CONTROLS
•Main switch (2): for powering the machine on and off. When the lamp is on, the machine is ready to operate.
•Steam nozzle (3): for regulating steam flow. Close the nozzle by turning it counterclockwise. Caution:
Do not tighten nozzle beyond the point of shutting off steam.
•"Ready" pilot lamp (I): indicates when the right temperature for generating steam has been reached. The unit
now generates steam independently of the "ready" pilot lamp.
5-STARTING
5.1 Preliminary operations
•Remove the water tank (8), fill it with fresh drinking water and re-insert it in the suitable compartment making
sure that the suction hose is entirely immersed in water.
•Connect the machine to an adequate power supply (consult the data plate on the machine rear side).
•Ensure that the electric installation, where the machine has to be installed, is made according to the current
safety regulations.
•Move the steam nozzle (4) onto the drip tray, (5) and open the knob (3) completely (1/2 turns) to bleed air from
the boiler.
•Switch the power switch on. (2). The pump runs and stops automatically when the right water level in the boiler
has been reached. Close the steam nozzle.

OPERATION
6.1 Use of steam
•Wait until the "Ready" pilot lamp(1) near the steam nozzle is on, the machine has now reached the right
temperature.
•Move the steam nozzle 4) onto the grill, and turn the knob(3) to open. Let first a few drops of warm water flow
out. The machine is now ready to provide a steady steam supply. The water level in the boiler is kept steady
automatically.
•Immerse the steam nozzle (4) into the liquid to be heated and frothed until the desired temperature is reached.
•To froth milk for cappuccino, it is recommended not to completely immerse the end of the nozzle, but just to
touch the surface of the milk immersing it time to time and moving the cup in a circling motion.
7-MAINTENANCE
7.1 Periodical cleaning
•Proper maintenance of the Steamer assures proper operation and a good and long life of the machine.
•Every day or at least once a week:
•Carefully clean the water tank (8) drip tray (5), grill (6) and steam nozzle (1) using a non-abrasive soap. Do not
place in the dish washer.
•When necessary:
•Check that the hole of the steam nozzle is not clogged with milk deposits.. Clean it periodically with a thin
needle.
