Inhalt und Montage
Bitte lesen Sie die gesamte Bedienungsanleitung durch, bevor Sie mit der Montage
beginnen und entscheiden, wo Sie Ihren Infrarotstrahler aufstellen wollen. Lesen
Sie die Anweisungen sorgfältig durch, um sicherzustellen, dass der Infrarotstrahler
gemäß diesen Anweisungen installiert, verwendet und ordnungsgemäß gepflegt
wird. Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung zwecks künftiger Referenz auf.

Montage
1. Die Rückseite der Halterungen ist biegsam und flexibel, so dass der Strahler be-
quem installiert werden kann. Die folgenden Seiten helfen bei der Entscheidung,
wo der Strahler installiert werden soll.
2. Nachdem Sie den Installationsort und die Universalhalterung gewählt haben,
passen Sie die Gummiplatte durch Zuschneiden an die Universalhalterung an,
und platzieren Sie sie ihre Innenseite. Darauf achten, dass die für die Flügels-
chrauben erforderlichen Löcher nicht abgedeckt werden. Dadurch werden
Schäden und Rost verhindert, und sorgt für eine feste Verbindung des Strahlers
am Rohr/Träger. Siehe Abb. 1.
3. Nun mit den Einstellschrauben den Infrarotstrahler an die Universalhalterung
montieren. Siehe Abb. 1.
4. Jetzt kann der Infrarotstrahler an das/den Rohr/Träger gehängt werden.
5. Den Infrarotstrahler so abwinkeln, dass der Abstand zwischen dem Infra-
rotstrahler und den umgebenden Oberflächen/Gegenstände auf jeder Seite
mindestens 10 cm beträgt. Der Winkel des Infrarotstrahlers lässt sich mit den
Einstellschrauben und durch drehen der gesamten Universalhalterung mit dem
Infrarotstrahler eingestellt werden. Siehe Abb. 2 und 3.

6. Die Rückseite des Universalhalters lässt sich um das/den Rohr/Träger biegen,
und kann dann mit den Flügelschrauben gesichert werden. Bei der Winkelein-
stellung darauf achten, dass die Flügelschrauben fest angezogen werden. Um
Rost zu verhindern, die Nylon-Unterlegscheiben zwischen Flügelschraube und
Universalhalterung einsetzen. Siehe Abb. 1.
7. Das Netzkabel in eine geerdete 230 V-Steckdose einstecken. Wir empfehlen die
Verwendung eines Fehlerstromschutzschalters.
8. Ziehen Sie an der Kordel, um den Infrarotstrahler ein- oder auszuschalten. Siehe
Abb. 4.

9. Soll der Infrarotstrahler an einer Wand montiert werden, müssen zuerst die 2
Stück Metallrohre in die Universalhalterung eingesetzt werden - siehe dazu die
Anweisung in Abb. 5. Soll er dagegen an den Rohren oder Trägern aufgehängt
werden, die 2 Stück Metallrohre nicht verwenden - siehe dazu die Anweisung in
den Abb. 6 und 7.
Anwendung
Dieser Infrarotstrahler ist für den Gebrauch im Freien vorgesehen. Mit der Univer-
salhalterung können Sie den Infrarotstrahler z.B. in einem Pavillon, Vorzelt oder
Party-Zelt verwenden. Sie können den Infrarotstrahler an Rohre oder Träger bis
maximal 4 cm montieren. Wählen Sie dazu die für Ihren Zweck geeignetste Univer-
salhalterung. Der mindestens einzuhaltende Abstand zwischen dem Infrarotstrahler
und anderen Gegenständen beträgt 10 cm. Achten Sie darauf, dass auch das hintere
und obere Teil des Infrarotstrahlers heiß werden.
Vorschläge, wo der Infrarotstrahler platziert werden kann
Achtung! Bei der Suche nach einem geeigneten Ort für den Infrarotstrahler ist
es sehr wichtig darauf zu achten, dass ausreichend Platz für die Wärmestrahlung
vorhanden ist.
Partyzelte und Pavillons:
• Wenn Sie Ihren Infrarotstrahler in einem Partyzelt einsetzen, müssen Sie sich-
erstellen, dass er nicht direkt am Rand des Partyzeltdaches anliegt oder gegen
ihn abstrahlt. Der Infrarotstrahler sollte entweder unter dem Rand des Partyzelt-
daches hängen, oder Sie können den Infrarotstrahler mit der Universalhalterung
in einem Abstand von mindestens 10 cm vom Rand des Partyzeltdaches win-
kelig stellen.

Dabei ist sicherzustellen, dass die Flügelschrauben in der Universalhalterung
festgedreht werden, so dass der Infrarotstrahler stabil ist. Siehe Abb. 6.
Anwendung
• Hat das Partyzelt Wände, muss der Infrarotstrahler mit der Universalhalterung
so winkelig eingestellt werden, dass ein Abstand von mindestens 10 cm von der
Wand des Partyzeltes vorhanden ist. Hier wieder die Flügelschrauben in der Uni-
versalhalterung festziehen, um den Winkel zu sichern.
• Der Infrarotstrahler kann auch an einem der Rohre/Stangen im Partyzeltdach
montiert werden. Dadurch würde der Infrarotstrahler zwar winkelig montiert
werden, das ist aber kein Problem, sofern die Flügelschrauben in der Halter-
ung festgezogen werden, so dass der Infrarotstrahler stabil positioniert ist. Der
Infrarotstrahler muss einen Abstand von mindestens 10 cm zu allen Teilen des
Partyzeltes haben.

Markise
• Der Infrarotstrahler kann in einer Markise montiert werden. Dabei kann er
entweder an einem der Markisenarme oder am Markisenträger gegen die Wand
montiert werden. Siehe Beispiel in Abb. 7.
• Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass der Volant der Markise nicht auf den Infrarotst-
rahler herunterhängt. Achten Sie darauf, dass ein Abstand von mindestens 10 cm
zwischen dem Infrarotstrahler und dem Volant eingehalten wird. Siehe Abb. 8.

• Je nachdem, wo Sie den Infrarotstrahler platzieren, besteht die Gefahr, dass beim
Schließen der Markise, der Volant näher als 10 cm an den Infrarotstrahler kom-
mt. Daher müssen Sie sicherstellen, dass der Infrarotstrahler vor dem Schließen
der Markise ausgeschaltet wurde und abgekühlt ist.
Reinigung und Pflege
Wichtige Informationen bei der Entscheidung, wo Sie Ihren Strahler platzieren
und nutzen:
• Denken Sie daran, dass der Infrarotstrahler sehr heiß wird, auch an seiner Ober-
und Rückseite. Sie müssen daher auf einen Sicherheitsabstand von mindestens
10 cm zu anderen Objekten achten.
• Hängen Sie den Infrarotstrahler an einem sicheren Ort auf. Er muss so hoch
gehängt werden, dass niemand dagegen laufen kann und wo er sich außerhalb
der Reichweite von Kindern befindet.
• Der Infrarotstrahler muss einen Mindestabstand von 10 cm von anderen Gegen-
ständen haben, da die abgestrahlte Wärme Textilien und andere Gegenstände in
der Nähe verfärben oder beschädigen kann.
• Denken Sie daran, Ihren Infrarotstrahler bei Nichtgebrauch immer auszuschalten
(an der Kordel des Hauptschalters ziehen). Bevor Sie den Infrarotstrahler un-
beaufsichtigt verlassen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und stellen Sie sicher, dass
der Infrarotstrahler abgekühlt ist.
Reinigung und Aufbewahrung
• Der Infrarotstrahler muss regelmäßig und vor dem lagern gereinigt werden.
• Ziehen Sie an der Kordel (Hauptschalter) um den Infrarotstrahler auszuschalten,
und ziehen Sie dann den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Lassen Sie das Gerät voll-
ständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es lagern.
• Das Gehäuse mit einem trockenen Tuch abwischen. Kein Wasser, Wachs, Politur
oder anderes Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
• Bewahren Sie den Infrarotstrahler an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort
auf.
Sicherheitshinweise
• Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch bevor Sie den Strahler erst-
malig verwenden, und bewahren Sie sie zwecks zukünftigem Nachschlagen auf.
• Denken Sie daran, dass der Infrarotstrahler heiß werden wird, wenn er einge-
schaltet ist. Keine heißen Oberflächen berühren.

• Seien Sie besonders achtsam, wenn der Infrarotstrahler in der Nähe von Kindern
verwendet wird.
• Der Infrarotstrahler darf in eingeschaltetem Zustand nicht unbeaufsichtigt sein.
• Immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn der Infrarotstrahler nicht
benutzt wird.
• Der Infrarotstrahler darf nicht verwendet werden, wenn der Stecker oder das
Kabel beschädigt sind oder wenn der Infrarotstrahler nicht richtig funktioniert.
• Der Infrarotstrahler darf sowohl im Innen- als auch im Außenbereich verwendet
werden und muss stets beaufsichtigt werden.
• Der Infrarotstrahler muss an eine geerdete Steckdose angeschlossen werden.
• Empfohlen wird ein zusätzlicher Schutz durch die Installation eines Fehler-
stromschutzschalters.
• Der Infrarotstrahler darf nicht direkt neben Badezimmer, Duschen oder Schwim-
mbecken verwendet werden.
• Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände in das Gitter des Infrarotstrahlers – Strom-
schlaggefahr!
• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass ein Mindestabstand von 10 cm zu brennbaren Gegen-
ständen eingehalten wird.
• Vermeiden Sie Brandgefahr – den Infrarotstrahler in eingeschaltetem Zustand
nicht abdecken.
• Durch Abdeckung kann sich der Infrarotstrahler überhitzen.
• Der Infrarotstrahler darf nicht in Bereichen verwendet werden, in denen Benzin,
Farbe oder andere brennbaren Flüssigkeiten gelagert werden.
• Verwenden Sie den Infrarotstrahler nur für seinen vorgesehenen Zweck.
• Vor der Lagerung den Infrarotstrahler abkühlen lassen.
• Der Infrarotstrahler darf nicht an Vorrichtungen angeschlossen werden, die den
Strahler automatisch ein-/ausschalten, zum Beispiel an eine Zeitschaltuhr oder
an ein automatisches Temperaturregelsystem.
• Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel muss von einem Fachmann ausgetauscht werden.
• Der Infrarotstrahler ist nicht für den Gebrauch durch Personen (einschließlich
Kindern) mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähig-
keiten oder einem Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen bestimmt, wenn nicht eine
für ihre Sicherheit verantwortliche Person den Umgang mit dem Infrarotstrahler
beaufsichtigt oder anleitet.
• Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem
Infrarotstrahler spielen.
• Der Infrarotstrahler hat die Schutzklasse IPX4.

Reklamationsrecht
Bei Beanstandungen muss vom Gesetz her das Produkt zusammen mit einer gestem-
pelten Quittung an den ursprünglichen Ort des Kaufs zurückgegeben werden. Der
Nutzer haftet für jegliche Schäden am Produkt, die durch Nichtbeachtung seines
vorgesehenen Zwecks oder Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht
werden. In solchen Fällen findet das Reklamationsrecht keine Anwendung.

Beschädigungen aufgetreten sind, senden Sie das Gerät zurÜck an den Händler.
Zuzätzlich zu den gesetzlich verankerten Rechten kann der Käufer unter folgenden
Bedingungen Garantieansprüche geltend machen:
Wir bieten eine 2-Jahres-Garantie für das erworbene Gerät, beginnend mit dem
Tag des Kaufs. Während dieses Zeitraumes beheben wir kostenfrei sämtliche De-
fekte, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsmängel zurückzuführen sind, durch
Reparatur oder Umtausch.
Defekte, die durch unsachgemässen Umgang mit dem Gerät und durch Fehlfunktio-
nen aufgrund von Eingriffen und Reparaturen durch Dritte oder durch den Einbau
von Nicht-Originalteilen entstehen, sind durch diese Garantie nicht abgedeckt.

Please read through the entire user manual before you start assembling and deciding
where to put your infrared heater. Read the instructions carefully to make sure that
the infrared heater is installed, used and maintained correctly, as described in these
instructions. Keep the user manual for future reference.

Assembly
1. The back of the brackets is pliable and flexible to make it easy to install the
heater. Look at the following pages when deciding where to put your heater.
2. When you have selected the location and the universal bracket you are going to
use, adapt the rubber plate to the universal bracket by cutting it to size and then
putting it on the inside of the universal bracket. Make sure that you do not cover
any of the holes that you need to use for the wing nuts. This prevents damage
and rust, and also ensures that the heater is firmly attached to the tube/beam. See
figure 1.
3. Attach the universal bracket to the infrared heater using the adjustment screws.
See figure 1.
4. You can then hang the infrared heater on the tube/beam that you have chosen.
5. Angle the infrared heater so that the distance between the infrared heater and the
surrounding surfaces/objects is at least 10cm from every direction. You angle
the infrared heater using the adjustment screws by turning the entire universal
bracket with the infrared heater. See figures 2 and 3.

6. You can bend the back of the universal bracket around the tube/beam, attaching
it securely using the wing screws. When you angle the heater, make sure that
the wing screws are tightened securely to fix the angle. Put the nylon washers
between the wing screw and the universal bracket to prevent rust. See figure 1.
7. Connect the power cable to a grounded 230 V power socket. We recommend us-
ing a ground fault circuit interrupter.
8. Pull the cord to switch the infrared heater on and off. See figure 4.

9. If the infrared heater be mounted on the wall, you must put the 2 pcs metal tubes
into universal bracket first, see the instruction in figure 5; if hang on the tubes or
beams up, do not use the 2 pcs metal tubes, see the instruction in figure 6 and 7.
How to Use
This infrared heater is intended for outdoor use. The universal bracket enables you
to put the infrared heater in, for example, a pavilion, awning or party tent. You can
attach the infrared heater to tubes or beams up to a maximum of 4 cm. Choose the
universal bracket depending on where you want to put the heater. You need to put
the infrared heater at least 10 cm away from other objects. Note that the back and
top of the infrared heater will also get hot.
Suggestions on where to put your infrared heater
Warning! When decidingwhere to put your infrared heater, make sure there is plenty
of space for the thermal radiation area.
Party tents and gazebos:
• When you put your infrared heater in a party tent, you have to make sure that
it is not directly against the edge of the party tent’s canopy. The infrared heater
should either hang down under the edge of the party tent’s canopy, or you can
angle the infrared heater at a distance of at least 10 cm from the edge of the
party tent’s canopy using the universal bracket. Make sure that you tighten the
wing screws securely in the universal bracket to ensure that the infrared heater is
stable. See figure 6.

How to Use
• If the party tent has walls, you need to angle the infrared heater so that it is at
least 10 cm away from the wall of the party tent using the universal bracket.
Tighten the wing screws in the universal bracket to secure the angle.
• You can choose to put the infrared heater on one of the tubes in the party tent
roof. This would mean that the infrared heater would be at an angle, but this is
not a problem if you tighten the wing screws on the universal bracket to ensure
that the infrared heater is stable and in place. The infrared heater must be at least
10 cm away from all parts of the party tent.

Awning
• You can choose to put your infrared heater in your awning. You can either attach
it to one of the awning arms or on the awning beam against the wall. See the
example in figure 7.
• Make sure that the awning valance does not hang down onto the infrared heater.
Make sure there is a distance of at least 10 cm between the infrared heater and
the awning valance. Se figure 8.

• Depending on where you put the infrared heater, there is a risk that the awning
valance will get closer than 10 cm to the infrared heater when the awning is
being closed. You therefore have to make sure that the infrared heater has been
switched off and has cooled down before closing the awning.
Cleaning and maintenance
Important information when deciding where to put your heater and when us-
ing it:
• Remember that the infrared heater will get very hot when it is on, including
the top and back of the heater. You should therefore make sure that it is a safe
distance, a minimum 10 cm from other objects.
• Hang the infrared heater in a safe location. Make sure it is high up, somewhere
where no-one can walk into it, and where it is out of the reach of children.
• The infrared heater must be at least 10 cm away from other objects, as the heat
can damage or discolor fabric or other objects nearby.
• Remember to always switch off your infrared heater when it is not in use (pull
the cord of the main switch). Pull out the plug and make sure the infrared heater
has cooled down before leaving it unsupervised.
Cleaning and storage
• You need to clean the infrared heater regularly and before you store it away.
• Switch off the infrared heater by pulling the cord (main switch) and then pull the
plug out of the electric socket. Allow it to cool before cleaning and storing it.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the casing. Do not use water, wax, polish or other clean-
ing agents.
• Store the infrared heater in a dry and well ventilated place.
Safety instructions
• Read the user manual carefully before using the heater for the first time and save
it for future reference.
• Remember that the infrared heater will get hot when it is switched on. Do not
touch any of the hot surfaces.
• Pay particular attention when using the infrared heater close to children.
• Do not leave the infrared heater unsupervised when it is switched on.

• Always pull the plug out of the socket when the infrared heater is not in use.
• Do not use the infrared heater if the plug or the electric cable is damaged or if
the infrared heater is not working correctly.
• The infrared heater may be used in both indoors and outdoors, and must under
supervision.
• The infrared heater must be connected to an earthed electric socket.
• Extra protection is recommended by installing a ground fault circuit interrupter.
• Do not use the infrared heater right next to bathrooms, showers or swimming
pools.
• Do not put any objects in the grating of the infrared heater – there is a risk of
electric shock.
• Make sure the infrared heater is at least 10 cm from flammable objects.
• Avoid the risk of fire – do not cover the infrared heater when it is switched on.
• The infrared heater can overheat when covered.
• Do not use the infrared heater in areas where petrol, paint or other flammable
liquids are stored.
• Only use the infrared heater for its intended purpose.
• Let the infrared heater cool before storing it.
• Do not connect the infrared heater to any equipment that automatically switches
the infrared heater on/off, for example, a timer or automatic temperature control
equipment.
• If the electric cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• The infrared heater is not intended to be used by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they are supervised or are given instructions on how
to use the infrared heater by a person who is responsible for their safety.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the infrared
heater.
• The infrared heater is rated IPX4.

Right of complaint
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with a stamped
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product
that is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following
this user manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
