Farre Healthy Juicer User manual

• As this is not a power driven juicer it is advisable to
cut the fruit and vegetables up into small sized cubes
for juicing. When juicing wheatgrass, cut off about
3cm clump of grass, while holding grass cut it
into 3cm pieces over a bowl with a pair of scissors.
Feed the grass into the juicer as loose strands and not as
a thick clump. Wheatgrass can become like a thick tough
rope in the juicing process if too much is placed into the hopper
at one time and if the strands are too long. This can place
excessive force onto the parts ultimately breaking the juicer.
• If at any time you encounter too much resistance on the handle, turn the handle
in an anti-clockwise direction to release the blockage. You may have to remove
some of the produce before continuing.
• If the base seems to be stuck to the surface, turn the base knob slightly once
or twice and rock the base to loosen the rubber from the surface.
• It is recommended that you use the clamp as an additional method of securing
the juicer to the surface when juicing hard vegetables.
Tips
E&OE
www.healthessentials.co.za
Never immerse the Farre Healthy Juicer in hot water for a prolonged period of time.
Never use your fingers to push produce into the hopper, use 11, the pusher at all times.
Never force the handle beyond a normal resistance. If you feel resistance turn the handle
in an anti-clockwise direction and remove the produce that is causing the resistance.
Always feed small amounts at a time into the hopper.
Please read these operating instructions before using the unit and
keep for future reference.

Operating Instructions
• Best for wheatgrass and leafy vegetables
• For fruit and hard vegetables
• Unique design with power locking base
The Farre Healthy Juicer is made from high quality materials, is simple to assemble and easy
to clean. The specially designed auger crushes and squeezes fruit, vegetables and leafy greens

Dismantling the Farre Healthy Juicer and Cleaning Instructions
1. The handy wrench included with your package is for tightening and loosening 7,
the End Cap. Take note to keep 6, the Nylon Washer safe when removing the End Cap.
2. Remove the handle by loosening 2, the Screw Knob.
3. Remove the auger taking careful note to take care of 4, the Auger Bush
4. With the help of 11, the base lever, disengage 9, the Locking Base Knob.
5. Slide 3, the Hopper Body off the base.
6. Place all the parts into warm soapy water, wash, rinse and dry.
7. Safely reattach the small parts (8, Small Screw Cap and 6, Nylon Washer)
Tip: Keep the juicer attached to the table/countertop when loosening the End Cap.
1. The surface must be smooth and clean.
2. Place the assembled unit onto the table or counter top, approximately
6mm from the base edge with the auger shaft pointing away
from the table.
3. Lock the base by turning 9, the Locking Base Knob with 11,
the Pusher/Base Lever Fig.3
4. The suction base will provide extreme holding ability when used
on a smooth non-porous surface such as formica, glass, ceramic
tile or stainless steel. If the juicing is to be done on any other surface,
13, the Clamp, should be used to secure the Farre Healthy Juice to
the table or counter top.
5. To use the Clamp, fit the Clamp into the hole in the base of the juicer and hand tighten
securely to the underside of the table.

1. Once the Juicer is assembled, secured and the collection bowl and pulp collection
container are in place, start by feeding suitably cut produce into 3, the Hopper/body.
2. While turning the handle, push the produce into the hopper using 11, Pusher/base lever.
(Never use your fingers or an implement such as a spoon to push the produce down).
Feeding small amounts at a time will ensure that you do not overload the juicer.
3. Continue with this action until all the produce has been processed.
4. If you do not have any objection to a slight dilution of the juice, pour a little filtered water
into the hopper to clear any juice left in the juicer.
Tips: • The small screw cap, 8, is used to apply additional pressure in the
process for juicing fibrous vegetables and wheatgrass.
It is not necessary to use the cap for other vegetables
• If you are juicing very hard vegetables such as carrots
or beets it is recommended that the metal clamp is used.
1. Assemble parts 4 & 5 (as per the diagram) into 3, the Hopper/Body,
of the juicer. Note: the auger bush may already be in place.
2. Check that 6, the Nylon Washer is in 7, the End Cap.
(Otherwise damage may be caused to the juicer)
3. Screw 7, the End Cap onto 3, the Hopper/Body. Please note
that the end cap tightens in a counter clockwise direction.
4. Screw 8, the Small Screw Cap onto 7, the End Cap in a
clockwise direction.
5. Check that 9, the Locking Base Knob is disengaged, then
slide 3, the Hopper/Body into 10, the Locking Base. Fig. 1
6. Place the assembled juicer onto a tabletop and engage 10, the Locking Base using 11,
the Pusher/Base Lever to engage and disengage 10, the Locking Base Knob.
7. Place 1, the handle over the auger shaft and hand tighten 2, the screw knob. Fig. 3
8. Position 12, the Collection Bowl so that the extended portion is under the juicing spout,
which is located on the main body under the back of the hopper.
9. You may also want to place a collection bowl (not included) under 7, the End Cap
to collect the pulp.
