STEP 2. Aaching the Vercal Support Tube
Insert the Vercal Support Tube (6) into the Support Plate (1) (Figure 3)
Feed the M10x55 carriage bolt (4) through the end loop on the Pin Assembly (3) and insert the M10x55 carriage
bolts into the top hole in the center of the Support Plate using the M10 Locknut (5) to secure. Insert the Pin
Assembly into the boom hole and use the aached pin to secure. (Figure 4)

STEP 3. Aaching the Hitch Receiver Tube
Insert the Hitch Receiver Tube (7) into the square hole on the support plate (1). (Figure 5)
To secure insert the M10x50 carriage bolt (8) through the hole on the side and ghten using
the M10 Locknut (5). (Figure 5)
On the boom of the support plate (1) screw in the M10x16 hexagon bolt into the threaded hole
to nish securing the Hitch Receiver Tube (7). (Figure 6)

Assembling the Bicycle Carrier:
STEP 1. Aaching the Wheel Support Tubes
Insert the Wheel Support Tubes (2) into the Support Plate (1) (Figure 1)
Feed the M10x55 carriage bolts (4) through the end loop on the Pin Assembly (3) and insert the M10x55
carriage bolts into the boom outside hole of the support plate. Use the M10 Locknut (5) to secure.
Insert the Pin Assembly into the boom inside hole and use the aached pin to secure. (Figure 2)

STEP 5. Aached the Securing Hooks
The short and long securing hooks (12 & 13) slide down the vercal support tube (6). (Figure 8)
You will hear clicking sounds as it passes over each notch.

STEP 6. Mounng the carrier to your vehicle
If you have a 1 ¼” hitch receiver, the hitch receiver tube will t your vehicle. Simply insert the hitch receiver tube
into your vehicle’s receiver. Slide the spring washer (15) and at washer (16) onto the an-wobble pin (14) and
insert into the hole on your vehicle’s receiver. Use the hitch pin lock (18) to secure.
If you have a 2” hitch receiver, you will need to add the 2” adapter (17) to the hitch receiver tube (7). Then insert
the hitch receiver tube into your vehicle’s receiver. Slide the spring washer (15) and at washer (16) onto the
an-wobble pin (14) and insert into the hole on your vehicle’s receiver. Use the hitch pin lock (18) to secure.

STEP 4. Aaching the Tire Holders
Slide the right and le re holders (10 & 11) onto the wheel support tube (2) and ghten using
the knob. (Figure 7)
TIP: Noce they slide on opposite from one side to the other. Ex. On the right, slide the front holder on
rst, then the back. On the le, slide the back holder on rst, then the front.

Mounng the Bicycle on the Carrier:
STEP 1. Prepare to mount bikes
You will want to mount the bike closest to the vehicle rst. Pull the pin assembly from the boom
hole in vercal support tube (6) so that it can lay down.

STEP 2. Adding Bike 1
Set the bike on the re holders. For the rst me mounng, you will have to posion the re holders. Be sure
your bicycle is centered behind your vehicle. Bring the vercal support tube back upright and reinsert the pin.
Slide the securing hook down the vercal support tube to secure. (Figure 11)
Mounng Tip: Short and Tall Bike
The bicycle with the lowest frame should be set onto the carrier rst. Use the short hook to secure,
then set the larger or taller bike onto the carrier and use the long hook to secure.
Mounng Tip: Two Tall Bikes
In this case, either bike can be set onto the carrier rst. HOWEVER, use the long hook to secure the rst bike.
Then set the other bike on the carrier and use the small hook to secure.

STEP 3. Mount bike 2 on the back and secure using the second securing hook.
Use the buckle tape (19) to secure the wheels on the holders. (Figure 12)

Remove The Bicycle Instrucon:
Remove the buckle tape on the wheels. Then press the release buon on the securing hooks
to slide the securing hook upward, and then remove the bicycle. (Figure 13)

Folding the Bike Carrier Instrucons:
STEP 1. Pull the pins
Pull the pins from the le and right wheel support tubes (2). Li the wheel support tubes
up so they are parallel with the vercal support tube (6). (Figure 14)
Insert the pins into the top outside corners of the support plate (1) (Figure 15)

Repair/Replacement Warranty
Erickson Manufacturing Ltd. warrants to the original purchaser that the mechanical components will be free of defect in material and
workmanship for 90 days from the original date of purchase. Transportaon charges on product submied for repair or replacement
under warranty are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is not
transferable.
Do Not Return The Unit to the Place of Purchase
Contact Erickson Manufacturing Ltd’s Technical Service and service people will troubleshoot any issue via phone or email. Repairs
or replacements without prior authorizaon, or at an unauthorized repair facility, will not be covered by this warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following repairs and equipment:
Normal Wear
This warranty does not cover the repair when use has exhausted the life of a part or the equipment as a whole.
Installaon, Use and Maintenance
This warranty will not apply to parts and/or labor if this product is deemed to have been misused, neglected, involved in an
accident, abused, loaded beyond specicaons, modied, or installed improperly. Normal maintenance is not covered by this
warranty.
Other Exclusions
This warranty excludes:
• Cosmec defect such as paint, decal etc.
• Wear items
• Accessory parts
• Failures due to acts of God and other force majeure events beyond the manufacturer’s control.
• Problems cause by parts that are not Erickson Manufacturing Ltd. parts.
Limits of implied Warranty and Consequenal Damage
Erickson Manufacturing Ltd. disclaims any obligaon to cover any loss me, use of this product, freight, or any
incidental or consequenal claim by anyone from using this product. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. A unit provided
as exchange will be subject to the warranty of the original unit. The length of the warranty governing the exchanged unit will remain
calculated by reference to the purchase date of the original unit. This
warranty gives you certain legal rights which may change from state to state. Your state and/or province may also have other right
you may be entled to that are not listed within this warranty.

1. Never overload carrier. Maximum capacity for your bike Carrier is 80 lb.
2. Use cauon while folding and operang carrier. Creates mulple pinch points. Keep area clear.
3. Ensure bicycles are not in the path of the vehicles exhaust. Can cause damage to bicycle.
