Attach the RIGHT BRACKET [A]
using 11 SCREWS [F] as shown.
Brackets should be located
immediately under the acrylic
edge of the spa, and within
4” – 6” (10-15cm) from the rear
of the spa. For spas with large
radius corners, you can skip
the first 2 holes and insert only
9 Screws. Repeat on other
side with LEFT BRACKET [B].

Put the spa COVER properly in position on the spa in the closed position.
The COVER LIFT will be mounted in the same direction as the cover hinge
(see completed overhead below left). Now, push the cover towards the
front of the spa for easy access to the
side mounting bracket locations.
Note: To avoid splitting a wood spa cabinet,
it is recommended you pre-drill the holes.
The first two holes can be skipped if proper
location of the bracket extends into the
curve of the corner.

Insert the RETAINING CLIP on the RIGHT CORNER SUPPORT AR
under the hinge in spa cover (1). Slide CENTER COUPLER over the
RIGHT CORNER SUPPORT AR (2). Slide the LEFT CORNER SUPPORT
AR into the other end of the CENTER COUPLER (3) while sliding the
RETAINING CLIP of the LEFT CORNER SUPPORT under the cover hinge (4).

SPECIAL REFERENCE:
Line the completed Center Coupler Assembly next to the center
seam of the cover. Pull the SPA COVER and completed assembly
slowly back towards the LEFT AND RIGHT BRACKETS. Insert CORNER
COUPLERS into BRACKET AR S.

Important Safety Feature:
The Spa Escort Hydraulic Assist
Lift is equipped with a Safety
Lock that prevents the lid from
shutting when in the open
position. To close the cover,
simply lift the Safety Lock.
Bonus! Towel Hook
The Spa Escort Hydraulic Assist
Lift includes a FREE Towel
Hook. With the cover in the
OPEN position, simply poistion
the Towel Hook on the upright
support and attach using
2 Screws G].
Confirm the spa cover is properly on the spa and all four corners
are aligned. With the completed Cover Lift frame in place on
spa cover, secure all pieces with 12 SCREWS [G] as indicated
below. Snap BEAUTY CAPS [H] on all SCREWS [F] and [G]. Prior
to attaching the hydraulic, manually flip the spa cover back and
into the upright and open position. Snap the hydraulic over the
BALL JOINT (see photo right) and the lift is ready for use!
The top center
bar should be
JUST BEHIND
the hinge in
spa cover.
Make sure the pilot
holes on CENTER
COUPLER are facing
the rear of the spa
so the screw heads
don’t make contact
with the vinyl cover
when open.
Coupler should be centered equally
between Corner Support Arms before
attaching.

Cost of repair, removal or re-installation, or any consequential damages are not
covered under this warranty.

Warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is based on normal usage
conditions. his warranty does not extend to any damages from abuse, misuse,
improper installation, abnormal usage, fading with minor deteriorations caused
by exposure to the environmental factors or use of chemical substances.
Do not leave the lift open when not in use or during times of windy conditions.
ESSEN IALS is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising
from the use or performance of the product.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages. Accordingly, the above limitation may not apply to you. he warranty
extended hereunder is in lieu of any and all other warranties and any implied
warranties. his warranty gives you specific legal rights.
