Appliqués
7. Working on an ironing surface, place the Truck appliqué on cu as shown. Once the appliqué is placed, follow pressing instructions
below (Dia. G).
1. Set iron to hot, dry setting.
2. Place the appliqué in desired location and cover with a pressing cloth.
3. Press using a dry iron, applying light pressure on the appliqué for approximately 10 seconds to adhere appliqué into place.
4. To set appliqué, turn the Stocking cu back up as shown. Iron back side of appliqué for approximately 30-45 seconds, applying
rm pressure evenly to reinforce. Let cool and repeat step 4 if necessary.
Finishing
8. To make the Hanging Loop (1 ½ in x 6 in / 3.81 cm x 15.24 cm), fold wrong sides together so long edges meet. Press open and fold
edges to the center crease; press. Fold in half again and topstitch close to the edges (Dia. H).
9. Fold the Hanging Loop in half so cut edges meet. On the inside, pin to the center back of
Stocking at the top edge, as shown in Diagram I. Sew ¼ in (6.35 mm) from the edge, then
again ½ in (1.27 cm) from the edge to hold in place.
Finished Care Instructions
