manual.
Risk of electric shock:
Always unplug this mattress before cleaning.
Risk of suffocation:
Never allow an infant 15 months or younger to sleep on an inflatable mattress. Infants can
suffocate on an under-inflated or deflated mattress, on bedding, or by being trapped between
the mattress and another surface.
!
WARNING
!
DANGER
• Children over 15 months old may sleep on this inflatable mattress only if there is at least a shoulder-
width space between the mattress and any vertical surface (such as walls or furniture) to avoid
entrapment.
• Always keep the mattress fully inflated when using.

6
Risk of burns, fire, electric shock, and other injury:
Keep mattress and cord away from heat sources or heated surfaces. Do not smoke on the
mattress.
Do not stand, walk, or jump on this mattress.
This mattress is not a life-saving device. It is not a flotation device and is not intended for use in
water.
!
WARNING
• Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.
• Close supervision is necessary when this mattress is used by or near children, invalids, or disabled
persons.
• Only use this mattress as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
Etekcity.
• Do not use this mattress if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or if electrical parts have been dropped into water. Contact Customer Support
(see page 17).
• Keep away from flammable materials (such as curtains) while inflating.
• Keep air valves free of lint, hair, and other small objects.
• Do not insert any foreign object into any opening.
• Designed for indoor use. When camping, use in sheltered conditions such as inside a tent or vehicle.
Do not expose to harsh outdoor conditions. Do not use in wet or damp areas.

7
Risk of burns, fire, electric shock, and other injury: (cont.)
• Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
• To disconnect, turn off all controls, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not use this mattress to support video equipment such as televisions or computer monitors.
• Unplug and correctly store cord in compartment when not in use.
• CAUTION: This mattress uses an electrical air pump with thermal protection. The pump contains
parts that cannot be repaired or serviced. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not open the air pump
casing. If the air pump is not working correctly, contact Customer Support (see page 17).
• Do not use the pump in enclosed spaces that are not well-ventilated. Make sure there is clearance of
at least 2 inches from any wall or object while using the pump.
• Do not use high pressure or compressed air inflation systems with this mattress, and do not use
devices that blow hot air (such as hair dryers) to inflate this mattress.
• Do not use the pump around explosive or flammable vapor.
• Do not place any part of the pump or cord in water or other liquids.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, this mattress has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the
other) which fits into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, do not use the plug in that outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way.
• Do not exceed the weight limit for the mattress (see page 3).

Initial Setup
1. Remove the mattress from its packaging. Unfold
the mattress and place it with the felt side facing
up.
2. Inflate the mattress (see page 9).
3. Let the mattress rest for 8–12 hours before
sleeping on it for the first time. Optionally, allow
the fully-inflated air mattress to air out for
several days in a well-ventilated room.
4. Allow the mattress to air out for 2–3 days in a
well-ventilated room.
Note: PVC material may have a strong smell
when new. This smell is normal and non-toxic. The
mattress materials have passed US CA Prop 65 tests
on lead, cadmium, and phthalates.
Operation
Inflating
1. Open the power cord storage compartment and
connect the plug to a 110V–120V AC outlet.
2. Make sure the manual air valve is fully closed.
[Figure 1.1]
3. Turn the control dial clockwise to “Inflate”.
[Figure 1.2]
Note: The manual air valve has 2 parts. Make sure
both parts are closed, or the built-in air pump will
not work. If there is a hissing sound or air coming
from the valve, it is not fully closed.
Note: Inflation will take about 2 minutes for the
twin-sized mattress, and about 3 minutes for the
queen-sized mattress. Time may vary based on the
environmental temperature.
Figure 1.2Figure 1.1

10
5. Lie on the mattress to test the firmness.
6. Optionally, adjust the firmness by either
continuing to inflate the mattress or turning
the control dial to “Deflate” to let some air out.
[Figure 3.1]
7. Make sure there is no hissing sound or air
coming from the built-in air pump. If this occurs,
make sure the control dial arrow is in the “Off”
position.
8. Unplug from outlet, and store the cord in the
storage compartment.
4. When the mattress has reached the desired
firmness, turn the control dial to “Off”.
Note:
• Make sure the control dial arrow is aligned
with the “Off” dot. You will hear a click when
the dial is positioned correctly.
• After 5 minutes of continuous use, the
air pump will start to overheat and will
automatically turn off. Allow the air pump to
cool down for 30 minutes before resuming
use.
Manual Inflating
1. Make sure the built-in air pump is turned
off. The control dial arrow for the built-in air
pump should be aligned with the “Off” dot.
[Figure 2.1] You will hear a click when the dial is
positioned correctly.
2. Pull the tab to open the outer manual air valve.
[Figure 2.2] Connect an air pump or hose to the
valve
3. Inflate to the desired firmness and disconnect
the air pump.
4. Lie on the mattress to test the firmness.
Optionally, adjust the firmness.
5. Make sure the manual air valve is completely
closed. If there is a hissing sound or air coming
from the valve, it is not fully closed.
Figure 2.1 Figure 2.2

11
Deflating
1. Plug in the cord and turn the control dial
counterclockwise to “Deflate”. [Figure 3.1]
2. Allow the mattress to completely deflate.
3. Unplug cord from outlet and place the cord
back into the storage compartment.
4. Store the mattress (see page 11).
Note: You can also deflate the mattress by fully
opening the inner manual air valve. [Figure 3.2]
Figure 3.1
Storing
1. Fully deflate the mattress.
2. Make sure the mattress is clean and dry and
that the control dial is in the “Deflate” position.
[Figure 3.1]
3. Lay mattress with the felt side facing up. Fold
the mattress. [Figures 4.1 – 4.4]
4. Place the mattress inside the storage bag and
store in a cool, dry place. [Figure 4.5]
Note: Fold the mattress loosely. Avoid sharp bends,
corners, and creases, as these can damage the
mattress.

Keeping the Mattress Firm
• This mattress is made of flexible PVC vinyl
material, which will naturally stretch during use.
All air mattresses will lose some firmness or
slightly deflate over time. Use the built-in pump
to add air to the mattress for 10–20 seconds to
restore firmness.
• During the first few uses, the mattress will
stretch more than usual and require a small
amount of inflation after each night.
° If the temperature goes down (such as on
a cold night), the air in the mattress will
compress, and the air bed will become
softer.
° If the environmental temperature goes
up (such as on a hot day), the air in the
mattress will expand and become firmer.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
• Unplug before cleaning. Only clean the
mattress with a soft dry cloth or mild soap
and water. Do not expose the built-in air pump
to water. Lay the mattress flat to dry after
cleaning.
• Air temperature will affect the internal pressure
of an air mattress. Inflate or deflate the mattress
as needed.
Preventing Leaks
Keep mattress away from sharp objects and
rough surfaces.
Keep away from pets, as their claws will
damage the mattress.
• Do not place any air mattress against a wall or
similar surface. The friction from rubbing against
a wall may damage an air mattress’ flexible
surface. Nails in the wall may also damage the
mattress.
• Do not over-inflate. This will shorten the lifespan
of the air mattress.
Note:
Never
immerse the mattress in water. This will
damage the material and the built-in pump, causing
a safety hazard.

14
• Do not expose extreme temperatures (hot or
cold).
• Avoid putting too much pressure on small parts
of any air mattress. This includes sitting or
sleeping on the edge of the mattress for several
hours, and standing or walking on the mattress.
• Fold the air mattress correctly (see page 12).
Repairing Leaks
Use the included vinyl plastic repair kits to repair
leaks.
Note:
• If your mattress has lost only a small amount
of air, there may not be a leak (see
Keeping
the Mattress Firm
, page 13).
• The repair kits will not work on the felt parts
of the mattress.
1. To locate the leak, fully inflate the mattress.
Spray or wipe mild soapy water on the
mattress. Air bubbles will form at the leak area.
2. Deflate the mattress.
3. Thoroughly clean the damaged area. Allow to
dry for at least 10 minutes. The area must be
completely dry before patching, or the patch
will not work.
4. Cut the vinyl patch to the required size for the
damaged area.
5. Remove patch from the paper backing. Press
firmly over the damaged area. Optionally, use a
smooth, heavy object to weigh down the patch.
6. Wait 20 minutes before inflating.

Troubleshooting
My mattress has a chemical smell.
• Place the mattress in a well-ventilated area and
let it air out for several days.
Note: The chemical smell, and all mattress materials,
are non-toxic. This is normal. The mattress materials
have passed US CA Prop 65 tests on lead, cadmium,
and phthalates.
My mattress deflated fully after sleeping on it
once.
• Make sure the control dial of the built-in air
pump is in the “Off” position and the manual
air valve is completely closed before using. If
there is a hissing sound or air coming from the
valves, they are not fully closed.
• Look for any punctures in the mattress. Use
the included patch kit to seal the punctures
(see page 14).
• Your mattress may be damaged or defective.
Contact Customer Support (see page 18).
My mattress deflated by a small amount (10–
15%).
• If your air mattress is new, then fully inflate
and deflate the mattress once. This should
fully stretch out the PVC vinyl material and the
mattress should remain firm throughout the
night.
• This is normal with extended use (see Keeping
the Mattress Firm, page 13).
If your problem is not listed, please contact
Customer Support (see page 18).

Servicing of Double-Insulated Products
In a double-insulated product, 2 systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. On a double-
insulated product, grounding means is not provided and should not be added. Servicing a double-insulated
product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and is to be done only by qualified service
personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace. A
double-insulated product is marked with the words “DOUBLE INSULATION” or “DOUBLE INSULATED”. The
symbol (square within a square) may also be marked on the product.
