SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS
DESERT SHADE 270°
CAR AWNING

Before begin the set-up, ensure the area
around the car awning is clear from trees and
any other hazards.
Attach the guide rope through the black loop
the first arm of the frame.
Loop the guide rope around the car roof rack.
Tighten the rope until the car awning fabric
has no creases.
Unzip the car awning protective cover bag.
Using the now attached guide rope, start to
open the awning.
For extra support the 3 built-in telescopic legs
can be lowered from the frame arms. These
can also strapped and pined to the ground.
Undo the two Velcro straps around the car
awning and roll down the fabric.
Walk the awning around the back of the car
until complete expanded to 270º.
There are four extra tie-down straps and pins
to strap the car awning to the ground and
help direct rain water off the awning.

Take off any tie-down ropes and pins from the
awning. The undo the guide rope from the
back of the car roof rack.
Once the fabric is rolled up, secure with the
two Velcro straps.
Using the guide rope, walk the awning around
until all the frame arms are folded into the
protective cover.
Zip the protective cover bag closed.
NEVER TRAVEL WITH AWNING OR AWNING
BAG OPEN.
Unstrap the guide rope and tightly roll up the
car awning fabric into the protective cover.
