Robot Finger Assembly Tutorial (QDS-15RO) Open Grinding Edition

The assembly tutorial is as follows:
A: 5 refers to assembly
1. Take out the finger parts. If there is a film, tear off the surface film, the number of parts is 1.4.4.5.5
2. First assemble the large finger parts, use the M2x3 screws, the M2x6 copper posts, and the big finger
to use the first wide part.

3. Assemble the other 4 finger parts and still use M2X3 screws, M2X6 copper posts.

The assembly of the remaining fingers is completed in sequence, except for the big fingers, the other
three fingers are the same.

B: Palm installation
1. Assemble the U-frame with the cable tie plate, use the M2X8 ordinary screw, the M2 spring washer
and the M2 nut.
Note: Do not screw the screws, leaving a gap in the middle to freely fit the finger strap.

2. Use the knob board or other similar board to return the steering gear (ie PWM-1500).
3. Assemble the palm and steering gear, use the self-tapping countersunk screws of the M2X6, 2 on the
front and back.

C:5 refers to + palm installation
1. Install 5 fingers, use M1.4X3 screws here. Note that the M1.4 screws are forcibly screwed into the
palm of the hand as the self-tapping screws. The screws are more difficult to screw in and must be
screwed to the position. As shown below

2. Assemble the front and rear steering wheel.

Rear steering wheel uses M3X5 self-tapping countersunk head screws

Front steering wheel, upper steering wheel, then screw the steering wheel with M3X6 screw, here to
ensure that the steering gear is installed in the P1500 back state (described above) and ensure that one
of the holes in the steering wheel is positive with the steering gear. 90°

3. Install the finger U-frame, here use 2 M2X5 black self-tapping countersunk screws.
Assembly is complete, here only the rear steering wheel screws are installed, no need to install the front
steering wheel screws

4. Install the finger strap, the cable tie is facing down, use the M2X6 self-tapping countersunk head
screw.
Screw the cable tie directly into the head of the cable tie and insert the cable tie into the U-frame
pressure plate.

5. Cover the back of the hand, use the M1.4X3 screw, and still use the M1.4 screw as a self-tapping screw
forcibly screwed into the palm of your hand.
When installing, you can first one on the left, one on the right, and then screw in the remaining two
screws. Do not screw in the two sides directly. 2

6. Adjust the length of the cable tie to ensure that the U-frame is at the foremost position, and the index
finger to the little finger are in maximum bending but not straightened. Gently tighten the screws.
Note that the big finger strap has more margin than the other fingers. Don't rush to remove the excess
strap before adjusting it. You can push the U-frame back and try to ensure that the big finger is above the
index finger while in the state of the fist, and then completely screw the screw after adjustment.
7. After adjustment, subtract the excess cable tie and remove the M2X6 self-tapping countersunk head
screw.

8. Then pull the U back, this time the big finger is above the index finger.
And screw the front steering wheel. 3 screws use the M2X6 self-tapping countersunk head. At this time,
the U-shaped bracket must be pulled back.
Install the screws in a state where the U frame is parallel to the steering gear.
Complete the assembly.
