Factory Reset eSelect M
1. From main screen press the OK button and using
the right arrow button scroll until Select Menu
SETTINGS is shown
2. Press the OK button followed by the right arrow
and scroll until Factory Settings is shown (see image).
3. Press OK button to highlight the word NO followed
by the right arrow button until NO changes to the
word RESTORE and press the OK button to confirm
4. The word CONFIRM should now be shown with NO
below it. Press the right arrow to change NO to YES
and confirm by pressing the OK button.
4. When the instrument restarts you will have to
confirm all the default settings such as time, date,
language as well as pH, Rx, CL for however many
channels you have.
Setpoint Menu - eSelect M
From main screen select OK to display the screen shown
to the right. Use the arrow button to select the channel
you wish to set the setpoint for.
Press OK button to change the default setting and after
changing press using left / right arrows press OK to
confirm.
Using the left / right arrows for the setup of Working
Mode, acid or alkaline, Mode, on/off or timed pulses, Alarm min /
max settings and Priming on/off.
Above applies to basic mode only.

From main screen select OK to display the screen shown
to the right. Use the arrow button to select the channel
you wish to set the setpoint for.
Press OK button to change the default setting and after
changing press using left / right arrows press OK to
confirm.
Using the left / right arrows for the setup of Working
Mode, acid or alkaline, Mode, on/off or timed pulses, Hysteresis
value, Setpoint delay, Measuring parameter, Alarm min / max
settings, Overdose timing, Max dosing timing, Startup delay, and
Priming on/off.
Above applies to expert mode only.
Calibration Menu (pH) - eSelect M
From main screen select OK and using the right arrow
Keep scrolling until screen on the right is shown.
Pressing the right arrow button again will move to the
Next channel or channels if you have eSelect M3.
Press the OK button to begin ZERO calibration. Place
clean electrode in buffer solution 7 and wait 2-3
minutes.
Press OK to highlight the pH reading then using the left
and right arrow buttons adjust the display to match pH
7 followed by OK to confirm.
Press the right arrow to go to Slope Calibration and
repeat as above using buffer solution 4 or 9. Press ESC
when done.
Calibration Menu (Rx) - eSelect M
From main screen select OK and using the right arrow
Keep scrolling until screen on the right is shown.
Press the OK button to begin ZERO calibration. Zero
calibration can be carried by either using a blanking
plug or by short circuiting the BNC connector.
Press OK to highlight the mV reading then using the
left and right arrow buttons adjust the display to match
0 mV and confirm by pressing the OK button.
Press the right arrow to go to Slope Calibration and
place a clean electrode into 450mV buffer. Leave for a
while and adjust the reading to match the buffer being
used followed by OK to confirm. Press ESC when done.
Calibration Menu (CL) - eSelect M
From main screen select OK and using the right arrow
Keep scrolling until screen on the right is shown.
Press the OK button to begin calibration.

4-20mA Menu - eSelect M
From main screen select OK and using the right arrow
Keep scrolling until screen on the right is shown.
Press the OK button x 2 to select either Dosing
Setpoint or mA device. Dosing setpoint is the
recommended option. Confirm with OK and then press
the right arrow to move to next screen.
Setpoint Value should now be shown so adjust to
match the current setpoint for the channel and confirm
with OK
Press the right arrow to move to next screen and
adjust Working Mode to either Acid or Alkaline. Confirm
with OK button and use right arrow to move to next
screen.
4-20mA Menu - eSelect M
Window Width sets the distance from the setpoint
where the 4-20mA mode starts and stops.
Press right arrow to move to Overdosing to set the
required time, eg the permitted time to meet the
required setpoint. If the set time is reached the
instrument outputs will be shut and the relay output
can then be set to trigger an alarm if required.
Next screen is Max Dosing eg a safety feature that
ensures the metering is completed within the set time.
Above applies to expert mode only. Screen will differ
slightly from one channel to the next eg pH, RX or CL.
