Quick Start
Important Safety Notices
•450 Size RC Helicopters use Lithium Polymer batteries (lipos).
•DO NOT leave your batteries unattended while they are being charged.
•You must have a fresh charge on your battery before you fly your 450.
Getting your HAUSLER 450 SE V2 RTF ready
Note: The manual shows an optional AC adapter for charging. All helicopters
come with a 12v charger so you can do a mobile charge from any 12V source.
Your transmitter is configured for Mode 2 – the cyclic is on the right stick, the
rudder and throttle on the left. RTF version comes with a 2.4 gHz digital six
channels radio system with Normal mode and one programmable flight mode for
full 3D/Stunt capability.
•You need 8 AA batteries (not included) for the your transmitter
•Remove the battery and the battery charger from the packaging.
•The battery has two leads, a “T” plug and a balance plug with multiple colored
wires. Plug the balance plug into your charger and connect to a 12v source.
It is normal for the charger to be warm.Periodically remove the battery from
the charger during the charge to let the charger voltage readjust.
•The three lights are red when the battery is discharged, and will go green
when the battery is fully charged. The charge rate is 1.2 amps, which will
take about 1 ½ hours to reach full charge.
•You will get 5 – 6 minutes of flight time per charge. Do not try for longer flight
times as it can damage the battery.

Mounting the canopy:Push the canopy on to the body, making sure it is seated.
Make small marks where the canopy mounts hit the canopy. Drill a small hole at the
mark and push the canopy grommets into the holes. Test fit the canopy.
Transmitter:Put all trims at center. The left knob is a fine adjustment for pitch and
throttle, the right knob is for your “piro rate”, or how quickly the tail responds. Put both
so they are at the 12 o’clock position. The top switches are to be in their rear positions.
As you become familiar with your 450, move the knobs to find your preference.
The First Flight
If you are new to RC helis, we recommend “training wheels”, which you can make using
24” dowels and 4 ping pong balls, or are available through your dealer.
Your first flight be over short grass. Plug in the battery and wait for the ESC to initialize
(the beeps). Slowly advance the throttle. Vibration is normal as the blades settle to
place. Your HAUSLER 450 SE V2 will slowly start to lift. Keep your first few flights very
close to the ground to identify any needed trim changes. When you are comfortable, let
the heli climb to two or three feet and it will stabilize in “clean” air.
Keep the heli in front of you. Make trim adjustments as needed. For example: If the
heli wants to wander to right, move the aileron trim 2 – 3 clicks to the left. If the heli
wants to wander backwards, move the trim forward.
When you crash: First, don’t panic! Most crashes result in only minor damage and can
be fixed with new parts and a few minutes. We carry a complete selection of
replacements parts.
Loading the Transmitter T6 Software
CD is PC compatible (not Mac). You can fine tune your set up from scale flight to full
3D capability using the software. Your transmitter must be connected to your PC using
the USB cord for the changes to be made in the transmitter. Different models can be
created and stored using the “Save” function in the software.
Flight Response
When you feel comfortable flying your HAUSLER 450 SE V2 remove the flybar weights
and the heli will become more responsive. Leave the weights on if you prefer more
scale like flight; remove them if you are looking for the next step in aerobatics.
