which, if not avoided, may result in minor injuries
to personnel or damage to equipment. It also alerts
the user on incorrect operating modes.

maintenance. Keep this guide in a safe place for further

The installation must be carried out according to the
manufacturer’s instructions. Incorrect installation can cause
harm to people, animals or property in respect of which the
manufacturer can not be held responsible.

• Check before each use the mechanical integrity of the device.
The sheath and plug the power cord should not be cracked or broken.
In the event of the conditions described above, immediately remove
the plug from the wall outlet and bring your product to an authorized
service center for the necessary checks.
• The packaging materials (plastic bags, cardboard protections, etc.)
must not be left within reach of children as potential sources of danger.
Children should not use the device as a
toy and should neither clean nor use the
equipment.
Keep away the children from the device and the power
cord.
The appliance must be used by adults adequately trained
for the purpose who have carefully red the content of this
manual.
• Before plugging the appliance make sure that the data on the label
correspond to those of the electrical distribution network. The plate is
on the bottom of the appliance (see p. 16).
• For your safety, it is recommended to power the device through a
circuit breaker (DRC) with trip current not exceeding 30 mA.
• In case of incompatibility between the socket and the plug of the
appliance, have the socket replaced with a suitable type by a qualied
professional. The latter, in particular, will also have to ensure that the
section of the socket cables is suitable for the power absorbed by
the appliance. In general it is not advisable to use adapters, multiple
sockets and / or extensions.
If their use is absolutely necessary, you must use only simple or multiple

adapters and extensions complying with current safety standards,
taking care not to exceed the limit of capacity, in current value shown
on simple adapters and extensions, and the maximum power shown
on multiple adapters.
• The use of any electrical appliance requires the observance of some
basic rules. in particular:
- do not touch the appliance with wet hands
- do not use the appliance barefoot
- do not pull the power cord or the appliance itself to remove the plug
from the socket
- do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (rain,
sun, etc.)
- do not allow the appliance to be used by children or disabled people
without supervision.
• In case of failure and/or malfunction, turn it off and do not tamper
it. For repairs apply only to the manufacturer or to a service center
authorized by the same and require the use of genuine spare parts.
Failure to comply with the above may compromise the security of the
device.
• If you decide not to use a device of this type any more, it must be
made inoperative by cutting the power cord after removing the plug
from the socket.
It is also recommended to make harmless those parts of the equipment
which may constitute a danger, especially for children who might use
an abandoned appliance for their games.
• To avoid dangerous overheating, it is recommended to extend the
power cord to its full length and use the appliance as recommended
in “USING THE APPLIANCE”.
• Do not leave the plugged in unnecessarily. Unplug it from the power
supply when the device is not used.
• Do not block the openings, ventilation or heat dissipation slots.
• If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced
by a service center authorized by the manufacturer, as special tools
are required.

Electrical safety of this appliance is assured only when it
is correctly connected to an efcient grounding system
as specied by current electrical safety standards.
• You should check this fundamental safety requirement and, if in doubt,
require an accurate control of the system by professionally qualied
personnel.
The manufacturer can not be held responsible for any damage
caused by the lack of grounding of the system.
• Before carrying out any cleaning turn off the power and disconnect
the power plug from the outlet.
• Do not connect the appliance to the power supply via external timer
or remote control systems.

Make sure the power cord does not protrude from the oor
to avoid that someone can pull it also inadvertently knocking
the appliance.

Place the appliance on a horizontal and rm supporting plane,
whose surface is not sensitive (eg. Lacquered furniture,
tablecloths etc.). Make sure that the appliance is safely
supported.

Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources.
Place the appliance away from sinks and faucets.

During operation, the outlet must be easily accessible in case
it is necessary to disconnect the appliance. Do not place the
appliance below a socket.

The blades are sharp; handle with care.
Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged.
• Do not move the appliance when in use.
• The device is not designed to be used under the rain and must not be
stored outdoors or in damp places.

Never immerse the appliance in water.
☞
Do not use the appliance in environments containing explosive,
combustible gases or ammable liquids (paints, glues, spray cans,
etc.).

• After use, always switch off the unit and remove the plug from the
socket.
• After each use, always perform a thorough cleaning of all parts in
contact with food, as mentioned under “Cleaning”.
• This device is intended for domestic and professional use.

This appliance is intended to be used only for the purpose for
which it was specically designed, i.e. to cut into small pieces
foodstuffs such as meat, sh, legumes, cheese, unshelled
nuts, etc. with reference to Directives 2002/96/EC; 93/68/EC;
2006/42/EC; 2002/72/EC; 2004/108/EC; REG 1935/2004/EC;
2002/95/EC (RoHS) and the following standards EN1672;
EN60204-1; EN60335-1; EN60335-2-14.
Any other use is considered improper and dangerous. The
manufacturer can not be held responsible for any damage
caused by improper, erroneous and unreasonable use

GENERAL INFORMATION
- This publication contains all the
necessary information for installation,
use and maintenance of the food-grade
cutter (also called “appliance”).
- The purpose of this document,
hereinafter referred to as “manual”, is
to allow the user, especially end users
to take all action and prepare all the
human and material resources needed
for safe and sustainable use of the
device.
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
- The device is guaranteed for 24 months.
The purchase date must be proven with
the relevant document.
In the absence of valid scal document,
the warranty claim can not be exercised.
- In case of non-compliance the claim
must be made in writing within two
months from the observation of the
defect attaching the tax document,
compiled in the act of buying, with stamp
and signature of the store.
Manufacturer’s warranty and
liability
- The guarantee of proper operation and
full compliance of the machines to their
intended service depends on the correct
application of the instructions contained
in this manual.
- The manufacturer is not responsible
directly and indirectly for any damage
caused by improper use of the device
resulting from:
- failure to follow instructions contained
in this manual
- use of untrained personnel;
- use not in accordance with specic
regulations, in force in the country
of installation;
- changes and/or unauthorized repair;
- use of accessories and unoriginal
spare parts;
- exceptional events.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
This product complied with Directive 2012/19/UE.
The crossed out wheeled bin symbol on equipment indicates that it must be treated separately
from household waste at the end of its working life and therefore taken to a recycling facility for
electrical and electronic equipment or handed over to the reseller when purchasing new equipment
of the same type.
The user is responsible for consigning the equipment to appropriate collection facilities at the end
of its working life or face the penalties provided for by current waste management legislation.
Separate collection for subsequent delivery of waste equipment to environmentally-compatible
recycling, treatment and disposal facilities to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment
and human health whilst encouraging recycling of the product’s components.
For further information regarding the available collection facilities, please contact your local refuse
collection service or the shop in which the purchase was made.
Manufacturers and/or importers full their obligations concerning environmentally-compatible
recycling, treatment and disposal either directly or by joining a collective scheme.

CE CONFORMITY MARKING AND LABELS
The appliance described in this manual is manufactured in compliance with the current
EC Directives and subsequent amendments. All its component parts are adapted to the
requirements of the EC Directives and the CE marking demonstrates its compliance.
The identication plate bearing the manufacturer’s name, the technical data and the CE
marking is located on the cutter base.
The above mentioned plate may not be removed and must always be legible.
If the plate is worn or damaged, the user is obliged to replace it.
Persons authorised to make the electrical connection must check that the characteristics
of the power line correspond to what is indicated on the identication plate.
Other labels are applied on the appliance and must be replaced if they are damaged or
illegible.

MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY DEVICES
The mechanical safety devices are the following:
• Transparent plastic protective cover (6) suitable for contact with food.
• Starting with Start/Stop button (X) that requires intentional restarting of the appliance
in the event of a power failure.
• Magnetic microswitch (12) on the transparent cover (6), which does not allows starting
the appliance when the cover is open.
• Microswitch (10) located underneath the pot, which does not allow starting the appliance
before having positioned the pot.
• Microswitch (11) which does not allow starting the appliance if the pot is not properly
positioned on the appliance body (the pin (P) on the pot must be in place in its seat).
• Appliance power light (15).

Do not under any circumstances tamper with, remove or
bypass the safety devices installed on the appliance.
APPLIANCE DESCRIPTION
• The appliance consists of a base that supports a pot containing two rotating blades
screwed onto a spindle.
• The food is chopped up or reduced to pulp depending on the operating time of the two
blades.
• All the appliance components are made of polished and anodically oxidised aluminium
alloy, stainless steel and plastic for food use.
• The blades are driven by an electric motor and motion transmission is achieved with
a longitudinally scored belt.
• The appliance is started and stopped with a button connected to the auxiliary control
circuit which prevents accidental starting following a power failure.
INTENDED USE
• For the intended and proper use of the appliance, read the note on page 11.
Use the appliance only for the intended uses. Improper use
of the appliance and different from the permitted uses may
cause a risk to the safety and health of persons as well as
economic damage.
NOT INTENDED OR IMPROPER USE
• Do not process hard foods such as bones, shells, frozen foods, ice. The blades would
be damaged!
• Do not ll the pot to over half its capacity; the upper part of the blade must be free to
be able to remove it.

USING THE APPLIANCE
• Position the appliance on a well levelled, smooth, dry and stable surface suitable to
support its weight.
• Install the appliance in the immediate vicinity of a CE-marked power outlet derived
from a system conform to the regulations in force.
☞
Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains
characteristics correspond to those indicated on the appliance
identication plate.
• Properly position the pot (5) on the metal tube (9).
• Fit the desired blade on the metal tube (9) making sure that the plug (X) slips into place
on the pin (Y).
The blades are very sharp so handle them with care!
