While positioning the Solar Panel, keep the following factors in mind. These factors
may affect the solar panel efficiency:
1. Weather conditions will impact the levels of energy produced.
2. Dirt or debris on the panels can negatively impact the intake of sunlight.
3. The amount of sunlight that the solar panel receives.
To optimize your solar panel efficiency, identify an optimal position on your roof or
wall for installation.
1. Select a location where the solar panel can get the most sunlight throughout the
year.
2. Position your solar panel south-facing (in the Northern Hemisphere) or north-
facing (in the Southern Hemisphere), and tilt the panel at a 30° angel.
3. Regularly wipe/clean your solar panel to keep it free of debris and dirt.
4. Keep your solar panel and eufyCam within 13 ft / 4m of each other.

The Solar Panel works with our eufyCam series security cameras. When placed in
direct sunlight, the Solar Panel provides energy to your connected eufyCams. To get
the maximum amount of sunlight exposure, install the Solar Panel on the roof or
wall outside of your house.

CONNECTING THE

EUFYCAM

Use the provided waterproof gasket as support when connecting the solar panel to
your camera. The gasket protects your camera from exposed moisture and other
elements that may damage the camera.
1. Select the correct water gasket and connect the solar panel to your camera.
For eufyCam 1 / 2 / 2 Pro:
Make sure your camera is using the screw mounting bracket rather than a
magnetic one.
(1). Slide the waterproof gasket onto the USB connector of the Solar Panel cable.
(2). Plug the USB connector into the USB port of your camera.
(3). Cover the waterproof bracket and then screw the thread bolt into the mounting
screw slot.

1. Place the mounting bracket against a wall or roof and secure it with the included
screws.
2. For walls or roofs that are made out of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or
stucco, insert anchors first.
3. Anchors are not needed for wooden walls or roofs.
4. Screw the Solar Panel to the mounting bracket and make sure it is well secured.
5. Angle the Solar Panel on the mounting bracket to receive the largest amount of
sunlight. A 30° tilt is recommended.
Before installing the Solar Panel, take down your eufyCam from the wall.

For eufyCam Solo:
(1). Open eufyCam Solo’s back panel. Align the waterproof gasket with the USB
port and press it in.
(2). Plug the USB connector into the USB port of your camera.

(1). Slide the respective waterproof gasket onto the USB connector of the Solar
Panel cable.
(2). Plug the USB connector into the USB port of your camera.

For 4G Camera:
(1). Connect the provided mirco-USB to Type C cable to the USB connector of the
Solar Panel cable.
(2). Open 4G Camera's back panel. Align the waterproof gasket with the USB port
and press it in. Plug the USB connector into the USB port of your camera.

For SoloCam Spotlight / Solar:
(1). Connect the provided mirco-USB to Type C cable to the USB connector of the
Solar Panel cable.
(2). Slide the waterproof gasket onto the connector of the mirco-USB to Type C
cable, then plug the connector into the USB port of the camera.

1. Download and install the eufy Security app, then sign up for an account.
2. Open the eufy Security app, go to Camera Settings > Device Info > Check for
camera firmware to update your eufyCam firmware.
3. Go to Camera Settings > Power Manager > Power Source. Tap Power Source
and select Solar Panel.
You’re done! Your Solar Panel is set up.
2. Screw the mounting bracket for eufyCam into the mounting slot of your camera
and angle the mount to get the desired field of view.
3. Route the extension cable along the solar panel hub to avoid tangling cables.
• Fully plug the USB connector into the camera.
• Follow the user manual to ensure you install Solar Panel correctly.
• Make sure the waterproof gasket and other accessories can protect the
connectors on your camera.

Verwenden Sie die mitgelieferte wasserdichte Dichtung als Unterstützung, wenn Sie
das Solarmodul an die Kamera anschließen. Die Dichtung schützt die Kamera vor
Feuchtigkeit und anderen Elementen, die die Kamera beschädigen können.
1. Wählen Sie die richtige Wasserdichtung und schließen Sie das Solarpanel an die
Kamera an.
Für eufyCam 1/2/2 Pro:
Stellen Sie sicher, dass für die Kamera die Schraubhalterung und nicht die
magnetische Halterung verwendet wird.
(1). Schieben Sie die wasserdichte Dichtung auf den USB-Anschluss des
Solarpanel-Kabels.
(2). Stecken Sie den USB-Stecker in den USB-Anschluss der Kamera.
(3). Decken Sie die wasserdichte Halterung ab und schrauben Sie dann die
Gewindeschraube in den Befestigungsschraubenschlitz.

1. Positionieren Sie die Montagehalterung an einer Wand oder einem Dach und
befestigen Sie sie mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben.
2. Setzen Sie bei Wänden oder Dächern aus harten Materialien wie Beton,
Backstein oder Stuck zuerst Dübel ein.
3. Für Holzwände oder -dächer werden keine Dübel benötigt.
4. Schrauben Sie das Solarpanel an die Montagehalterung und vergewissern Sie
sich, dass es gut befestigt ist.
5. Neigen Sie das Solarpanel auf der Montagehalterung in einen Winkel, in dem es
die höchste Menge an Sonnenlicht aufnehmen kann. Eine Neigung von 30° wird
empfohlen.
Nehmen Sie vor der Montage des Solarpanels Ihre eufyCam von der Wand.

Für eufyCam Solo:
(1). Öffnen Sie die Rückseite der eufyCam Solo. Richten Sie die wasserdichte
Dichtung am USB-Anschluss aus und drücken Sie sie hinein.
(2). Stecken Sie den USB-Stecker in den USB-Anschluss der Kamera.

1. Laden Sie die eufy Security-App herunter, installieren Sie sie, und richten Sie
anschließend ein Konto ein.
2. Öffnen Sie die eufy Security-App. Gehen Sie zu „Kameraeinstellungen >
Geräteinformationen > Nach Kamera-Firmware suchen“, um die eufyCam-
Firmware zu aktualisieren.
3. Gehen Sie zu „Kameraeinstellungen > Power Manager > Stromquelle”. Tippen
Sie auf „Stromquelle“ und wählen Sie „Solarpanel“.
Sie sind fertig! Das Solarpanel ist eingerichtet.
2. Schrauben Sie die Montagehalterung für eufyCam in den Montageschlitz der
Kamera und winkeln Sie die Halterung an, um das gewünschte Sichtfeld zu
erhalten.
3. Verlegen Sie das Verlängerungskabel entlang des Solarmodul-Hubs, um ein
Kabelgewirr zu vermeiden.

El panel solar es compatible con las cámaras de seguridad de la serie eufyCam. Si se
coloca bajo la luz solar directa, el panel solar da energía a las eufyCams conectadas.
Para obtener la máxima exposición a la luz solar, instale el panel solar en el tejado o
una pared exterior de su hogar.

1. Coloque el soporte de montaje en una pared o techo y fíjelo con los tornillos
incluidos.
2. En el caso de paredes o techos que estén hechos de materiales duros, como
hormigón, ladrillo o yeso, coloque primero los anclajes.
3. Los anclajes no son necesarios para paredes o techos de madera.
4. Atornille el panel solar al soporte de montaje y asegúrese de que esté bien
sujeto.
5. Incline el panel solar en el soporte de montaje hasta el ángulo idóneo para recibir
la mayor cantidad de luz solar. Se recomienda que tenga una inclinación de 30°.
Antes de instalar el panel solar, retire la cámara eufyCam de la pared.

(1). Pase la junta resistente al agua respectiva por el conector USB del cable del
panel solar.
(2). Enchufe el conector USB al puerto USB de la cámara.

Utilice la junta resistente al agua incluida a modo de sujeción cuando conecte el
panel solar a la cámara. La junta protege la cámara de la exposición a la humedad y
otros elementos que puedan dañar la cámara.
1. Elija la junta resistente al agua adecuada y conecte el panel solar a la cámara.
Para eufyCam 1 / 2 / 2 Pro:
Use el soporte de montaje con tornillos de la cámara en lugar de uno
magnético.
(1). Pase la junta resistente al agua por el conector USB del cable del panel solar.

Para cámaras eufyCam Solo:
