Care should be taken to ensure that all height adjustments are secure.
• ALWAYS observe the user weight limitation on the hangtag of this product.

MAINTENANCE
• Wipe product weekly with a damp cloth.
• Grips may be cleaned with mild soap or detergent. DO NOT use organic
solvents, such as acetone, which may damage grip.
• Never use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on any
part of the product.
• Check locking collet weekly for tightness.
• Replace cane tip as needed.
• To guarantee the best service from your product, always specify Lumex
replacement parts, available from your GF Health Products, Inc. distributor.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Please Read all Instructions Before Use.
This cane is designed for users with recommended heights ranging from
4' 10" to 6' 4". Please consult a healthcare professional for the proper
height adjustment and usage.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen locking collet by twisting counter-clockwise.
2. Adjust cane height: Depress push button and slide lower section
upward or downward to desired height..
NOTE: An audible “click” will be heard when push button securely
protrudes through the adjustment hole.
3. Secure locking collet by turning clockwise until tight.

LIMITED WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants to the original retail purchaser or
lessee (either is the “Customer”) only, that it will replace or repair components,
at GF’s sole discretion, that are defective in material or workmanship under
normal use and service. The warranty is for parts only and does not include
labor or costs of shipping. All warranties are conditioned upon the proper use
of the product strictly in accordance with applicable GF instructions. Product
provided to users as rentals must be serviced by the provider and inspected
prior to delivery. Each user must be properly trained on the operation and
safety of this product prior to use. Within the guidelines set forth in this
document, the frame is warranted for three (3) years and the normal wear
components such as tips, wheels/casters, and handgrips are warranted
for three (3) months. The applicable warranty period shall commence from
date of shipment to the Customer, unless there is an expiration date on
the component in which case the warranty shall expire on the earlier of the
warranty period or the expiration date.
OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
This limited warranty shall only apply to defects that are reported to
the Dealer from whom the Customer purchased the product within the
applicable warranty period. If there is not a Dealer, you must contact GF
directly by calling [phone], sending a fax request to [phone]
or by e-mailing a request to cs@grahamfield.com. Specic directions will
be provided by the Customer Service Representative.
EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover and GF shall not be liable for the following:
1) Defects, damage, or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse,
negligence, alteration, accident, freight damage, tampering or failure to seek
and obtain repair or replacement in a timely manner; 2) Products not installed,
used, or properly cleaned and maintained; and 3) Labor or shipping charges.

State laws governing the warranty of this product may provide more
expanded rights than those set forth in this warranty.

el ferretería esta apretado.
• Se debe tener cuidado para asegurar que todos los ajustes de altura
sean seguros.
• SIEMPRE observa la limitación de peso del usuario en el "hangtag" de

INSTRUCCIONES PARA USO
Lea y Entiende Todas Las Instrucciones Antes de Uso.
Este bastón es diseñado para usuarios con alturas recomendados de 4'
10" a 6' 4". Por favor de consultar con un profesional de cuido de salud
para ajuste de altura y uso apropiado.
AJUSTE DE ALTURA
1. Aoja la cerradura retorsando en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj.
2. Ajuste la altura del bastón. Apreté el botón y deslice la sección inferior
arriba y abajo a la altura deseado.
NOTE: Un “clic” audible se oye cuando el botón se sobresale segura-
mente por el hueco de ajustamiento.
3. Asegura la cerradura retorsando en el sentido de las agujas del reloj
hasta que este ajustado.

GARANTIA LIMITADA
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) garantía al comprador original o
arrendatario (cual quiera is el “Cliente”) solamente, que va reemplazar
o reparar componentes, a la decisión solo de GF, cuales son defectos
en material o calidad utilizado normalmente y con servicio. La garantía
es para partes solamente y no incluye fuerza laboral o el costo de
transporte. Todas garantías con condicionales por el uso apropiado del
product estrictamente en acuerdo con las instrucciones aplicables de
GF. Producto próvido a usuarios como réntales deben ser serviciados
por el proveedor y inspeccionado antes de entrega. Cada usuario debe
ser preparado en la operación y seguridad de este producto antes de

garantía por tres (3) anos y los componentes de uso normal como puntas,
ruedas y manijas tienen garantía por tres (3) meses. El periodo de garantía
se comencia en la fecha de transporte al Cliente a menos que haya una
fecha de expiración en el componente en cual la garantía se expira en la
periodo de garantía o la fecha de expiración.
OBTENIENDO SERVICIO DE GARANTIA
La garantía limitada solamente aplica a defectos reportados al Distribuidor
de quien el Cliente compro el producto dentro el periodo de garantía
aplicable. Si no hay Distribuidor, debes llamar a GF directamente

a cs@grahamfield.com. Direcciones especícos se van a dar por el
Representante de Servicio De Clientes.
EXCLUSIONES
La garantía no cubre y GF será responsable por lo siguiente: 1) Defectos,
daño o otras condiciones causadas por mal uso, abuso, negligencia,
alteración, accidente, daño de transporte o falta de buscar y obtener reparo
o repuesto en manera puntual; 2) Productos no instalados, utilizados
or mantenidos correctamente; y 3) Cargos de Labor o transporte. Otras
