Intended use:
The Fame Stagepiano SP-2 is a digital piano designed to play sounds on the keyboard and make
them audible through built-in speakers or headphones. Improper use of the product is considered
improper and can lead to personal injury or property damage. No liability is assumed for damage
resulting from improper use.
It must be ensured that the device is operated exclusively by trained and competent users who are in
full possession of their mental, physical and sensory abilities. The use by other persons is only permit-
ted under the supervision or guidance of a person responsible for their safety.

Important safety instructions! Please read before connection!
CAUTION! (Electro Magnetic Interference)
The normal function of the product may be disturbed by Strong Electro Magnetic
Interference. If so, simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following
the owner‘s manual. In case the function could not resume, please use the product
in other location.
DANGER! (For babies and children)
Dispose of or store any packaging material properly! Packaging material must be
kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the danger of suffocation.
Make sure that children never use the device unattended! In addition, make sure
that children do not remove (small) parts from the device, as they could suffocate
by swallowing parts!
DANGER! (Electric shock due to high voltages in the device)
The housing must not be removed! There are no parts to be maintained in the
device. Inside the unit there are components which are under high electrical
voltage.
Before each use, check the device for damage or the absence of components,
protective devices or housing parts. If this is the case, do not use the device!
Leave maintenance and repair work to a qualified service workshop or contact
your dealer.
DANGER! (Electric shock due to short circuit)
Modifications to the power co d or plug are prohibited. If the power cord is dama-
ged, it must be replaced immediately with an original spare part from the
manufacturer. Failure to do so may result in fi e or death due to electric shock!
WARNING! (Damage to hearing)
The unit may generate volumes that may cause temporary or permanent hearing-
loss. Over time, even seemingly uncritical levels can cause hearing damage. Reduce
the volume immediately if ear noise or hearing loss occurs. If this is not possible,
keep a greater distance or use adequate hearing protection.
Hint! (Fire hazard due to overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40°C.
Ensure that the unit is placed in a place with adequate ventilation, out of the reach
of direct heat sources, naked flames and combustible materials and liquids
The ventilation slots of the device must not be taped or covered.

Hint! (Operating conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor operation
(IP20). Never expose the device to rain, moisture or liquids as this may cause
damage.
Vibrations, dust or solar radiation can also lead to damage, avoid them!
Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Do not let paper, metallic, or other objects into the instrument. If this happens,
remove the electric plug from the outlet. Then have the instrument inspected by
qualified service personnel
Disconnect all cables before moving the instrument.
Hint! (Power supply)
It is essential that you check that the device voltage matches your local mains
voltage. It is highly recommended that you fuse your mains socket with a residual
current circuit breaker (FI).
Please connect the designated AC adaptor to an AC outlet.
If you do not use your device for a longer period of time, disconnect it from the
power supply in order to minimize danger. The same applies to storm conditions
such as thunderstorms, floods, etc.
Hint! (Commissioning)
All connections of the device should be made before switching on.
Use only high-quality cables for connections.
Hint! (Installation)
Be sure to inspect the device for damage before using. Optimum use of the
original packaging or suitable transport or storage packaging to protect the pro-
duct when not in use optimally against influences such as dust or moistu e, etc.
Hint! (Possible damage due to magnetic fields
Loudspeakers generate a static magnetic field. Please keep an app opriate distance
from other equipment that may be affected or damaged by an external magnetic
field

Speakers cause a static magnetic field. Ensure sufficient distance from equipment
that may be affected.
Hint! (Interferences with other electrical devices)
IRadios and televisions placed nearby may experience reception interference.
Operate this unit at a suitable distance from radios and televisions.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
•Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
•Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
•Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
•Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
THE FCC REGULATION WARNING (for USA)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
Symbols on device and packaging:
The lightning flash symbol warns the user of uninsulated voltages and the risk
of electric shock.
The exclamation mark symbol draws the user’s attention to important

Turning the Power On or Off
1. Make sure the instrument is properly connected to the power supply.
2. Press the [POWER] switch. The panel LEDs light up. The power is turned on.
3. Rotate the [VOLUME] knob to set the volume to a desired level.
4. When you are ready to turn off the power, press the [POWER] switch for a
second. The panel LEDs will turn off.
Note:
In order to save energy, the instrument will automatically shut down after 30 minutes of not being used. You can turn off the
power protection by using a keyboard command, holding SHIFT and press C1, C#1at the same time. Please unplug the
instrument when it is not in use or during a thunderstorm.

6.AUX IN Jack
For connecting to the OUTPUT jack of external audio source such as an MP3 player.

For connecting the specifed power adapter.
8.Unit Pedal Jack ( Optional )
For connecting an optional unit pedal (Soft Pedal, Sostenuto Pedal and Sustain Pedal) to the pedal jack located on the
bottom of the instrument.

For connecting to headphones. When headphones are connected, the internal speakers will be muted. The sound
can only be heard from the headphones.

For connecting to a computer or a mobile device via cable.
An additional adapter may be needed to connect to mobile devices.

Playing Voices
1.Press one of the [VOICE] buttons. The corresponding voice LED lights up.
2.Press the same [VOICE] button repeatedly to circulate through the selected voice group
and select a voice. (Refer to Voice List for details.)
3.Play the keyboard to use the selected voice for performance.
Dual Mode / Split Mode
Turn on the dual function.
Hold a [VOICE] button and then press another to turn on the dual function. The corresponding voice LEDs light up.
The first voice you press will be set as the upper voice “VOICE R1”, and the second voice you press will be set as the dual voice “VOICE R2”.
Turn on the split function.
Press two [VOICE] buttons respectively and hold them, then press a key on the keyboard to assign as the split point. The corresponding voice
LEDs light up after releasing the buttons.
The first voice you press will be set as the upper voice “VOICE R1”, and the second voice you press will be set as the lower voice “VOICE L”.

Select voices.
Press a [VOICE] button repeatedly to circulate through this voice group and select a voice.
Turn off the dual/split function.
Long press either the upper or the second [VOICE] button to disengage the targeted voice. The corresponding voice LED is unlit. The dual/split
function is turned off. Alternatively, press a [VOICE] button other than the upper or second [VOICE] buttons. The dual/ split function will be turned
off. The pressed voice will be selected and the corresponding LED lights up.
Notes:
1.Please quickly press the second [VOICE] button after you press the first [VOICE] button. Otherwise, your operation may be recognized as long-
press and the dual/split function will be turned off.
2.If you press a few keys when assigning the split point, it will set the last key you press as the split point.
3.The dual and the lower functions cannot be used at the same time.

Twinova
Twinova function splits the keyboard into two areas with the same voice and octave range, for the convenience of playing together with a friend or
instructor.
Turn Twinova on or off.
Press and hold the [SHIFT] button, then press the key [D#7] to turn Twinova on or off. The split point is E4/F4.
Select a voice for Twinova.
The upper voice selected before entering Twinova will become the default voice for both areas. But you can press the voice buttons to select a
desired voice.
Note
The Twinova mode and dual / lower functions cannot be used at the same time. During song playback, Twinova mode is not selectable.
1.Press and hold the [SHIFT] button, then use the keyboard to turn the piano parameters on or off, or set the corresponding effect depth. Piano
Parameters (String Resonance, Damper Resonance, Damper Noise, Hammer Noise,Lid) apply to Piano Voice no.1 to no.4 only. These parameters are
not available when using other voices.
2.When a piano parameter is turned on, it will revert to the previously set level.
3.When a piano parameter is turned off, pressing the corresponding [-] key will not respond. But the effect depth will increase from 1 (except the Lid
depth which will change from 2/4 Open to Full Open) when you press the corresponding [+] key.
Playing Metronome / Rhythms
Press the [MODE] button to select Metronome mode. The corresponding mode LED lights up. The instrument will enter Metronome mode by
default every time the power is turned on.
Press and hold the [<] or [>] button to quickly jump to the nearest eleventh. For example, if the currently pattern is No.5, long press the [>] button
and it will quickly select No.11.
Alternatively, press and hold the [SHIFT] button, then use the keys [C3 - A3] to enter a metronome/rhythm pattern number. When using the
keyboard to enter a number, you will need to press two keys total. For example, press A3, C3 in sequence to select Metronome/ Rhythm no.1.

3. Stop playing Metronome/Rhythm.
When metronome/rhythm is playing, press
the [START/STOP] button to stop the playback. Alternatively, press the [MODE] button to move to Song mode. Metronome/rhythm playback will be
stopped.
Playing Songs
Press the [MODE] button to select Song mode. The corresponding mode LED lights up.
1.Start playing a song.
In Song mode, press the [START/STOP] button to start playing a song. The [START/ STOP] button LED will blink according to the song tempo.
2.Select a Song.
Press the [<] [>] button to select a desired song. Press and hold the [<] or [>] button to quickly jump to the nearest eleventh. For example, if the
currently song is No.1, long press the [>] button and it will quickly select No.11.
Alternatively, press and hold the [SHIFT] button, then use the keys [C3 - A3] to enter a song number. When using the keyboard to enter a number,
you always need to press three keys total. For example, press A3, A3, C3 (001) in sequence to select
3. Stop playing the song.
When a song is playing, press the [START/STOP] button to stop the playback.
Alternatively, press the [MODE] button toenter other modes. The song playback will be stopped.
1. Start playing Metronome/Rhythms.
In Metronome mode, press the [START/STOP] button to start playing metronome/rhythms. The [START/STOP] button LED will blink according to
the metronome/rhythm tempo.
2. Select a metronome/rhythm pattern.
Press the [<] [>] button to select a desired metronome/rhythm pattern.

Piano Parameters

1. Press the [MODE] button to select metronome/ rhythm mode or Song mode.
2. Press and hold the [SHIFT] button, then press the [<] [>] buttons to change the tempo. Pressing both [<] and [>] buttons at the same time will
reset to the default tempo of the current metronome/rhythm or song.
Hold [SHIFT] and long press the [<] or [>] button to quickly adjust the value to the nearest tens. For example, if the currently tempo is 126, long
press the [>] button and it will jump to 130. Alternatively, hold [SHIFT], and press the [TEMPO] key, then use the keys [C3 - A3] to enter a value.
Please press three number keys total to enter a tempo value.
Note:
IIn Metronome mode, when playback stops, changing the metronome/rhythm pattern will reset the tempo. However, changing the metronome/
rhythm pattern during playback will not result in tempo change.
Recording
Press the [MODE] button to select Record mode. The corresponding mode LED lights up.
1. Prepare and start recording.
In Record mode, hold the [SHIFT] button, then press the [REC] button to put the
recorder on standby. The mode button LED will blink.
Play the keyboard to start recording. During recording, the [REC] button LED will blink.
2. Stop recording.
Press the [REC] button to stop recording.
The [REC] button LED stops blinking. The recorded data will be saved automatically.
Note:
The saved recorded data will not be lost after power off.
3. Play back recording.
In Record mode, press the [START/STOP] button to play back the recorded song. During playback, the [START/STOP] button LED will blink. But if
there is no recorded data, pressing the [START/STOP] button will not respond.
Adjusting the Tempo

Troubleshooting
The speakers produce a pop sound whenever the power is turned ON/OFF.
This is normal and is no cause for alarm.
Speakers do not produce sound when the keyboard is played.
Check if the master volume is set too low. Check if headphones are plugged into the PHONES Jacks.
The speakers produce noise when a mobile phone is put near them.
Using a mobile phone in close proximity
to the instrument may produce interference. To prevent this, turn off the mobile phone or use it farther away from the instrument.
Certain notes seem to be in the wrong pitch Make sure tuning is reset to default setting. Restart the instrument to reset to the
default settings.
When connecting to computer, the instrument cannot be recognized.
Check if the USB cable is firmly connected.
Try connecting another USB port on the computer. This instrument is plug and play which should work without installing a driver.
It shuts down after a period of time.
The auto power off function will turn off
the instrument after a preset period of time when the instrument is not in use.

Disposal of packaging:
Ensure that paper packaging, plastic material, etc. are recycled separately. Observe the labels and the corresponding
regulations.
Disposal of batteries:
Batteries do not belong in the garbage! Please dispose of batteries in accordance with official egulations at collection
points or disposal stations.
Disposal of your old device:
Do not dispose of the device with household waste! This device is subject to the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment) in its currently valid version.
The device is to be disposed of by an approved disposal company or your local waste disposal service. The
regulations applicable in your country must be obser-ved!
Cleaning:
A regular cleaning of the device from impurities and dust increases the durability of the product. Always disconnect the device from the power
supply before cleaning it! Never clean the appliance wet! Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth to optimize light output.
entilation grilles and openings should always be cleaned of dust and dirt. Suitable compressed air sprays are recommended for this application.
