Digital Meter of Chloro hyll Content
1 Introduction
The clorofiLOG – Digital Chloro hyll Content Meter – is an that allows the
user to identify the cro health condition in a sim le and direct form. The
chloro hyll content is ro ortional to fundamental nutrients, as nitrogen. By
using the clorofiLOG is ossible to identify and correct cro shortcomings
directly in field.
The measurement is done by o tical form, using scientific knowledge of
the light frequencies that chloro hyll rocesses best in hotosynthesis. With
exclusive technology, chlorofiLOG analyzes 3 light frequency bands in the
measurement, allowing a detailed analysis, taking into account the resence
of chloro hyll ty es A and B.
This manual covers all as ects related to the use of the equi ment and
guidelines for starting to use the Falker Leaf Web A lication and A , which
allows the visualization and analysis of collected data. However, this
document is not an agronomic manual, and does not include ost-
measurement actions related to the treatment of ICF.
Thank you for choosing Falker!

3.8 Internal GPS
The clorofiLOG model 2060 already has an onboard GPS, which allows all
measurements to be georeferenced, and even to record the date and time
they were taken. This model does not need an external antenna or cables
and accessories for this. As an indication, the clorofiLOG screen will have
two icons for checking the GPS signal.
An icon identifies whether the device was able to calculate the current
osition. For this, it is necessary, at least, 3 satellites visible by the
equi ment, because the GPS signal de ends on the triangulation between
satellites so that the current osition is known. Position accuracy will
de end on signal quality.
The other icon identifies the signal strength.
The 4 levels indicate the accuracy of the data acquired by the GPS. For
better recision, it is always recommended to wait for the signal to remain
with 4 bars, aiming at greater recision in the acquired coordinate.
De ending on weather or environmental conditions such as clouds and
trees, it may not be ossible to get all 4 bars.
3.9 Screens
The navigation between the screens is mainly through the keys. Following
the navigation scheme of the screens resented below, in addition to
erforming the Falker chloro hyll index measurements, we can also view
these measurements and define the equi ment settings.
Navigation between the different screens of the equi ment is sim le and
intuitive, using the keys as commands. and to change settings, view
measurements, etc., and keys and to enter and exit a screen,
res ectively.

3.10 Falker Leaf – Visualisation and data analysis
ClorofiLOG has a s ecific Web A lication and A for viewing and
analyzing the collected data.
In an online system, with data saved in the cloud and automatic
synchronization between Web and A , you can access information from
anywhere for analysis or sharing. It also allows the generation of
measurement re orts for resentation.
Note:
The Falker LEAF System for transferring and analyzing data on the
com uter is constantly evolving.
Follow the directions directly in the system.
18 de 23
The Web A lication could be
access in:
leaf.falker.com.br
And the A is available for
Android devices on the Google Play
Store. Search for “Falker Leaf”

CFL2060
Digital Chloro hyll Content Meter
The System also allows customizing and ex orting re orts for the
resentation of measurement results, including gra hs, arameters and
attributes of the data collected.
3.11 Data transfer
Data transfer can be done in two ways:
– USB cable: connect a USB cable to the device's USB C out ut with the
device turned off.
The data must then be sent to the Falker Leaf web system using a
com uter. Windows will o en a directory called, ''CFL2BOOT” where the file
will be available for co ying. The file format is “.FC2”.
– Bluetooth: air the equi ment with a smart hone and transfer the
measurements from the equi ment to the A via Bluetooth. Whenever the
smart hone receives an internet signal, it will automatically synchronize the
data in the cloud, in the Falker Leaf system.

source or to a device with USB. Avoid using chargers that are not a roved
by Organs res onsible bodies.
The connector com artment is rotected by a sliding cover. Access is by
moving the cover to the right.
Figure 23: Out ut access
During charging, the red LED is on. When charging is com lete, the LED
turns off.
4.2 Device cleaning
Always kee the equi ment clean, removing any dirt resulting from
contact with the lants with a dry cloth.
The equi ment is not water roof. However, it has external s lash
resistance, and care must be taken in the region of the USB C connector.
If there is difficulty in calibration due to dirt in the measuring chamber, it
is necessary to clean it using only a small iece of cotton or cotton swab. If
necessary, moisten it with water only. Do not use any chemicals.
4.3 Software atualization
The equi ment's embedded software, which controls its o eration, can be
u dated by the user with files rovided by Falker.
For this, one must enter the mode called “Bootloader”. With the
equi ment turned off and disconnected from the charger, kee the keys
and ressed together. Kee ing both keys ressed, turn on the
equi ment using the key . The equi ment will kee the dis lay off or
with the “Bootloader” indication. Okay, now the equi ment has entered
Bootloader mode.
