the Com.X Trouble-shooting gui e.
Note: Com.X systems running 1.3 software can be upgra e to 1.4 software an

2 Managing t e unit
2.1 Accessing t e unit
2.1.1 Factory network configuration
The Com.X units ship with 2 - 4 external ethernet ports labele lan1, lan2 etc.
(enumerate from eth0 in the Operating System). Com.X1 an Com.X10 mo els
have an internal ethernet port (eth3), an certain Com.X5 mo els have an internal
port for DSL applications (wan). The ports are factory-configure as follows.

2.1.2 Aut entication
Web login has been pre-configure with the efault a ministrator username 'a min'
an passwor 'a min'. It is a visable to change this passwor irectly after
installation.
2.1.3 Remote web login
Once the unit has been powere on an starte up, it can be accesse from a
Firefox, Internet Explorer or Chrome web browser with the URL set to the IP a ress
of the unit. Select the A ministrator button to log in. Enter your username an
passwor an select 'Login' to authenticate. Please see section 2.1.8 for more etail
on changing the a ministrator's passwor .
