Please review instructions and determine knockout locations before beginning installation.
TESTING
♦When AC power is applied, the word “EXIT“ will illu-
minate. For units with batteries, the green “AC On”
indicator will also illuminate, indicating the charging
circuit is functioning.
♦Pressing the “Test” button will disconnect AC power,
during emergency operation, the green “AC On” LED
will extinguish.

SINGLE FACE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1 Remove faceplate by pulling it away from the enclo-
sure.
2 Carefully remove red or green diffuser from faceplate
and knock-out desired arrow(s) from the inside out,
replace diffuser.
3 Remove four (4) screws from Pan Reflector/
Electronics assembly and remove from enclosure.
4 Mount enclosure to wall or ceiling using knockouts
provided and/or included canopy kit.
5 Make electrical connections in accordance with local
building codes using knockouts provided.
For 120V Use Black & White Wires
For 277V Use Orange or Blue and White Wires
6 Replace Pan Reflector/Electronics assembly in enclo-
sure and secure with four (4) screws.
7 Be sure all wiring is routed behind pan to avoid shad-
owing on Faceplate.
8 Close unit by snapping Faceplate onto Enclosure.
DOUBLE FACE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1 Remove faceplate by pulling it away from the enclo-
sure at the top edge of the sign.
2 Carefully remove red or green diffuser from faceplate
and enclosure and knock-out desired arrow(s) from the
inside out, replace diffusers.
3 Mount Canopy to Enclosure using threaded pipe and
nuts.
4 Route Battery (if equipped) and Transformer leads
from electronics mounted on Canopy Plate into enclo-
sure and plug them into LED strip, be sure to route
wires near edges of enclosure to avoid shadowing the
Faces of the sign.
5 Secure Mounting Plate to junction box on wall or ceil-
ing.
6 Make electrical connections in accordance with local
building codes using knockouts provided.
7 Secure Enclosure/Canopy assembly to Mounting Plate
screws using two (2) acorn nuts provided..
8 Close unit by snapping Faceplate onto Enclosure.
FLASHING SPECIFICATIONS
♦Units suffixed with FB and FL have a flashing legend
during emergency operation.
♦Units suffixed with A1 and A2 will flash when trig-
gered by an external fire alarm relay. The flash rate is
40 cycles/minute with a 50% duty cycle.
