1. Package Content
Thank you for purchasing Our Industrial Power over Ethernet Injector. Terms of
“PoE Extender” in following section of this User’s Manual means the EWS-200-
PE4.
Upon open the box of the Industrial Power over Ethernet Injector and carefully
unpack it. The box should contain the following items: EWS-200-PE4

User’s Manual x 1
●
DIN Rail Kit x 1
If any of these are missing or damaged, please contact your dealer
immediately, if possible, retain the carton including the original packing
material, and use them against to repack the product in case there is a
need to return it to us for repair.

Note
PD (Powered Device) is a PoE-enabled terminal by PSE
and thus consumes energy, such as IP Phones, network
cameras and Wireless access points, etc.
PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) is a device (switch,
or hub for instance) that will provide power in a PoE
setup. Maximum allowed continuous output power per
such device in IEEE 802.3af is 15.4W, 30W in IEEE802.3at
60W in IEEE802.3att.

5. Mounting Installation
This section describes how to install the Equipment and make connections.
Please read the following topics and perform the procedures in the order
being presented.
Note
In the installation steps below, 8 Port Switch picture shown
as the example. However, the steps for EWS-200-PE4 are
the same.
5.1 DIN-Rail Mounting
Install DIN-Rail (not supplied) t h e n c l i p i n f r o m t h e t o p
following picture below:
Step 1: Lightly press on to DIN-Rail insure proper fitment
to DIN track.
