lifting aid, and uses it for commercial or other purposes.
Operating
personnel Operating personnel is someone who works with the lifting aid and has
been informed and instructed about the possible dangers of an assi-
gned task in case of incorrect operation, and also about the necessary
protective measures, safety devices, standards, accident prevention
regulations, and working conditions.
Expert An Expert is a person who, because of training, experience, knowledge
of appropriate standards, accident prevention regulations, and working
conditions, is able to carry out maintenance and servicing work as
assigned by the owner/operator in addition to normal operation of the
equipment.
The Expert must be able to assess the assigned tasks, recognize
possible dangers, and take preventive measures.
Hazard-specific

Falling or swinging loads can lead to severe or
fatal injuries.
Therefore:
●Do not go under suspended loads.
●Never move suspended loads over persons.
●Never use the lifting aid without supervision.

2.7 Test specifications
Acceptance test EXPRESSO tests the lifting aid before delivery.
This means that the lift2moveand associated load handling attachment
(accessory) are ready for safe operation without any restrictions.
Recurring inspec-
tions As a responsible manufacturer, EXPRESSO recommends at
least one annual inspection by an Expert (as defined in Section
2.6 Terminology).
Primarily, these recurring inspections are visual and functional tests,
during which the condition of the components in terms of wear,
corrosion, and damage, as well as constructional or other modifications
are assessed.
Hereby, the completeness and correct operation of safety devices must
also be checked. See Section 9 Servicing & Maintenance.
Recurring inspections must be carried out in accordance with the
regulations of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. The results of the
inspection must be recorded. See Chapter 12 Blank form for recording
the annual inspection.
Disassembly might be necessary for inspecting wear-prone parts, as
load-bearing components must be examined over their full length:
WARNING! Defective and almost defective components must
be replaced.
All tests and inspections must be initiated and recorded by the
owner/operator.

3.2 Intended use
EXPRESSO‘s lift2move lifting aid has been designed and built
exclusively for the purposes described here.
lift2move lifting aids are designed for indoor use in enclosed spaces
and on level surfaces.
EXPRESSO‘s lift2move lifting aids are intended for lifting/lowering
(and possibly moving) loads. Depending on the load handling
attachment (accessory), additional manipulating devices, e.g. for
tipping and turning, might be fitted.
The max. permissible payload is clearly marked on the lift2move‘s
lifting pillar.
Depending on type, the rated payload of the load handling accessory
can be less than the max. permitted payload of the basic lift2move.
In all cases, the lower payload must not be exceeded.
Intended use also includes the observance of all operating,
maintenance, and repair instructions specified by EXPRESSO.
Individually manufactured load handling attachments may only be
used with the loads tested and approved by EXPRESSO during
development of the attachment, and at the specified attachment
points.
