Schalldämpfer dienen zur Geräuschminderung an pneumati-
schen Anlagen bzw. Druckluftverbrauchern, Zylindern, Venti-
len usw.. Nach verrichteter Arbeit in geschlossenen Systemen
erfolgt das Abblasen großer Luftströme in die Atmosphäre.
Die rasche Entlüftung und die Ent spannung auf Normaldruck
bei gleichzeitiger Schalldämpfung wird durch die optimale An -
ord nung der Filzscheiben und Lochscheiben erreicht (Dros-
sel- und Absorptionsprinzip).
odell 391.1xx: Eigenschaften: hohe Abblasemenge, kurze
Entlüftungszeit und große Schalldämpfung. Dieser ochlei-
stungs-Mehrkammerschalldämpfer ist vorgesehen zur Ge-
räuschdämpfung kontinuierlicher Volumenströme.
odell 391.2xx: Eigenschaften: hohe Abblasemenge, kurze
Entlüftungszeit. Dieser Sicherheitsschalldämpfer ist vorgese-
hen zur effektiven Geräuschdämpfung bei kurzzeitig auftre-
tenden Durchflussspitzen, wie sie beim Entlasten unter Druck
stehender Volumina auftreten. Er weist flexibel gelagerte Prall-
bleche und Filterscheiben auf. Einlassdämpfung ist entkop-
pelt.
Dieses Gerät darf nur für den o. g. Zweck verwendet
werden, für den es speziell entwickelt wurde. Jeglicher
bestimmungswidriger Gebrauch wird als unsachgemäß
betrachtet. Für unsachgemäßen Gebrauch übernimmt
der Hersteller/Lieferant keine Haftung! Das Risiko liegt
allein beim Benutzer.
SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Der Bediener/Nutzer sollte sich mit der Funktion und der Inbe-
triebnahme des Gerätes vertraut machen.
Das Gerät darf nur von sachkundigen Personen in Betrieb ge-
nommen werden. Kinder dürfen dieses Gerät nicht bedienen.
Jugendliche und Personen mit eingeschränkten mentalen und
physischen Fähigkeiten dürfen das Gerät nur nach sorgfältiger
Einweisung und unter Aufsicht benutzen.
Arbeiten Sie immer mit Umsicht und schützen Sie sich und Ihre
Umwelt durch geeignete Vorsichtsmaßnahmen vor Unfallgefah-
ren.
Kontrollieren Sie sämtliche Anschlüsse auf guten Sitz und Dich-
tigkeit.
Versichern Sie sich, dass keine äußerlichen Schäden (wie z. B.
Risse) am Gerät vorhanden sind.
Beachten Sie den maximalen Betriebsdruck, dieser darf niemals
überschritten werden.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es nicht korrekt arbeitet
oder beschädigt wurde.
Erschütterungen des Schalldämpfers sollten vermieden wer-
den.
Die Verstopfung der Filzscheiben durch Öl oder durch feste
Partikel soll vermieden werden, da diese zum erhöhten Stau-
druck und dadurch zur Überlastung des Flansches führen kann.
Verletzungsgefahr!
Das Gerät darf nicht zweckentfremdet oder umgebaut werden.
Einbau- und Sicherheitshinweise:
Durch den axialen Luftaustritt ist ein Aus blasen in ungefährliche
Richtung möglich.
GEFAHRENHINWEISE
Dieses Produkt kann gefährlich sein, wenn es unsach-
gemäß benutzt wird bzw. die Sicherheitsvorschriften
nicht beachtet werden. Eine falsche Bedienung sowie
Nicht-Beachtung der Sicherheitsvorschriften kann zu
schwerer Körperverletzung sowie Sachschäden führen!

WARTUNG/REPARATUR
Durch die austretende Luft reinigt sich der Schalldämpfer
selbst. Bei Verklebung der Dämmscheiben kann der Dämpfer
durch spülen mit Waschbenzin und anschließendem Ausbla-
sen gereicnigt werden. inweis: Der Dämpfer darf nicht de-
montiert werden, da zur Montage Spezialwerkzeuge
erforderlich sind.
GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Mängel, die nachweislich auf einem Werksfehler beruhen, be-
heben wir selbstverständlich kostenlos. Voraussetzung ist,
dass Sie diesen Mangel unverzüglich nach Feststellung und
innerhalb der von uns gewährten Garantiezeit melden. Schä-
den, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch sowie
infolge von Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung entstan-
den sind, sind von dieser Gewährleistung ausgenommen. Die
Garantiezeit beträgt 12 Monate. Wenn nicht anders definiert,
gelten für Zubehörteile 6 Monate. Garantieleistungen bewirken
keine Verlängerung der Garantiefrist. Wurden neben der Ga-
rantieleistung notwendige Reparaturen, Justagen oder der-
gleichen durchgeführt, sind die Garantieleistungen kostenlos,
die anderen Leistungen werden aber ebenso wie Transport
und Verpackung berechnet. Weitergehende oder andere An-
sprüche, insbesondere bei entstandenen Schäden die nicht
das Gerät betreffen, sind – soweit eine aftung nicht zwin-
gend gesetzlich vorgeschrieben ist – ausgeschlossen.
AUSSCHLUSS DER GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Die Gewährleistung entfällt in folgenden Fällen:
Bei Installation, Inbetriebnahme und Wartung wurde die
vorliegende Anleitung nicht befolgt.
Das Gerät wurde auf unzulässige und unsachgemäße Art
verwendet.
Das Gerät wurde trotz offensichtlicher Mängel verwendet.
Es wurden anstelle von Original-Teilen andere Ersatz- oder
Austauschteile verwendet.
Die zulässigen Betriebsparameter wurden nicht beachtet.
Am Gerät wurden entweder eigenmächtig bauliche Verän-
derungen vorgenommen oder es wurde von einer nicht au-
torisierten Person geöffnet/zerlegt.

APPROPRIATE USE
Sound absorbers serve for noise reduction in pneumatic
equipment or pneumatic components, cylinders, valves etc..
After work is performed in a closed system, large quantities
of air are blown off into the atmosphere. Rapid venting and
release to atmospheric pressure with simultaneous sound si-
lencing is achieved by the optimal arrangement of the felt
disks and perforated plates (throttle and absorption principle).
Type 391.1xx: Features: igh blow-off capacity, short ex-
haust time and strong silencing effect. This multi-chamber
muffler is designed for noise reduction of continuous volume
flows.
Type 391.2xx: Features: igh blow-off capacity, short ex-
haust time. This safety muffler is designed for effective noise
reduction of temporarily occurring flow peaks, such as when
the pressure in vessels releases. It has flexibly mounted baffles
and filters. The inlet damper is decoupled.
This device must only be used for the purpose mentio-
ned above, for which it has been specifically developed.
Any use not in line with the intended purpose is consi-
dered as improper. The manufacturer / supplier does
not accept any responsibility for improper use! The risk
is solely borne by the user.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 The operator/user should become familiar with the functio-
ning, installing and using the device.
 Never allow untrained or unauthorized persons to operate
the tool. Children may never operate this tool. Juveniles
and persons with limited mental and physical abilities are
only allowed to use this tool after instruction and only under
supervision.
 Respect the valid laws and regulations of health and oc-
cupational safety as well as other hazard informations for
your own security and the one of other people. Pay atten-
tion to the manufacturer`s informations concerning opera-
tion and security.
 Check all connections for a good fit, tightness and proper
functioning.
 Make sure there are no visible damages on the tool. Do
not use the tool with a malfunction or when it has been da-
maged.
 Pay attention to the max. operating pressure, it must never
be exeeded.
 Avoid shocks of the sound absorber.
 Avoid blockage of the felt disks by oil or particles, since this
can lead to increased back pressure and thus to overloa-
ding of the flange. Physical hazard!
 The tool must not be alienated or modified.
Installation and safety instruction:
It is possible to exhaust in a harmless direction by the axial air
outlet.
HAZARD WARNINGS
This product and working with compressed air can be
dangerous if the safety guidelines are not respected.
Wrong operating and disregard of safety guidelines can
result in grievous bodily harm and property damages.

ensure a save operation of valve an muffler, it is important that the air is
dry enough to prevent the muffler from icing.

AINTENANCE
The damper is self-cleaning thanks to the outgoing air flow. If
the damping plates are sticking together, the damper can be
flushed with solvent and then air-cleaned. Warning: The dam-
per must not be dismantled, because special tools are requi-
red for assembly.
WARRANTY
Problems that can be proven to be factory defects will be re-
paired free of charge. Provided you report the problem imme-
diately after detecting it and within the warranty period.
Damages caused by improper use or due to non-compliance
with the operating manual are excluded from this warranty.
The warranty period is 12 months. Unless otherwise specified,
the warranty period for accessories is 6 months. Warranty
claims do not cause an extension of the warranty period. If
necessary repairs, adjustments etc. are carried out in addition
to the warranty services, then the warranty services are free
of charge but the other services are charged including trans-
port and packaging. Additional or other claims, especially for
damages that do not concern the device, are excluded if lia-
bility is not prescribed by law.
EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY
Warranty does not apply in the following cases:
The operating manual was not followed during the initial
operation and maintenance.
The device was used in an impermissible and improper
manner.
The device was used in spite of obvious faults.
Other spare or replacement parts were used instead of ori-
ginal parts.
The permissible operating parameters were not followed.
Unauthorised modifications were made to the device or
parts of the device, which should not be opened, were
dismantled (except for maintenance purpose).
Serial numbers were changed, damaged or removed from
the device.

USAGE CONFOR E
Les silencieux servent à réduire les bruits sur les équipements
pneumatiques et les consommateurs pneumatiques, vérins,
soupapes, etc.. Une fois l’opération terminée à l’intérieur du
système clos, d’importants débits de passage sont déchar-
gés dans l’atmosphère. La ventilation rapide, le retour à une
pression normale et l’amortissement simultané du bruilt sont
obtenus grâce à l’agencement optimal des disques de feutre
et des tôles perforées (principe d’étranglement et d’absorp-
tion).
odèle 391.1xx : Caractéristiques : Grande capacité d’éva-
cuation, temps de purge bref et haute insonorisation. Ce si-
lencieux haute performance à plusieurs chambres est prévu
amortir le bruit des débits volumétriques continus.
odèle 391.2xx : Caractéristiques : Grande capacité d’éva-
cuation et temps de purge bref. Ces silencieux de sécurité
amortissent effiacacement le bruit en cas d’augmentations
brèves du débit, comme celles survenant durant la décharge
de volumes sous pression. Ils sont munis de chicanes flexibles
et de disques filtrants. L’amortissement à l’admission est dé-
couplé.
Le présent appareil doit être employé uniquement aux
fins susmentionnées pour lesquelles il a été développé.
Tout usage non conforme sera considéré comme inap-
proprié. Le fabricant/fournisseur ne prend aucune re-
sponsabilité en cas d'usage inapproprié ! Le risque
incombe au seul utilisateur !
RÈGLES DE SÉCURITÉ
L'opérateur/utilisateur doit se familiariser avec la fonction,
l'intégration et la mise en service de l’appareil.
La mise en service peut être uniquement entreprise par des
personnes compétentes. Les enfants ne doivent pas ma-
nipuler les appareils.
Travaillez toujours avec prudence et protégez-vous ainsi
que votre environnement par des mesures de précaution
appropriées contre les risques d'accident.
Contrôlez l'ensemble des raccordements quant à la bonne
assise et à l'étanchéité.
Assurez-vous qu'aucun dommage externe n'est présent
sur les appareils.
Respectez la pression de service maximale. Ajustez le rég-
lage de la pression de travail via le régulateur de pression.
La pression de service autorisée ne doive jamais être dé-
passées.
N'employez pas les appareils s'ils ont incorrectement
fonctionné ou s'ils ont été endommagés.
Avant toute tâche d’entretien ou près du longue désué-
tude, mettre les appareils en mode dépressurisé, dans le
cas contraire un risque d’accident subsiste.
Il est recommandé d’éviter de soumettre le silencieux à des
secousses.
Eviter d’obturer les disques de feutre avec de l’huile ou des
particules solides doit être évitée car cela provoque une
augmentation de la contre-pression et peut entraîner un
effort excessif de la collerette. Attention: risque de bles-
sure !
Les appareils ne doivent pas être détournés de leur utilisa-
tion première ni transformés.
Consignens de montage et de sécurité :
La sortie axiale de l’air permet l’échappement dans une di-
rection inoffensive.
INDICATIONS DE DANGER
Les éventuels dangers lors de l'utilisation du produit/ risques
de l'utilisateur ou pour des tiers :
Le produit et le maniement avec air comprimé peut être
dangereux s'il est utilisé de manière inappropriée. Une
mauvaise manipulation et la inobservation des règles
de sécurité peut mener à lésions corporelles graves et
des gégâts matériels!

Le silencieux peut monté dans une position aux choix, le rac-
cord doit être axial.

* Au-dessous de +2°C, tenir compte de la qualité de l’air! Pour un
fonctionnement sûr de la soupape et du silencieux, il est essentiel que
l’air soit suffisamment sec afin d’éviter la formation de gel sur le silen-
cieux.
ENTRETIEN
En raison de l'air évacué, le silencieux s'auto-nettoie. Lors du
collage des plaques isolantes, le silencieux peut être nettoyé
en le rinçant au white spirit puis en éliminant les traces de li-
quide par soufflage. Attention : L'amortisseur ne doit pas être
démonté car le montage nécessite l'utilisation d'outils spéci-
aux.
GARANTIE
Nous réparons bien sûr gratuitement les défauts qui reposent
sur un défaut d'usine manifeste. La condition préalable est de
signaler ce défaut immédiatement après sa constatation et
dans le délai de garantie couvert. Les dommages qui appa-
raissent à cause d'un usage non conforme ou suite à un non
respect du mode d'emploi, sont exclus de cette garantie.
La période de garantie s'élève à 12 mois. Sauf stipulation
contraire, la garantie s'élève à 6 mois pour les pièces d'ac-
cessoire. Les prestations de garantie n'occasionnent aucune
prolongation du délai de garantie. Si des réparations, réglages
ou similaires s'avèrent indispensables auprès de la garantie,
les prestations de garantie sont gratuites. Les autres presta-
tions ainsi que le transport et l'emballage seront toutefois fac-
turées. Toute autre revendication, notamment en cas
d'apparition de dommages ne concernant pas l'appareil, est
– dans la mesure où une responsabilité ne serait pas exigée
par la législation – exclue.
EXCLUSION DE LA GARANTIE
La garantie est suspendue dans les cas suivants :
Le mode d'emploi n'a pas été respecté lors de la première
mise en service et de la première maintenance.
L'appareil a été utilisé de manière interdite et inappropriée.
L'appareil a été utilisé malgré un défaut apparent.
Des pièces de rechange ou de remplacement ont été uti-
lisées au lieu des pièces originales.
Les paramètres de service autorisés n'ont pas été respec-
tés.
Des modifications non autorisées ont été réalisées sur l'ap-
pareil ou des parties de l'appareil ont été démontées alors
qu'elles ne devaient pas être ouvertes (hormis à des fins
de maintenance)
Les numéros de série ont été modifiés, endommagés ou
supprimés.
