1) Start by removing the service hatch. Remove the 4 fixing screws, 2 at the top and 2 in the corners.
There is a Din Rai revea ed once the service hatch has been removed.
2) Use the cab e grommets to bring the cab es into and out of the contro er base .
3) Connect the Mains IN as fo ows, Neutra b ue wire to termina #1 – Neutral IN, Live brown wire to
termina #2 – L1 IN, Live b ack wire to termina #3 – L2 IN, Live grey wire to termina #4 – L3 IN.
4) There are two methods on how to connect the Infrared Heaters to the contro er.
a)
Connect the heater or heaters Live to O/P1 termina #5 switched L1, the O/P has a maximum oad
capacity of 6Kw or 32amps. O/P1 can a so be referred to as Zone 1. Connect the heater Neutra s to
Neutral Out termina s #8 – 13. The heater Earth is connected to the Earth termina #14. The
remaining heaters shou d be distributed across the remaining two outputs O/P2 & O/P3. P ease
ensure that the load is balanced across the output terminals #5 – 7. Do not exceed the maximum
load capacity per output.
b)
Connect to an externa distribution box. Connect O/P1 to termina s marked 1, O/P2 to termina s marked
2 and O/P3 to termina s marked 3. Connect the Neutra OUT to the b ue termina s marked N. Connect
the Earth to the green/ye ow Earth termina s. Then connect the heaters to the other side of the
termina s to the appropriate connections. Live connections to termina s 1,2&3. Neutral connections to
b ue termina s N and Earth connections to the Earth termina s.

5) When a connections are comp ete and connected correct y, check once again that the wiring is correct
as per 3) & 4). Then rep ace the service hatch cover and tighten the fixing screws.
6) Turn ON or reconnect the Main Power to the contro er. The red neon amp on the front pane wi
i uminate to indicate that the unit is LIVE.
7) There are auxi iary devices such as mains operated PIR motion detectors & timer ( ag) switches. These
can be connected to termina s #15 – 17. Externa push button switches which are vo tage c ean or free
can be connected to termina s #18 – 20.
8) An optiona auxi iary device QHVC-S externa 3 zone variab e contro can be connected to termina s
#21 – 25. P ease contact the agent or distributor for auxi iary device instructions.
